I am 45 F, I sing this to myself most days also. It's helping me love my body as is. I tutor little ones and often sing it to them.
My sister in law watches my son (3) and taught him this song. He sings it everyday before nap time. It took me a month before I could sing it without crying. But it is amazing how positive affirmations can change your brain.

I love my body (self hug) head to toes, eyes ears mouth nose (point to parts), mirror (pretend to look in mirror using hands), stand closer (lean into hands slightly), who is that (shoulder shrug), it’s me (point to self), good as good can be (thumbs up), what do I say (self hug again). Former pre-k teacher, this is what I would do!
Then pointing to others when it says I hope that you can too. Maybe some hugs with classmates or self hugs again when it says you’re worthy of your own love and tell ourselves we love us every day

Massive depression, crippling anxiety, and an abusive upbringing made me believe the only love I could possibly be valid in receiving was from someone else after I had been of service of some kind. Writing it out it doesn't seem to convey the sentiment- it feels like inner child healing from all those kids I tried to fit in with... you are the kid I wish I could have asked to play back then!
