I’m so happy you acknowledge the peak fiction made in abyss has become. Despite the author being creepy lol the storytelling, to its world building and godlike music has made it become one of my favourite anime of all time.

Yeah it can obviously be weird at times but the actual content of the series is great. Sad the manga is only a slight bit ahead so it'll be a while for s3

I don't know why people hate on riko so much , she's by far my favourite character in made in abyss even though i like faputa and bondrewd a lot riko just takes it , she's literally did so many things more than nanachi this season and she's one of the most insane and strange MC out there

My main issue with her is that her character archetype just doesn't fit everything around her. A character who doesn't really change in any meaningful way being the main character of a coming of age story just doesn't really work well. Reg, Nanachi, and Faputa all fit the mold while Riko is just used as a reason for the story to exist.
