If sinclair was supposed to get a prosthetic when he turned 18, and someone isnt allowed to become a fixer until they are 21, its pretty safe to say that sinclair had some amount of time in the backstreets(or at least using his familys money as it wasnt going anywhere else) before ending up in the bus.
In Limbus's trailer, Demian's actually right in front of all those people highlighted in blue (including a scythe wielding individual), so affiliated people are probably going to start popping up in other stories

Well, you have to remember, this is in a Nest. Sinclair is extremely sheltered by the City's standards. The fact that this is happening at all openly inside a Nest just proves how things have gone to shit in the City.
Yeah, definitely not smart, but if he hadn't allowed Kromer into his basement he would have also been murdered in the attack and Kromer might not have ever seen the vision of Sinclair as The One who Shall Grip. I have read Demian the book recently and it is good to see that in pm universe there is enough paralelity that you can see this is sinclair(especially some dialogues and events directly from the book) from the book and enough difference that he fits the universe and deviates from the book to tell a unique story they are fucking genius

He's that first day on the job nugget who needs to cuddle this therapy skull before he's ready to move on to anything else.
Man this level had me concerned because of the "Everything There" of N Corp Knights sounding like a Nothing there, and the setting of the last fight being Mountain of bodies, (thinks of Mountain of Smiling bodies) And now i get why Sinclair was scared, he might have seen Nothing there in the basement-
Maybe N Corp was actually saving humanity. The prostetic is clearly abnormality and it spreads like wildfire. Kromer&Co. just tried to stop the spreading with only way they can think off. It is most likely referencing Nothing There since it also tried to become a representation of humanity, which is what Kromer is trying to do here by collecting all the fleshy human bits and rejected mechanical augments. Also it’s because abnormalities in nature are a symbolism (collective human mind of an idea materialized) of events that happens in the past present and/or future. Not really sure if what Sinclair seen in the basement is Nothing There though
he might have seen [CENSORED]'s actual form since the symptoms of seeing it fit with what he has (never truly being able to forget, sheer horror, etc.)
There's a few people who have noticed some similarities between Demian and Enoch, which is why you might have thought he was familiar. I am not sure how I feel about the theory that they are the same person somehow, but a few of the lines that Demian says during the flashbacks are almost identical to some of the ones that Enoch says to Lisa in the Lobomoty Corporation flashbacks. The lines being the same holds up in multiple languages too, so it's obviously intentional. No idea what conclusions we are supposed to draw from this for now though, he's the most interesting character to me by far. It was also interesting to watch you play through chapter 2, because some of the stuff that Sonya says to Rodya about some of the sinners having "the mark" and a child visiting them soon suddenly made a lot more sense.
My first thought was the Library but I think it’s actually because of the Light somehow, maybe because Carmen felt guilty enough to continue Enoch’s existence in some way. Although this flashback could be before white nights dark days and I’m completely wrong.

What many people mistakenly don't realise, is that by defeating Kromer, we haven't defeted the N Corp. The N Corp is damn corporation with it's own singularity, and we still don't know much about it. But "The one Who Grips" wasn't the leader of this cult, but rather, she was just someone who massively helped them out, with providing them to the golden bough. There are still many questions left unanswered i feel like. All of that was also just a small section of all the N Corp's influence.

The reasons given for why we’d replace the full body forget some basic things like that not needing to sleep creates a whole new joyous world of overworking yourself or that it’s kinda useful how minor injuries fix themselves even if slowly. When the drive is efficiency I wouldn’t be surprised if the belief that this technology would be revolutionary and see mass adoption made him forget about the uncanny valley and just generally the way people respond socially rather than logically If you think you’re going to change the world it’s easy to forget the emotional responses that don’t match your own
While I'm not 100% sure about this I think this was explained in Library of Ruina that the Head forbids humanoid prosthetics. Like the Gaze Office (from LoR) also has pretty wonky prosthetic heads as well! EDIT: I tried looking this up and found a Steam community guide on the entire lore of LoR. From what it says, "...the Head [established] the Artificial Intelligence Ethics Amendment Act, which stated that no machine or AI would have any resemblance to humans, including full-body mechanical replacements." So yeah! The reason why the prosthetics look kind of wonky/inhuman is because they aren't allowed. (For more info you could look up "Library of Ruina Hook Office Scene 1" and skip to the post-battle dialogue)

I wouldnt said Kromer is a hero but i do see where their vision come from. I understand using prostetic for missing limb but replacing your body for prostetic simply becausr it was conveniant oh hell nah
