BNSF Train Overtakes, Passes Train, Trains WORKING HARD, Dangerous Railfan Spot & Heritage Unit

- 5 Trains In Cincinnati Working Hard Out Of Queensgate Yard! Trains Passing in Rough Neighborhood, CSX local switching train with Tropicana Boxcars & Tankers, Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit & Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad locomotives! Old Baltimore And Ohio Railroad signals are still in use and if you look close you might see the train drop the signal ( signal goes from green to red as train passes it ). All kinds of action here. These trains are in Cincinnati near the Spring Grove Cemetery in an area called Winton Woods. I heard the trains refer to it as that on the radio. This area is just north of the CSX Queensgate Yard. This is a busy area for trains and is used by CSX, NS, Indiana & Ohio Railway and Amtrak.
Be careful if you Railfan here and never go at night. I have seen so many things on the television news from this area. I haven't had any problems here but I have had people ask me for money. Check out the BNSF units pulling the train past the NS train and the smoke coming out of the locomotives as they pull. Is that cool or what?! And what about all those truck frames?! That is the most that I have seen. At one point they stretched out as far as I could see. Each flatcar had four stacks of truck frames on it and each stack had 10 frames. Just look how many new trucks are going to be built! Put the calculator away, you don't need it. Lol.

Unfortunatly I have to agree with you. I'm in my 70s and have never seen people so self centered and uncaring about other people, except for their immediate family, and sometimes they don't care about them. Sad times.

Great content as always. Loved the dual action. When I drove truck over the road I was robbed @ Gunpoint 3 times and Cincinnati was 1 of those places.
Sorry to hear that. Cincinnati has some really bad spots. I got car jacked in Cincinnati. They drove my car around with me in it and when all of them except for the driver got out I fought back and got my car back.
@@JawTooth the Cold Storage I delivered to had no Lumpers and Drivers couldn't bring 1 in . Seems there were on going security issues. Your experience was real scary.
Oh,I got nightmares hearing these comments. I live in a fairly safe Area,but my spouse and I won't watch trains at night,for the most part because crime has increased. Take care everyone out there!
@@jananderson672 I got robbed in Orlando Florida at night. I was going into my motel room and a guy came up behind me and pushed me in the room. He had a couple of other people with him. They got 80 bucks from me and hung around for a little bit and then left. I have a few other bad things like that from rail fanning.

Fantastic video JT. Loved the double action goung into Queensgate yard. That BNSF train literally had truck frames as far as the eye or camera could see. Then a good catch of that green and yellow heritage unit with more double action. Stay safe JT, love the videos but not worth your life footage was still great from the safety of your truck. I see the those frames down here alot, there's a small railroad yard at Magna in Bowling Green and I see their switchers staging all the frames in the yard before there shipped out by CSX, yes I've seen more frames than that! But it's cool to see them traveling to their destination! Thanks for sharing Jawtooth!
30 years ago this Jersey boy was working in western Cincinnati. We would service building downtown. Heading back to North of Queensgate to our facility the guy I was with told me to get out of the truck in a tough area east of Queensgate. Yep I was scared. Good video. Lived in West Chester back then. Love all the Hamilton shots.

The Big Boy came through our area here in Oklahoma and we chased it to its next stop. I got Ed Dickens to sign my Trains magazine that had him in it. I was in heaven! Lol.. stay safe out there!

Back in the day, when trucks and cars used frames, A.O. Smith in Milwaukee had several trains per day shipping out frames.

We have a bunch of BNSF going back and forth on the Southern Tier. 3 of them just headed through to Binghamton an hour ago. 2 trailing an NS on the 316 and 1 trailing an NS on the 264.

BNSF Chicago to LA. Every train had a group of locomotives on both ends. When they’re parked with a loaded train,who knows if it’s going north or south.

Wow that was a lot of truck frames. We have a GM truck plant outside of St. Louis in Wentzville. They may be headed there but NS services that plant. I find it amazing that those two locomotives can get that huge string of cars moving from a dead stop and on a hill. Awesome power there. Nice catch of the Illinois Terminal engine. But stay safe man, some areas are just not good places to be.

In the mid 1960's I lived in Mt. Healthy and commuted to U.C. I used to occasionally get stopped at a railroad crossing on Winton Rd. at a track that ran through Spring Grove Cemetery. The track has been removed but, on Google Earth, it appears there's still a railroad bridge going over the road in the cemetery.
