Please get keyshawn off the show. Why can you guys not read the comments? He is terrible
He thinks he talks as if he knows everything about basketball. What happens when football comes around? He's gonna think he's the freaking messiah
We not talking that we're talking bout how it's hard to defend them becuz of the shootn passn & dribbln
This is such a dumb debate. Shaq and Kobe averaged 57 points in an era where teams averaged around 90 points per game and they actually played defense. While Shaq missed about half his free throws. This era, teams average around 120 a game and play no defense. Shaq and Kobe the greatest duo ever, and its not even close.
This needs to be pinned 💯💯 people tend to forget
First it’s best backcourt we know shaq and Kobe! 2nd who you seeing scored 120 and not play defense in playoffs
@killa-babynip6421 Please rewatch the video. Paul Pierce clearly said best scoring duo ever. Teams score 120 all the time, let's not play dumb please.
One would think that 61.5 is 'GREATER' than 57, and it's not even close...
@@killa-babynip6421he said best scoring duo regardless of backcourt
Rob Parker somewhere: “WE NEED TO STOP BEING PRISONERS OF THE MOMENTTTTTT!!!”
Kobe and shaq 3-Peated. Lebron and D Wade repeated. They have to prove themselves to be compared.
They’re not saying they’re a better duo
Even Lebron and Kyrie won a ring. Luka and Kyrie haven't.

@@sergnyc8720not talking about rings is all about scoring duo
The best comment on here
Hands down Shaq & Kobe no debating!
No way..... everyone knows it's LeBron & Bronie.
Luka better than both of em
Kobe wasn’t his peak tho. If you talking peak Kobe 05-06. Then yes but that’s not the case
Right... Whose taking this Mavs team over the 3-peat Lakers? Different argument... But still...
They said back court
This is wild AF...
AF!!!!
Facts!
I usually agree with the Truth but Paul Pierce is tripping on this one. Shaq was the most unstoppable force from 1999-2002 and Kobe was the best closer.
Keyshawn surprisingly 100% facts about Steph and Klay backcourt
Shaq, was unstoppable when he got drafted
Stop repeating media phrases like a fkn parrot. Most unstoppable force is a phrase the media and autisticccs like u have been using since 2007. It automatically makes u look like a dumbie
The problem is Kobe is overrated he is not that great
@@gowthamvarmadantuluri6385 don’t ever talk to me about basketball with that statement
Shaq & Kobe were scoring 57ppg in an era where games' final scores were 87-89 lol - i love Ky and ive been rooting for him since the mavs made it in this year but stop the cap
I agree the league was more physical and there were a lot better teams in the Western Conference.
Kobe and Shaq are clearly the best duo ever assembled. They literally started the greatest playoff run of all-time. 🏆🏆🏆 straight
Paul Pierce on fentanyl

Stop it Paul. You stuck in the moment

Keyshawn really said Kobe and DERREK FISHER as a great scoring backcourt. 😂
😂😂😂
Kobe scored so much he just threw Fisher in there somewhere 😂
I looked at my screen like "c'mon key you wylin now" 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Luka and Kyrie are my guys, but come on now y'all trippin!
In 4 or 5 years... they might have a couple chips and then the convo is legit.
They ain’t even win a ring yet
They’ll have one after this season
haven't* won*
“ greatest SCORING duo “ not most accomplished duo.
Right, they may not even get one
only year 2
Kyrie is amazing but he isn't more skilled than Kobe was.
Yes he was. Kyrie is WAY more efficient than Kobe and unstoppable. Kobe is overrated, just look at his percentages. What is he actually better than Kyrie in? Only Dunking, not 3's, not free throws, not fg%, not finishing with layups or floaters, or anything around the rim.
@@gzhen123Kobe was more skilled and he did more for his team. Kyrie was never on Kobe’s level. You’re too young to know. Also, Kobe 3 Peated. He beat tough teams in the West with 50+ win records and he’s holds the record for most wins against 50+ win teams. Kyrie was never on Kobe’s level. Why do you think his mentor was Kobe himself?
@@BlackRoyalty_ I’m born in 1989, how about you? Too young? I saw it all with Shaq carrying Kobe and winning finals MVP. Kobe was only defensively better than Kyrie, everyone knows Kyrie is the most skilled. Sure Kobe mentored him but he doesn’t have better handles and a better bag. Like I said he is a terrible shooter because he takes bad shots and always shoots contested shots. I wouldn’t call Kobe skilled, he’s a black hole and a ball hog. People all forgot before Kobe passed.
@@gzhen123 Kyrie is nowhere near Kobe’s level. He never 3 Peated. Never went back to back. Doesn’t come close to beating 50+ win playoff teams like Kobe has as an NBA record. Doesn’t score like Kobe did. Hasn’t come close to giving consecutive 40+ point games like Kobe has. Hasn’t led Olympic teams to Gold like Kobe has done twice. Hasn’t had any All-Defensive selections. Not even one. Kobe has 12 All Defensive selections with 9 being 1st Team. I could go on and on and on and on and on. Kyrie is nowhere near Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant is at the very least Top 2 All-Time Greatest Player of All-Time and Greatest Laker of All-Time who retired 3rd All-Time Leading Scorer and has 2 Jersey Retired with 2 statues being with his two different numbers as the first player ever in NBA history to have more than 1 Statue built for himself. Nobody has ever done that before. Get real with yourself when you talk about the 5x NBA Champion.
@@BlackRoyalty_ get real? How many people put Kobe above Lebron in all time? Where was Kobe ranked after he retired and before he passed? He was always 6-9 in ranking. How did he get put up there with his terrible percentages and being carried by Shaq and the stacked Lakers team. Of course Kobe is gonna score more points than Kyrie, how many shot attempts has he taken? Let me go find it… he averaged nearly 20-27 shots per game shooting an abysmal 44% average. He also shoots 32% from 3, kyrie shoots 39%. Even free throws Kyrie has got him beat with 89 vs 84.
Since you put Kobe so high up, you must think he is better than Duncan. Before Kobe passed Duncan was ranked higher. The list goes MJ, Bron, Kareem, Magic, Shaq, Wilt, Russel (can be discarded) Tim Duncan, Bird, Kobe etc..
Bron is now cemented #2 all time with his accomplishments. Kobe rode his way to 5 championships so we’re not gonna count those, he never lead the team except with pau gasol. He was never top 5 until his passing, so don’t give me any bs
Last year Skip hated on Luka while Shae Shae was telling him of how great of a scorer he is
This year Skip is in the fanwagon
Kobe and shaq is always gone be #1 in my heart and mind what they did from the perimeter to the post was crazy specially in that defensive era
Steph and KD?
They didn't play as good of each other as Luka and Kyrie. Kyrie and Luka have perfect chemistry.
@@flexermc4333brotha they won Back to Back chips 💀
@@flexermc4333 as of this year true, but it wasn’t so perfect last season. KD and Steph instantly got it together
@@flexermc4333you can’t be serious
Was more of a big 3 including that healthy klay
Shaq and Kobe averaged almost the same as Luka and Kyrie when they didn’t shoot the 3 like they do today
Key always going to hypotheticals.. Lol. 😆
He be ready to argue huh?
Key said Kobe and Fish Patty and Paul started laughing 😂😂😂
Shaq and Kobe were amazing to watch
They have to keep in mind pace. Now teams are scoring 118 points per game. In MJ and Kobe days, teams were scoring in the 90s or low 100s. . Also Kobe and Shaq were a way better duo and it's not even close
They can be the greatest offensive duo without being the greatest. HUGE difference. James Harden and Russ together have the highest PPG but nobody is picking them over Shaq and Kobe. Lived through that era. They were just different.
Micheal Jordan & Scottie Pippen With Back To Back 3 Peats 🏆
They were talking about the "best scoring duo" or "greatest offensive backcourt." Scottie was only good for about 16 to 18 ppg. If they said best defensive backcourt, then thats mike and pip hands down
@@SuperSonic_868Scottie was a front court player anyways lol
Back to back three peat is crazy the goat for real.
@@saiyannamekian8341 Meh, maybe by position but it doesn't apply to how he played. Like skip mentioned, the bulls never had a true point guard. Pip was the "point forward." The second three peat was even more position-less, with 6'6" Harper, 6'6" MJ, 6'7" Rodman, and 6'8" Pippen rotating & putting handcuffs on everything under 7 feet tall. Their only weakness was at center.
How skip rooting for Luka right now is beyond me prior to past episodes with shay shay.
The constant media recency bias is insane
They just live in the moment
Gotta win something first. Kyrie and Luka are extremely elite though. Kyrie is just so effecient and so is Luka on most nights.
No 😂 Shaq and Kobe all day 🏀🏆🏆🏆💪🏽👊🏾😎
Yea pierce smoking fent if Kobe and Shaq go against the timberwolves it would have been a blowout
And they not even counting all Shaq/Kobe Rebounds and def
He’s probably tripping because of the amount of times he got smoked against Kobe and shaq 😂
Being delulu😂😂
@@sergnyc8720that's because defense and rebounding were not part of the conversation. Strictly offensive scoring.
They need to give me some of that lil Wayne left to them or his plug number 😂😂
Right let me hit that after you lol
Shaq and Kobe were the most dominant duo I’ve watched. When they were in sync they were unstoppable
Skip with a handlebar mustache is disgusting work dawg 😂😂
Mavs fan here. Let them win something first.
Steph and Durant averaged 56 in the playoffs together combined 43 percent on 3s and 52 percent from the field , lmfao combined 91 percent from three throws
Stop this and the chemistry was unmatched , they actually made plays for each other
Respectfully Luka and Kyrie aren’t a better scoring duo than Curry and KD
Period
You can say Steph is a better scorer than either Luka or Kyrie. But Klay is not a better scorer than any of them. He’s a better shooter, but not a better scorer.
@@Smallvillefreakare u slow, I said KD and Curry not Klay
@@zackkkk121😆
Keyshawn said he can show us a bunch of games where LUKA has disappeared in the 4th quarter.....
You can clearly tell he doesn't watch Luka play basketball EVER.
Saying Steph disappears in the 4th the same year he won clutch player of the year is crazy
Every player disappears in 4th quarters sometimes. Sometimes shots just don’t hit tf u talkin about
Kobe and Derek fisher 😭😭😭
Derek never even dropped 30 in a game 🤣
Skip used to hate Luka, he's come around.
Steph & KD averaged 52 PPG in 2018 because their style of play relied on passing the ball around. Remember KLAY had to get touches too.
If Steph & KD were trying to not facilitate and score at will, they would've been averaging 60+ PPG together instead of 52.
Backcourt Keyshawn is 100% right Steph and Klay have 4 rings to show for it
The question was about the best scoring duo NOT the most accomplished duo. Having said that, you can indeed make a case for Kyrie and Luka.
Paul is a Laker hater! Shaq and Kobe? Steph and Klay? LeBron and D-Wade? Truth be told told Luka and Kyrie need at least 2 championships together to really be considered a formidable duo!
Shaq in 2000 -2003 was unguardable. People need to go back and watch Shaq in the playoffs during that time period.
The fact MJ is not even on this list speaks volumes about his greatness.
Luka is a scorer and a leader. He has lead a brand new team into the WCF
The handlebar mustache 🤣🤣🤣
People are insane. If Lebron is better than Luka how is Luka and Kyrie better than LeBron and Kyrie? Kills your argument right there. Kyrie avg 22 vs Thunder.
Pump your breaks guys different time and day. This league is in the cupcake era IJS
Prime Kobe, prime mj would take this personally
Keyshawn is the worst. Can’t fathom giving Luka any credit
Over prime Kobe and Shaq? Mj/pippen? Steph/Klay Y'all must've forgot....
Jordan and Pippen were the best in my opinion. They both literally did everything from scoring, passing, rebounding, and defense. But I get the pure offensive backcourt argument.
Facts 💪🏾
Facts 💪🏾
Sorry truth, u lied. Mamba, Shaq. Kobe was still becoming mamba, and Shaq was effortless.
The greatest scoring duo ever was peak Wilt and whoever else was the second highest scorer on his team lol
I’ll take a June 2017 Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant over any pair
Kyrie is actually a mini version of Kobe Bryant , skills clutch and shot making..
He’s not Kobe. Not even close. He’s more comparable to Allen Iverson than Kobe. Kobe was 1 of 1. Nobody comes close to Kobe. Kobe was a two way player. Kyrie is a one way player. That’s a MAJOR difference
@@BlackRoyalty_ Hmm, I can see that comparison too, but wouldn't you agree that Iverson and Kobe were both Jordan disciples? Kyrie may not be a defensive monster, but he is no punk, he's just smaller.. My comparison is on the offensive side, his skills, clutch moments and difficult shot making.. You forget he ACTUALLY TRAINED with Kobe, just like Kawhi, Jason Tatum..
@@brotherrootz1579 to be mentioned in the same sentence with Kobe and Jordan you gotta be a two way player. Can’t have offense without the defense and vice versa. They weren’t the most dominant on the defensive side but they were known for their defense as well as their offense. Players who are just known for their offense are merely one sided players.
@@BlackRoyalty_ do you think Kyrie is a one way player? Are you saying you don’t think he has elite defense? That’s what everyone has been praising. When he wants to stay in front of someone, he is elite
And he is definitely closer to Kobe than he is to Iverson. A mini Kobe like the other guy said. They both can work in the post. Kyrie is smaller, but a lot more efficient. More skilled. Better ball handler. A better shooter.
@@fanboy98 no defensive accolades
Shaq and Kobe it’s not that close. Cmon
They forget about curry and klay
You’re methed out if you think Curry and Klay are the greatest SCORING duo ever.
There are a lot they forgot. Kareem/ Magic. Jordan / Pippen. Etc.
They didnt forget, they simply dont average more per season.@sergnyc8720
They didn't forget, curry and klay not in the picture
I say Kobe & Shaq but back backcourt is tuff
Surprised skip didn’t say Tony Parker and Manu
From an offensive skills perspective, I agree. Individually Luka and Kyrie are two of the best 1 v 1 players Ever. Kyrie in the 2016 Finals was absolutely incredible! He torched Steph and Klay. I highly recommend rewatching his highlight from then.
As far as Luka. He's Phenomenal
Im not gone say whos the best duo but ideally you want a guard/wing and a big man. Like Magic/ Kareem and Kobe/ Shaq. But if you at the scoring output of Elgin Baylor and Jerry West them cats put up insane scoring averages for almost a decade!!!
Finally!!! Mainstream media has something positive to say about the Mavs!!! The disrespect so crazy that I can’t even watch any of the sports shows anymore. Undisputed got it right this time so it’s only right I publicly acknowledge since I bash them every chance I get.
Klay scored 37pts in a quarter, 60pts in three quarters, he was on pace for 80piece in that game! Stop the disrespect, if Klay wanted to average 25pts on a losing team in his career he would, he sacrificed stats for chips. Saying Kyrie is obviously ahead of him is disrespectful
Kobe & Shaq
We just gone forget how Steph and KD ran the league for nearly 3 years outside of KD injury
Curry & Klay the most winningest but the best between Shaq & Kobe & Harden & Russ
Nah… Even IF someday we’ll be able to say it, you can’t really say it right now! Furthermore, I won’t even say that they’re the best offensive/scoring duo in terms of talent and prime play only… and we’ve seen Kyrie at his best (which is amazing), even if Luka still has ways to go.
In terms of overall career, obviously you can’t make that claim.
I’d definitely go with Shaq and Kobe when it comes to career/accolades but also combined level of play together! Then you got KD+Steph and Bron+Wade.
Btw, Jerry West and Elgin Baylor played plenty of years together, while averaging more than 55 points per game combined various times!!… but nobody will mention them, ofc.
Bird and McHale combined for 54 ppg in 1987!
They don’t have the longevity factor, yeah... Kevin wasn’t at his best till like 1985 and then got injured in 1987 never being quite the same again. Larry also was never the same after 1988. Still, even in 1988, Bird averaged 30 and McHale 23 (in 64 games). And obviously, they won titles together!
Kobe scored 81 being triple teamed. Luka scored 70 being no teamed.
Bron and ky were easily rhe best of especially when it mattered most.
Thomas and Dumars won back to back finals MVP’s. No other back court has done this, and it was done during the Jordan Era
People are nuts if they think they're over shaq & Kobe. Shaq & Kobe best duo of all time
“You was at that game” 😂
Calling them the best scoring duo ever after the first full year is WILD.
Luka been the best offensive player for quite some years now, seeing him matchup that well with Kai is scary
Being a one sided player doesn’t mean much when you got two way players like MJ, Kobe, Duncan, Garnett, CP3, Kawhi for example. Luka doesn’t even have any All-Defensive selections and he’s supposed to be the “best” player in the world. The best player in the world plays both sides of the ball at an elite level and it shows.
2002 they played defense, no defense in the league now
We need an current NBA jam arcade game. Luka/Kyrie, Kobe/Shaq, Bron/Wade, MJ/Pippen...Go Mavs!
Ngl i get cringed out, the way Paul Pierce tries to explain himself, and tries to make others believe what hes saying. Charisma level 0. Done with this show lol
Shack & Kobe! Not even close
2024 NBA Stats: Luka & Kyrie 57.4 PPG Mavericks: 117.9 PPG League: 115.6 PPG
2002 NBA Stats: Shaq & Kobe: 57.0 PPG Lakers 101.3 PPG League: 96.9 PPG
BIG Difference.
Jokic and Murray in 2023.
They averaged 56 points and 17 assists combined on 52+ /42+ /85 + splits.
They withstood the pick n roll defenses of Gobert, Jimmy and Bam, and the dpoy defense of AD.
They slashed every defense like it was butter. No weakness offensively in terms of post play, mid range, shooting, scoring and free throw shooting.
Kobe was inconsistent scoring and efficiency wise and Shaq missed half of his free throws, making certain games closer than what they should have been.
2023 Jokic and Murray are the peak offensive duo.
Y’all gotta be out of yall mind. Shaq and Kobe three peated. Mike and Scott three peated TWICE. Lebron and Wade two championships. How is this a topic?
I got kd and Steph, Lebron and Kylie, Kobe and shaq and mj and pippen THEN Luca and Kylie

Shaq and Kobe had a near identical PPG in a much slower pace NBA, not to mention the other clearly superior skills and championships they won that Luka/Kyrie have not together. Pierce is an idiot.
Kobe and Shaq are still the last Duo/Team to 3peat.
All these Big 3 and Super teams couldn’t even accomplish that.
only backcourt: 1.Steph-Klay 2.Isiah Thomas-Joe Dumars and ok, if they win a title Luka and Kyrie ))
Steph is a pure shooter who facilitates; if his shot is off he’s not efficient. Luka is a scorer who can shoot. They sound the same but are drastically different.
I feel like skip doesnt hate luka with the same fire anymore lol
Those 02 lakers averaged 100.4 ppg twitch is 57% of the teams points. The mavericks led the league at 103 ppg to give u an idea of the league then. these mavericks average 117.9 ppg which they average 48.6% of their teams points. The 2019 rockets averaged 117.8ppg so harden and Westbrook scored 51.5% of their teams points. Context matters. These guys and the media in general seem to never give you all the information to fully understand their arguments.
🎯
It's Baylor and west best scoring Duo in nba history hands down everybody act like basketball just started
I respect Kyrie and Luka game but Now that is ridiculous take they have not won anything together yet crazy recency bias
Kd and Kyrie was a scarier duo they just didn’t have a good system didn’t play that many games together
People need to understand that the pace was much slower and the games were much lower scoring back in the Kobe/Shaq era. The games had far less possessions and were more defensive minded.
Harden / Westbrook is the only one close. They have a slight advantage in pts and assists BUT Westbrook only played 57 games (and Harden only played 68). You can't be the best if it's based on 2/3 of the season. Kyrie missed a lot of games this year, but still played 11 more than Westbrook. We'll see how they finish the playoffs (where the numbers are down because of Luka's injury), and then we'll see if they can do it again next year. It's one thing to have a great year, but to really be the best you have to do it repeatedly, even if it's just 2 or 3.
Keyshawn got lost in his own argument
Keyshawn’s argues everything
