It’s difficult to see this after I just found out about him 10min ago on UA-cam. It’s sad but also amazes me. God’s will is perfect but can sometimes be puzzling. Even when his will goes against our own he is sovereign. His prayer is a display of his faith even tho death is knocking at his door. I can sense the fear or maybe it’s my own fear that I sense when looking at him on the hospital bed. But his trust in God is beautiful/powerful.

My grandpa was 71 with cancer. He also prayed for a miracle but at last he saw that it was his time to come Home. So the last week's he was so happy. I'm going home he said with a big smile. I'm going to meet my Lord, my God. I was 12 years old but I would never forget. No fear for death. Trust in Him. He died in peace and I'm sure he is with his Creator!

He was an incredible man, I'm sorry his life was cut short, but he clearly lives on and impacts people so much even years after his passing. Praying his daughter has his courage and gift of passion, debate, wisdom, and speech so she can continue for him.

Answer: The phrase “absent from the body” is found in 2 Corinthians 5:6-8. Paul states that he is confident in his eternal destiny and longs for the day when he can be “absent from the body” and be present with the Lord he loves and serves. To be “absent” from one’s body simply means to die because, at death, the spirit is separated from the body and moves into its eternal abode-either heaven with the Lord or hell, separated from God for eternity.
In the same way, Christians are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the presence of God. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. When a born-again believer dies, his soul goes immediately into the presence of the Lord. There, the soul consciously awaits the resurrection of the body. To the church at Philippi Paul wrote from a Roman prison:
“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you” (Philippians 1:21-24).
Paul’s desire in life was to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. If he lived, he could continue to labor for the Lord. If he faced execution, he would depart this life and be with Christ. He desired to be with his Savior, but if he remained on earth, he could continue to minister to others.
There are some who believe in soul sleep, meaning that when a person dies, his body and soul sleep in the grave, awaiting the resurrection. But if this were true, why would Paul not want to live to minister as long as possible, rather than sleep in a grave? And if it were true that the body and soul are never separated, it would be impossible to ever be absent from the body and present with the Lord.
We conclude, then, that believers who die are indeed absent from their physical bodies and present with the Lord in conscious bliss waiting that grand resurrection day!

I found out about him yesterday on You Tube. I'm glad Christian channels are still spreading his message and feel I should as well. Tears are rolling. I confess it's difficult understanding God's will at times..but, Nabeel is still bringing glory to God's name. He's enjoying the full glory and love of God now. May he reach others through his passing to glory.. Prayers for his family.
We never know when God will call us home. My brother-in-law was one of the finest Christian man ever known. He was killed in an auto accident when his sons were 7 and 11. It's been 25 yrs. His youngest went to one of the best medical schools and is now an ER physician trying to save others, the other, an Accountant with 4 precious little girls homeschooled, taught a Christian education. My sister went back to school and became a Nurse Practitioner. They are helping countless that's unlikely their lives would have taken that path had God not called him home.

I just found about him right now. My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer that metastasized to his brain. I knew there was no hope. I prayed with him the day he passed away. I told my dad “don’t be afraid. Only believe.” He nodded his head in acknowledgment.

It feels like I’m mourning a friend. I just found out about him last week, just finished his audiobook and in his epilogue he mentions that he hopes to meet those who listened to his book one day. So thankful to have heard his message and to still be able to refer back to his content.

Gosh am sad. Nabeel did not die in vain. He glorified God while breathing and he still does even in death. His teachings are still touching people's hearts like me. God called him to win souls for Him. He did exactly that and completed his mission at 34. I am comforted he died in Christ. My condolences to his family. It is well.

United to Christ by faith means you have already died and been raised again with him... the first fruits of resurrection.... and as surely as God has accepted his son, just as surely will he accept all who are in his son, united by faith with him.
Jesus, already resurrected and brought into heaven with the Father *IS* our 100% guarantee.
Nabeel, not wanting to die (death is our last great enemy) has NOTHING to do with his hope of heaven. He had his full faith and trust in God's will for him.... and at this exact moment, he enjoys his savior face-to-face.

I trust in God. I remember when my mother had breast cancer, I knew that if I were to pray for her she would be healed, God stopped me though, He told me that He wants her to come to Him. He gave me a peace and strength that surpassed human understanding, I accepted God’s will and let my mother rest in God’s embrace. God Is Good, death for us Christians is not the end, for Our God conquered death, praise be to His Holy Name, Amen.🙏
Same with my sister and Nephew who died from cancer 2 years apart Jesus give me the assurance that sometimes the miracle is not the extension of someone life especially when they are saved through him but the miracle is taking them out of this world. Only God knows the reason he allows what he allows. I alway sense my sister might have backslide back to her former lifestyle. And too me it’s not the length of life u live here on earth but the quality of how you used your life for God purpose. What’s the use of living a long life if in the end you still reject God salvation through Jesus

I just found out about Nabeel & his story today. Thank you, God, for him & his courage to share his story.
It’s easy to wonder and question as to why God would take Nabeel at such a young age when he had so much more life left to live. However, one must remember that God did so much through Nabeel while he was alive. He spoke many sermons, participated in many debates, and served God diligently. Of course he could have lived for much longer, but we should always remember what he did while he was still living. RIP Nabeel Qureshi, God bless you all!

I am blessed to have had him visit my church in Hudson, Ohio, long before he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. His testimony was amazing! May he be in perfect peace and joy with the Lord!

A miracle did happen...Nabeel was taken from life of pain and suffering. Leaving is difficult when he had a small child, loving wife and family, and no doubt he wanted to continue to reach people with his witnessing...The Lord decides some need not suffer any longer and call them home.

Sweet, precious brother in Christ. I followed his journey with his illness... but I still have not been able to bring myself to listen to this final prayer. Maybe someday. I am glad he's with the Lord. I couldn't bear to see him suffer any longer. And that's just the bits he chose to put on camera. He suffered much more than that.
But it's still so heartbreaking, especially for his little girl. She cannot comprehend what is happening.
