- Hi Friends! Today I will be showing you how to get beachy waves in short hair! This is also a great technique for getting texture in a pixie cut! I hope you learn something from this video on how to curl really short hair! It was really hard for me to find videos when I cut my hair really short so I wanted to share how i style my grown out pixie cut!

Worst hair experience was fully convincing myself that it doesn’t require a ton of skill to cut hair....so I did it. I cut my own hair. With a pair of kitchen scissors. And yes, it’s required a heavy amount of skill. And my ignorant butt learned really quick to never out sharp things near my hair again.

This video is extremely helpful! I have super straight hair and have had short hair since I was 10 and I never learned how to style my hair lol. (In fact, I am kind of shocked how much you have to do to achieve a perfect-yet-natural-looking hair style. ) I still love my short hair - either really short A-line bob (similar to you in the video) or longer pixie. But as you said in the video, sometimes I get bored with my straight hair but never been sure what to do. So, this is a great tutorial! I want to see more on how you style your short hair!!
My worst hair experience is when I went on a date not realizing I hadn’t washed all the conditioner out of my hair in the back! So I had a big greasy spot of hair and didn’t know until it was too late! 😂 Thankfully my date didn’t mind... he’s my now my husband ❤️
I'm a little late to the 🥳, but glad I came across this video. I find it difficult to find videos of curling short hair, because too many individuals interpret 'Short' as shoulder length, so am disappointed 2 minutes into the video!

Your right there aren’t many short hair tutorials to create this look so you better believe I’m going to trying my best to get the hang of it because you looked to cute! Ummm, yes I had the dreaded hair experience of winding up with the bright orange 🍊, it was supposed to be blonde of course! And it was at the hand of a “ professional” too! I was mortified!!! I got short hair too girl I use a hot curling brush it looks just like a brush you comb thur your hair and it has groves on the back of it and it curls my hair
Best experience. I haven't got my hair cut in a long time because it grows soooo slow, it's super thin and I don't ever do anything with it besides straighten it because I've always been self conscious and feel like curls or waves don't come out right. About two months ago I decided to be brave and go to the salon. The girl made me feel so comfortable and with just the minimum styling and about 3 inches cut made a huge difference. I was scared to get it cut that short. Before the cut, it was below my shoulder blade and after it was to my shoulder. But My hair felt so full and looked so pretty!!! It felt really good. I got a lot of compliments... Since then,I can never achieve exactly how the girl styled my hair but it's encouraged me to buy products like volumizers and stuff which i never did before and use the wand a bit more to try to get the hang of waves and curls.

My young native self went into a really nice out of state salon and asked for a trim. Because I was so trusting I never dreamed someone would do that to me. My hair was super healthy too. I still paid but balled my eyes out. I still can’t believe or understand why she did it. I forgave her once my hair grew out some lol. Now I know how to trim my own hair so this never happens again. Your hair gives me so much faith in cute short hairstyles! My worst hair experience was years ago when balayage was just becoming a thing and I asked my hairstylist for it. Unfortunately, she didn’t know how to do it and didn’t tell me so the bottom half of my hair was bleached halfway up (so there was a harsh line from blonde to brown) and the top half of my hair was foil highlighted. Wasn’t cute and I definitely cried about it. Now I know how to research stylists and I’m super picky! ... annnd no more blonde for me for now lol

Worst moment with my hair.. was an awful cut that I got 1 week before my senior pictures. The back of my head looked like a duck butt!! Since then, I have learned never to keep my mouth shut when getting my hair cut.
I love to use a flat iron while curling my hair.. it gives the best type of curls (for my hair) in my opinion

I did my own blond highlights when I was 15 and somehow gave myself a GIANT blond dot on my entire right side halfway down. I managed to do it so perfectly that it was still a freaking dot when I put it up on a ponytail. And so I had to go most of my sophomore year of high school wearing headbands and strategically styling my hair every single day
I colored my hair at home didn't like the color stripped it out put more color on it two weeks later went to the salon got a perm turned my hair too mush had to cut it even shorter to where it was just a spike turned out I really liked it. I've had surgery cut my hair short because I was going to be in a rehab facility.

My worst was back years ago. I was getting a perm, (😒) and I mentioned to the stylist that my hair gets really curly with a perm so I wanted a body wave. Before I could talk anymore about my hair, she basically cut me off. Anyway, she burnt the heck out of my hair, that later on, it started breaking off. 😫

I dyed my hair red (with a box color) once, just to see what it would look like. Biggest mistake of my life. I kept it red for about two months, and it just never looked right on me. It took two long salon appointments and hundreds of dollars to get it back to blonde, and then my hair was in bad shape to boot. 😩 Never again!
My best was when I cut my waist length hair and dyed my ash blond hair into a short platinum blond pixi without it being planned. Shocked everyone! Haha

I have been trying to learn how to do the beachy waves for 3 years now. I have bought so many irons, and have jad my hair longer to shorter. I watch so many you tubes to learn. Everyone does it different but I am still having trouble. So many irons and still no luck. Everyone makes it look so easy so why do I have so many problems. For being a young 67 year old my hairdresser saids I have the best hair. When I was young she used to call my hair poopy hair but not no more. She has been the hairdresser for 40 years now. Maybe a smaller iron would work. Just got my hair cut like yours yesterday.🙂

Worst hair experience I ever had was I went to a salon that I have never been to and got my hair cut and it was totally jacked up! The whole back of my hair was like at a angle so it wasn't even cut straight! Then on top of that mess I dyed my hair myself which was supposed to be Auburn and it turned out to be like a bright red. I looked like a fire truck or Bozo the Clown! It was awful and so humiliating! I was so embarrassed to even go outside until all of it was fixed!

When I was a teenager I wanted to dye my hair a reddish brown. There was a lot less to choose from in the drug store back in the 90s and I picked a brighter color than I'd originally wanted. I rinsed it out after processing and looked in the mirror and saw Ronald McDonald looking back at me. My mom heard me crying and came to see what was wrong. She looked horrified 😨. She took me to Sally's Beauty the next day for help. She never let me dye my own hair again.👱👱👱

My worst hair experience was when i was 16. It was just a month or so before prom and my hair was about shoulder length. I went to my usual beauty shop and a lady who'd been cutting my hair for years and asked for an angled bob. At least i think thats what its called. You know, where its longer in the front and shorter in the back? She cut my hair off above my ears. It was horrible. Absolutely nothing like i asked for. I was devastated. Then i tried to get extensions for prom. Of course that also went horribly wrong lol. They came unglued in the middle of the prom and looked terrible. 😂😂
