Lynn, people don't give these Deer enough credit. Cowboy certainly knows the difference between you and his fellow species, or he wouldn't come to you and eat out of your hand. Of course, you have to be careful around them while they are in rut but look at how gentle he is with you. Just special. 🌽🦌🦌🦌💞

This trains this big deer herd that they never need to leave this area, since food is always available. As a result, deer can start to inbreed, spread disease, such as chronic wasting disease and ticks, and also pose a danger to other people, pets, and even themselves. Don't teach deer to be comfortable around human dwellings by feeding them.

The reason why they are misbehaving as you say. The reason for them acting like that it happens in October and November it's rut time. which means they are mating, so the males will fight each other. To prove dominant to take the Females And put some babies inside of them.Lol

Lynn. You be very careful during this time in the rut. As nice as the bucks are, they can actually start some shhhtuff with you too. My uncle was attacked by his pet bucks during the rut and nearly killed him. Great video though. The dominant bucks will not tolerate the smaller being around the does during this time.
