thank you Jiji! I don't understand the comment about length though... the set itself is exactly the same, all I changed is the way it sounds. There's a comparison link in the description that demonstrates this

@@pyanek thank you.... yes, but I thought you might have speeded up or slowed down parts, repeated, cut.... (not knowing anything about music, or the technology). I'll check your link thank you. and get back to you when I've listened to the remaster...

@@pyanek so..... rather than being 'programmed' in any way by the comparison, i first listened to this remaster (whilst doing my morning stretch/move/dumbells session). since I don't have some sort of audio-eidetic memory of the original (which I listened to yesterday) all I have are my impressions (which is true of everything in life, MY view). all-in-all I felt your version is (even) more minimal than the original, and softer somehow, ethereal. the thing that struck me most is that Anna's voice seems clearer, and more 'isolated'. I love both versions! then I listened to the comparison but couldn't actually discern much (audio only) but then I happened to look at the screen and saw your notations: original, remaster (intriguingly done, the back-and-forth audio transitions)... without those, and even with them actually, I didn't find a huge difference. it must take much time and concentration I suppose, to do this sort of thing. did you, on listening to the original, think 'I'd like to do this, tweak that, change that"... or is it very much a spontaneous process. JIJI Xx

@@jiji1946 Hi JIJI, thank you very much for your comment :) I love the way you described everything, I feel it pretty much the same way. In essence the intention was to make everything clearer and more intimate in a way, so that you feel like you're there listening to it live. The process was both spontaneous and me specifically wanting to do something, in the sense that I knew I wanted it to sound a specific way but didn't really know how, so I was essentially improvising while doing it. Also, the differences in the comparison video are much more noticeable depending on the type of headphones or speakers you use, as well as the volume, the higher the volume the better.
