As a black man, I honestly do not care. I'm not too fond of hypocrisy, and I find it funny how a lot of black people want to segregate themselves, but when the reverse happens, they call foul.
I live in a town that's at least 60% black, and the races get along just fine. Their only crime is against each other, go figure.
Good man. I have several "oppression points" which I never use because I am normal law-abiding despite low income. Normal is all most of us are looking for.
Yup. When I moved to the South, I was shocked at the self segregation. There were parts of the school I stayed away from because I knew I was going to be sexually harassed. Parents were also part of the problem. They didn't care about education.

Not so fast, bub!
They didn't secede. I grew up there, actually went to St. George elementary school. That area has always been unincorporated. Police service out there was the EBR Parish Sheriff's office, not Baton Rouge PD.
We're not even wealthy. Most of us are middle class. My family is lower middle class. My neighbors rent their homes. Mayor Broome told us we could have our own school system if we made our own city, as we were never actually part of the city of Baton Rouge. So we said, "Okay." That's an important thing to note: WE WERE NEVER INCORPORATED INTO BATON ROUGE. We didn't secede. We just decided to make a city, which we should have always had the right to do. We also have our own fire department already. We have a lot of infrastructure already in place. On the map, the reason why some of those areas aren't in St. George is, I believe, that Baton Rouge threw a massive hissy-fit that some economically important areas would be leaving, and refused to let them join up with us. The residents of these areas are majority black, so it became an accusation of racism.
I was born in baton rouge. Went to school in Holden, LA until 05. We had corporal punishment. It worked. Our school was clean, orderly, had fantastic scores, incredible sports teams, respect, and none of this violent nonsense. Living in southeast louisiana is very segregated, and the cultural differences are wild. Ive never felt less safe than when my family got lost in the wrong town. The animosity towards white people is encouraged and often deadly. The dirty south is a filthy and violent place in the bad areas.
We learn to avoid the bad areas. They all look the same. People shuffling around like they have nowhere to go and nothing to do, burned out houses, bars on the windows, lots of closed shuttered buildings that used to be businesses, junk cars parked on the streets and on the lawns, and groups of people sitting around watching you and looking mean. Only places open are a liquor store and/or gas station and the school looks run down and prison-like.
I was SHOCKED when I moved to Tampa from Grand Rapids. GR had it's bad parts but if you minded your own business you could walk anywhere. In Tampa, you will get stomped and possibly die if you wander into the hood.
Thank your media for it.

My mom is 71. She experienced the same growing up on an Indian reservation in north dakota in the 50s. She said it was a horrible experience, bullied every day. A coworker says the same, he went to high school on the res and had to fight kids constantly.
When i was in the army, the only racism i ever saw was blacks and hispanics who hated anyone who was not like them. I can only rememver meeting 1 white dude in my 46 years who was openly racist.
Yes, and that is one reason why sometimes I am glad I don't have kids.
I think it's fair to say that "modern" women and their toxic empathy are half the problem in this country. It might not be such a bad thing if they start learning some hard lessons the old-fashioned way.
If they refuse to listen, and they can't be reasoned with, then I'm not sure how else they're going to learn.
@@pokiejackson3364 best comment award!. TOXIC empathy is 100% correct. A bleeding heart liberal who foolishly believes her fake compassion will change them. All ❤️ and no brain.
Alternate headline: Slaves set free, Democrats most affected.
They're never going to change.
Just get away from them.
Long Island had a racial integration program to mix kids up from the surrounding towns. I’m sure the school boards were breaking their arms patting themselves on the back for “Solving racism”. I was forced to take the bus to the black school, and subjected to frequent assaults, verbal harassment, and generally terrorized. The staff looked the other way, or left the area when things happened. These attacks went on for the three years I was there, and left deep emotional scars that followed me into adulthood. I wasn’t racist before this experience, but I sure as hell was after it. To this day I’m fearful of black people when out in public.
This is a 100% not a race issue. The only reason it’s labeled as such is because, it’s the simplest answer that doesn’t require accountability
Its 100% a cultural issue........and only one color of people has this culture.
@@AndrewRyan-zv7zb I don't think it is cultural. Culture is the way out. But from what we can see of Africa essentially the tendency of the people is for Polyandrist societies to appear the women fatten their asses and flaunt them drawing in dozens of men who then all sleep with her and compete over her, she winds up having a male harem that causes infighting and society stays in the stone age. Its not something black people are cursed to be but there's a long legacy of matriarchy and polyandry that only goes away through restoration of patriarchy. The problem is the mesmerizing fat asses are nearly irresistible unless discipline in the ranks takes root.
We live in an area of Louisiana that has this problem. The main public school is chaotic and has horrible test scores. The teachers cry at their desk because the students are so animalistic and unteachable and violent. The school built a new building for 8th graders and by the end of its first year, all the window blinds were ripped down and the electrical outlets ripped out of the walls, holes punched in stuff and graffiti everywhere.
There is a charter school nearby that is a 180 opposite in atmosphere. The school is 20 years old but looks brand new. They have some of the best test scores in the state, and the best teachers, who are well paid. The charter school is multi cultural, but every student there got in because of good grades and good behavior. If a student slips up and their grades fall, they can stay as long as their behavior remains good. If they start causing trouble, they are GONE within the week, no exceptions. There is a waiting list to get into that school, and its a free public school, but they are allowed to choose students by test scores.
The local school board HATES the charter school, because all the best students go there and it drags down the public school scores even more when their few good students leave.
But students who actually want to learn and behave well are not obligated to struggle through a violent nightmare of ghetto behavior.
The public school system could have done what was necessary to improve the bad school, but that would have required discipline and they won't do that because it would require the little baby thugs to change their behavior.
wrong. this is a 100% a race issue and it's past time to call it what it is. All people aren't the same and aren't equal.
It's a race issue, quick name successful White countries. Then name successful Black countries. You have your answer.
It's not right to call people racist for wanting to get away from chaos and violence.
Its not right to get offended someone called you racist.
It's all they have in their dwindling bag of propaganda. The problem is that they don't seem to realize that they've been screaming the "R" word so loud, and for so long, that nobody cares anymore.
Agreed. Left wingers just don't like when we notice their behavior.
@@thebenc1537 It's not right to get offended if we call you an NPC.
It's both "not right" morally, and "not right" as in its completely incorrect use of the word.
Their intent was never based on race, and they know it.
Remember people. Pattern recognition is a crime.
They didn't split off because of race, they split off because of the content of their character. 🎉
Let's go, St. George!!! This is only the beginning of counties and cities splitting from Dem controlled cities.
Buckhead in Atlanta did or is going to do the same thing.
Atlanta has been going through this for a few decades now. Lol, but yes "it's only the beginning"
@@justinwilliams2000 buckhead litterally can't w/o a name change. The city of buckhead already exists in Georgia. This debate has been going on for like decades now.
@@justinwilliams2000they’re not gonna let buckhead go. Atlanta is CO Rupttt.
I hope so!
I live in St. George when I called the police, I get the sheriff not BRPD. When I call the fire department, I get St George fire not BR Fire. But East Baton Rouge wants our money but give us no service? Nah. Funk that!
All yall wanted was a school district like Baker and Zachary got to have but Broome and the rest weren’t gonna have it
I bet you they respond a LOT faster than BR departments do since almost all the funding came from St George and not from Baton Rouge.
@@greatleader4841 they do. We once called them for an emergency and they showed up in about under a minute or two. I won’t knock BR Fire or BRPD. They do a decent job but the city funds are just mismanaged. Everyone thinks this has to do with race when it’s really the quality of service we get from the city which is very lacking.
@@PatrickMcCoyJrNah. It’s not everyone that thinks it’s all about race. Just the people who have two brain cells that are both fighting for third place.
