Since they focused on one idea, I don't think the positional play is too suspicious.
@@jaideepshekhar4621 yeah that's because their opener wasn't great. They didn't get suspiciously good until mid game, when they had time to consult an engine
If u are tired u can lose against a chess beginner. Im 2300 rated and lost tired against 906 rated Player yesterday. But some alk i had also.
Statistically zero chance you can lose to a 900. He was cheating, just like the 1100 here.
seems to me that the 1100 player had a very good coach

There is a wonderful honesty to the first game in this episode. Every good teacher learns from their student. Levy was honourable to his student/opponent and open to the audience in terms of his thought process. These are gifts from a deeply talented player and teacher.
Levy empathizing with us 1100s is a testament to the human condition
I like this a little softer video. Matter of taste of course and I enjoy almost every video you put up on UA-cam but this one I found really pleasant to watch.
I am sorry, but that guy at 1100 Wolf3213 was totally cheating half the game
this is my favourite series! thank you for all the instructive content Levy
That first game was insane
So happy you are doing educational content. I know you said you don't get the same views as the recaps but we appreciate it. Also let's be real according to your guess the elo videos your subs need it.
The game against the 1100 looked like one of my games. Especially when you took the pawn on e3 with your bishop that was defended by his queen. I do that mess all the time! The only part that didn’t look like one of my games was that you still won.
Levy: "Here's how to win at chess"
Also levy: (flags 1100)
the 1100 performance was More Than Impressive
He cheated, clearly.
@@vladimirgertner3960 1100 just paid attention, it was pretty much even and then levy blundered
@@uwuLegacy 1100 can't keep it even like that. You clearly don't know what 1100s can do. If he can play like that, he would be 1900 in 25 games, tops. The only way he wasn't cheating was if it's a new account, so he still ldidn't climb to his skill level.

Do you think you could beat Hikaru if you could watch the eval bar at all times (but not the moves)?
I'm curious on how much it'd matter to know the computer evaluation of a position for high rated players.
In first game levy's opponent was chilled. He had 1 minute left on the clock and he was moving like he had whole life to play a move.. 😏😏

When you do these games, you should post them with a brief commentary on Chessly! It would be a very cool feature
Facts Rondi
i used to lose to 1100s all the time but i traded my beats by dre for some beads by hans and tripled my elo 💪💪💪
YT: Wow, good job, you beat levy !
Twitch : STOCKFISH CHEATER
21:44 :I got so shaken up that my opponent hadn't made a mistake and I totally malfunctioned" Yep I do that to Levy 😅😅
this series is amazing!!
at 15:21 what's wrong with the move rook takes rook then the queen takes the rook and knight takes knight and now the material is equal?
First opponent was cheating and when he saw he was winning with 40 secs on the clock he started playing his moves and hung 2 pieces
Der Wolf im Schafspelz. 😉
Hi! I’m not fantastic at chess but at 54:36 can black do knight to a5 safely to protect the bishop and attack the queen, giving them their line of sight back? That gives them time to reinforce the bishop on b7 and keep their plan somewhat steady right?
I'm in you boat, no great myself but yes I think. Then white goes e4, then maybe by e5 to bring the attack onto the ohe black knight 🤔
Hey Gotham. An Idea for a NEW SERIES. Twitch vs UA-cam. Have a weekly series where each sub from each platform must play the Opening of your choosing and see which side dominates. Have a reward like 50% of courses for the winner. Just an idea. It would be highly entertaining with your Gotham-Like commentary. Just an idea.
Playing top engine moves and suddenly hanging pieces in time trouble is a huge red flag honestly
Game 1 is truly Guess the elo worthy. “Black plays like a 2000 then started blundering like a 3 digits” if it were there I’m sure haha.
This means we are on the same level, I also have lost to 1100s. And 700s
How terrible can you be to loose to 700 do you know how knight move? How many steps does pawn takes at once for a start my guy

Something tells me that the 1100 is only 1100 because they don’t think about their moves as much in regular games.
Ok, lets not beat around the bush, the first game, the 1100 was using assistance. They waiting 10 seconds before making obvious moves, and when he moved fast, he made clear blunders.

Gotham... Levy "TheRoz" Chessman, how on earth did you LOSE TO AN 110?? THATS LIKE LOSING TO A BABY
wait nvm he won.. the guy was up 7 points so I though he would have just closed it out MY B.
Damn bro I'm higher rated than that 1100 and he almost beat Levy... gives me some new confidence xD
bro first gme was nuts
Levy i’ve seen rosen’s video of him playing duck chess and it was hilarious, maybe you could also make one if you have the time, I’d love to see it.
Yes, I will totally sub to Chessly after that first game
There's NO chance that guy's true rating was 1100....1500+ for sure
I once played a super strong 900 down to an endgame i was losing. He blundered thank god. He had a ton potential i hope he keeps playing.
He didn’t play good you just suck

35:55 little details of live that makes live great!!!
I’ve been playing chess for fun and had furiously avoided any real study, but after hearing about some of these concepts so much by you I’ve solved some big weak points and my online ranking has shot up. Thanks!
When you watch Levy playing and you say “boss, what’s going on?” But then you remember getting nerfed in 12 moves the other day and rage quitting.
Hi Levy, would you entertain a possibility of a poll on what next opening courses you should do?
If game 1 was in gte Levy would probably guess 12-1300 but then pull the rating down to 8-900 because of the bishop hang by himself
What happened to that 1100 is what happens to me, I can get a completely winning position on a much higher rated player and then just lose my mind at the end and lose.
@GOTHAMCHESS you could have a chess challenge where you are not allowed to play any move that is recommended by the chess engine. Could be quite fun
27:01 The dining reference for castling. Amazing

It's so funny when levy calculates a bunch of different options and then after going over a trap he can set he asks, "What is my opponent thinking about?" as if there's only one move to play lol.
Please continue this series it helps a lot
12:40 lmao you said that right as you became worse
I love this series ! Also, I have started the E4 NY style course on Chessly and man I love the new site. The drills are helping me so much ! Thanks for updating the course Levy !
Levy’s beads must’ve slipped out on the first game.
This is the first time I’ve seen the chessly GUI and it looks sick. Great work and content as always Levy!
Levy love the videos! Quick thought! I’m an audio engineer and a desser would go so well with that mic!
It's not every day that you see an 1100 beading Levy...
this series is great. please upload more of these
