In a way, that film "exists". It's called Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow. It's mediocre overall, but the green-screen effects, 30's setting and air battles give huge Crimson Skies vibes. In my opinion, that movie should had been the Crimson Skies movie, but it's obvious that wasn't going to happen.
It wasn't until I played XIII and, dead to rights on GameCube. And then the uncharted series Long after. I felt the same sort of wonder and majesty And enjoyment Of a true pulp story That I felt when I played crimson skies. The Concept is so basic. Just a good guy. Doing what needs to be done to get by only way they know . And yet the situations that are thrown into so fantastic an amazing. And how they handle it as though it's nothing more than an average Saturday morning. It's just a magic very few games can accomplish. Also I can see a lot of nathan Zachary in nathan drake. Almost as though zach inspired drake. They both were looking for the treasure of francis. Both of them were Daring explorers and adventurers. Both of them considered by many others to be pirates and criminals. But both of them are very good men. Two different styles of game play. Flying simulator. And third person shooter. But the spirit of pulp. It makes the To seem like zach And drake could almost be Brothers. Or even perhaps multivers Versions of what the other could be.
It's about time they made a film based on this game.
That's a great idea!
TV Series would probably be better :)

Watch planes
Man I miss this game. Needs a remake.
I think High Road to Revenge is supposed to be precisely that remake. What would be great is either a third game or a remaster of both classic titles.
Damn I still remember this damn old game.
Netflix could easily make this into a TV series
Could be sick but they would make a political thing out of it which would ruin it
But would it be any good?
I don't think they could pull it off, without change all the races, add genders and rewrite the story to be about submarines fighting instead.
Diversity isn't political. It's realistic.
And there's enough gals piloting in this game, it'd be fine.

11:32 I dont think the developers properly thought through that headline.....
I never knew this game had a prequel.
