The joy of his first flight, how many have forgotten the pleasure of that. Have a beautiful time!
Well, when you're a normal sized human being and don't have anxiety and overall you are just a happy person, sure, flights can be wonderful!
As a 6'5 guy with anxiety and ADHD and back/neck/knee issues... My flights SUCKED! Hahaha.
I remember my first flight well but it wasn’t at all joyful. I was flying back home with my brother. My family had driven up for a long vacation and this was our first really big vacation. Also there was a wedding. My dad ended up having a massive heart attack at the reception. After a few extra weeks, my brother had to go back to college and I had flown back home with him, while my mom and sister stayed back with my dad who was still in a coma. It was very hard. I was a young teenager yet and stayed with my grandparents after my brother left. Thankfully I had more flights in my life that were more exciting.

I'm so glad he got on. My heart broke for him when he didn't have it. When you don't travel a lot sometimes the most simple things everyone understands are new (not saying he didn't know about boarding passes, it is just making me reflect and reminisce). When I was 23 I went to Beijing, China to study for 4 months at one of the Universities there. I had flown before, but as a little kid and with my parents... So being an adult and flying international first time... I got to my plane 25 minutes before take off and the doors were closed and they wouldn't let me on. Missed my flight. I just really didn't know. I saw that boarding was _at_ a certain time, but I didn't think they would close the doors more than 25 min before the time on the ticket and not let people on after that. I just did not know. It was devastating for about 2 minutes worrying about what I was going to do, and then luckily some people helped me and got me on another flight that had a layover but got me to Beijing on time for when I needed to be there. Just.. glad he got on the flight. Traveling is so fun and gives you such a new perspective on life.
