I'm new to using the Dixie Bell. I must say I love how nice the consistency is. I redid a large dresser by staining the top black and painted in Black Sands. The contrast between the two I wasn't happy. The Black Sands has a blue hue in certin light. So I ended up painting the rest in Anchor. I love the outcome. Came here to see how the wax works. Love your piece. Thank you for sharing.

Replay, do you need tonseal the wax afterward?

Hi! You can an additional Clear Coat or Gator Hide afterwards if you'd like extra protection. However, wax will seal and protect the paint work so its not necessary :)

If I've used Silk all in one, wax accents, and still want a shinier finish, can I still use a topcoat?

Hi! As long as you’ve used a water based wax like Best Dang Wax then you can apply a water based top coat over. If you’ve used an oil based wax then you can’t add a water based top coat over that. Hope that makes sense! 🙂
