- Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane says the police and locals must work together to nab those responsible for the killing of five people in Bityi last night. Mabuyanse says it is also important to crack down on illegal guns in the province. Mabuyane says he's concerned about the level of violence in the province.

This is the first time that I see premier Oscar speaking out on tv regarding the killings in the E.C. You never see or hear from him regarding the challenges in our province. The E.C. is the forgotten province we are being pushed aside & ignored for as long as I can remember.
