Hi I have a few questions! When do you think the best time is to switch from rgb to cmyk for print? Let's say I am placing a jpg into an indesign file, which I will later save as a PDF with print settings. Would it be okay to leave the jpg with the rgb color mode as-is and rely on the PDF settings to convert everything to cmyk, or should I be converting images as I go? I hope that makes sense! Another question. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around spot colors, so my question is mainly for a previous video you did. How do I know which colors I should assign as a spot color? Will the printers let me know, or is there a way to determine before printing which colors fall out of the cmyk range and will need special assignment?
