Sea Trout Fishing From Boat - Chasing Silver On Shallow Water!

Sea trout fishing is normally a thing done from the coastline. This is super effective, but we have done something different, and even more effective! We are gonna fish the sea trout from boat. It's winter, and the trout collects in schools at the shallows. Super exiting and visual fishing, in the clear water. We are talking about the best lures and a lots of tips and tricks.

Is there no closed season for sea trout in Denmark. When do they spawn?

They spawn in the rivers from around november-january. FIshing in the rivers is closed from 16th of November to 15th of January. However, you can fish seatrout all year round on the coastline. In the period mentioned above, coloured seatrout must be released (coast).

@@malthewislerjohansen669 Interesting. Ireland closed season September 30( a few places run to October 12) and fish spawn from mid-October onwards (a month earlier than you?) . All done by December and season opens again on a few rivers on Jan 1 but salmon target species not trout.
I've caught fresh sea trout on lures in Lough Currane on opening day Jan 17 and we know that they move in and out of the lake into the bay all year.
Not many fish for sea trout in the sea but often a bycatch of bass fishing. Regulations mean that the rules for the river basin you're in dictate the season. So if the river you're nearest too closes on September 1, you can't fish for sea trout in the sea after that date.
Some have success with fly and lure but sea trout mostly river and lough sport. Your vid offers possibilities. I know of a few places near where I fish where your tactics would work

Fishing for seatrout in Denmarks best river Karup Å is closed from 1st November until 28th of february....
