Ustad Amir Khan - Raag Vachaspati (Live in Concert)

- Ustad Amir Khan presents a composition set in Teentaal. If not its pure form, Khansaheb presents his own interpretation of "Raag Vachaspati" which originates from the Carnatic Classical Music. In its original form, it has “Teevra Madhyam” and “Komal Nishad”. The uniqueness of Khansaheb’s rendition is in the complete absence of "Dhaivat" and "Rishabh". Although he did not name this creation himself, music critics and musicologists came up with the name "Amir Khani Kauns".
This recording is a part of an undated live performance and has been made available purely to promote Indian Classical Music.
To the best of my knowledge this is Khabsaab's own composition declared as untitled raga.one of his best renditions. Regards to Khansaab.!
Amir Khan Saheb, the inimitable! 🙏🙏🙏
This raaga created by ustad Amir Khan sahab 🙏🙏🙏
Amir Khani Kauns is appropriate classification, one can listen multiple times and yet reaches the same conclusion ultimately by naming it as Amir Khani Kauns . Thanks Ritwik for uploading a rare gem.

It is Wrong Labelled
Thank you for letting me know. Could you share the correct name so that I can change the title of the video accordingly?
Dear Mahendra ji, I tried to look up more about the adaptation of Raag Vachaspati in the system of North Indian classical music and found out that the presented upload is indeed Ustad Amir Khansaheb's interpretation of Raag Vachaspati. Along with Rishabh, Khansaheb also avoids Dhaivat in the Avaroh, making it all the more difficult to classify it as "Raag Vachaspati", as the field of musicology has studied it. This is Amirkhani kauns. Its same as vachaspati the only difference is that it omits rishab in both aroh and avroh and has a pentatonic structure. Vachaspati has rishab in avroh. It was created by ustad ji himself like some other raags chandramadhu, maru kalyan etc.
I think it's Saraswati
@@chimiamb no it is amirkhani kauns
