Mate. That disc had so much life left in it 🤣. My boss once told me "you wouldn't throw away a dollar" and it's stuck with me ever since. 😂😂😂. I love the idea. I might do this myself. Our trampoline is about to meet it's end of life and I was wondering what I should do with it. Seems like such a waste to throw that steel away. Keep up the good work -aaron-australia

The discs get to be a safety hazard as they wear down. I'd rather replace the disc than pay for a hospital.

No weld, just friction. Can disassemble easily.
Self drilling screws will hold the pieces together and keep them from falling apart or twisting
