Beautiful video! Excellent original art, I love how mesmerizing and meditative your work is, it reveals so much about the hidden world and captivates the imagination, for instance, the screw looked like a walkway on a tower in a fantasy world, I love it.
Amazing video! It deserves to have many more views. I like the slow pace. It gave me enough time to try to guess, then after I was told what it was, it gave me enough time to really appreciate and soak in what I was looking at. Anyway why does everything have to be so fast paced anyway? It doesn't hurt to take the time to really appreciate the world around you.
Awesome video man, it really gave me a whole new vision of the world I had never experienced before :) By the way, I think the music is really well chosen, in my opinion ^^ I love it
This is awesome! I like the ominous music, a suggestion is to maybe speed up the vid slightly, moving on shortly after showing the name of the object as it can be a little boring staring at one thing too long. Anyway, liked, favourited and subscribed! ;)
Thanks! I will definitely make a follow up video, and would love to get suggestions from everyone, through the facebook page and this comment section :)
Thanks! I don't really have a setup, it's all improvised for each individual take: piles of books & other stuff to keep the object at the right height and position, natural light coming from the window and for a couple of them an ordinary table lamp. I don't have a rack or any special lights, I did the stacking by literally moving the lens with my hand, taking a photo, moving it again, taking another, then joining them with the software. Yes it's not as precise and it takes a lot longer, but it's what I have and for me it worked really well. Also, most of the pictures are just one take, without any stacking. Hope that helps!
Amazing work! I've tried some macros before with a macro adapter but never with a reversed lens (and never this awesome!). Will you tell other aspiring and budget-conscious photographers what focal length and aperture you used? Were you able to use the focus ring or did you move the camera back and forth to change focus? Thanks again for your inspiring work!
Thanks!! Focal length was almost always 18mm (which gives you the closest possible image on the kit lens I have, 18-55mm). Aperture between f3.5 and f8, but I can't remember precisely as I changed it a lot! sorry! :)
+Andrew Tyrell Thanks!!! All photos are long exposures with natural light coming from the window, though a couple were lit with a small lamp and one with a led flashlight for effect. No flash at all :)
May I ask what lens you use? I have some extension tubes but I haven't been able to get such great image quality. Fantastic photos. I hope you make a follow up
To say worlds within ours would indicate that each pictures is a world, a place of creating, living things, ect... none of these are worlds, they are just close-ups
OK thanks. And if I make the video with your music, or bits from it, of course I will mention the source! Thanks and I am curious about your other music. Best regards..................................
It was one of those with a yellow and a green side. An average basic one, as far as I remember. I suppose the way they look might change depending on the quality and specific materials used to make them.
Lol, I tried to do the same. I've read your replies to others to have a basic ideea of how you did it. Let's just say that my match stick looks like a dick on STD :p It's incredible the amount of work you've put in this. I mean, when I read that you're using Canon T3i (600D/Kiss X5) with the kit lens reversed, I thought that this wasn't going to be much of a hassle to do it myself with Nikon 3200. Clearly, I was wrong. Still, I'm glad I've found your artwork. I'm definitely going to improve my skills in time and hopefully achieve the level of quality you're doing. Thank you.

I first thought that these photos should be taken with very good macro lenses but its really impresive that you used reversed kit lens . Good job!

Cool vid. But here is a suggestion, make the images go by quicker please. Thanks
You can change the speed of a youtube video under settings above video quality
i liked it, it was relaxing and gave you time to really look at the photo
hover over the time bar and you can see where the pics change
NotReloaded There's a paus3 button for that : P
Tails19935 there is time so you can have time to know the thing

It was interesting but I couldn't pay attention long enough cause it took like 3 years for each one. Just a suggestion, make it a bit quicker.

VINE POR! UN POCO DE TODO!!
Could you post a photo of your set-up. How are you lighting and how are you stackng? Not the software, but are you using a rack mount? Great work!

pyanek Thank you. You are successful because you are inspiring us to try this. I was never interested in macro before. So thank you!
I felt like the video was supposed to have a scary undertone, like there's mini assassins living in your lipstick and hiding in apple stalks.
Really cool video.
Boi
in 2x sounds so spooky
totally! it warps the sound in weird ways...
Awesome.
Dude this is so cool
Great music!...
cool makro view..

Thank you very much. Very beautiful.
Great images. How do you light them? Constant light? Flash?
+Andrew Tyrell Thanks!!! All photos are long exposures with natural light coming from the window, though a couple were lit with a small lamp and one with a led flashlight for effect. No flash at all :)
Thanks for this video /Gracias por este vídeo

Awesome.
And what is this ambient song that kept playing? It is amazing.
Oh it's on the video description. hahaha nevermind
This is nice, you can also see awesome Macro video in 4K by Izik Nox
What is that hypnotic music?
amazing, say tnk to vsauce!
Awesome ! :)
What did you use to reverse your kit lens? Your images are wonderful!
Pues todos vinimos de un poco de todo
Very nice video. One suggestion - don't put words at the bottom of the frame as it is sometimes covered by the UA-cam bar at the bottom.
May I ask what lens you use? I have some extension tubes but I haven't been able to get such great image quality. Fantastic photos. I hope you make a follow up
Yes! It's the kit lens (18-55) from Canon T3i, but reversed. You can find lots of info about reverse lens macro :)
Awesome! I have that lens, and a reverse ring for a smaller thread size. I'll look I to reversing the kit lens
Nice!
How about the music? Did you make that? It is great!
Thanks!! Yes, I made the music :)
i love how the pube on the keyboard comes into focus in the last frame haha
6:30 I have the weirdest hunger right now.
wow i was thinking it was done with a microscope, what lens were you using ?
Amazing
:)
wow !
more please!!
please make more of these.

thx u for the link w archive.
What kind of lenses did you use to achieve this?
It's the camera's kit lens (18-55mm) but reversed using a reversing ring ;)
What kitchen sponge looks like this?
It was one of those with a yellow and a green side. An average basic one, as far as I remember. I suppose the way they look might change depending on the quality and specific materials used to make them.

buen video, yo una vez hice un microscopio con una lente de in laser y la camara de mi celular, funciono bien
Grain of suger was awesome
What did you use to get such closeups?
Hi! I used the kit lens (18-55) from Canon T3i, but reversed :)
Ah ok thanks! I got a Canon too. Never realized you could do such great pics with it!
I missed the ending putting my own eye millimeters over the X-Key :)
good shit
Don't watch this at night, the music will make you sleep
why was there a pubic hair on the keyboard x key .
Any hair is automatically pubic hair?
Alec Mullet
you can not prove other wise but the real answer is to get thumbs up and a laugh from other
Fapping. Obviously.
Serious answer: That hair is way too small to be "normal" bodyhair. It's probably something else entirely.
