The uk says its illegal but they provide insurance for non dentist teeth whitening service
What about the state of Georgia? The law here says anyone offering services can be charged with a felony. It does not have any fine print about the types of gel you may use.
I have , and have several students in Georgia actually! And if you do a search online you’ll see a lot of teeth whitening businesses in the are :-) sometimes it’s hard to get the correct information I know
In CA according to the California Dental Association. We are not allowed to apply anything to the mouth. We can hand them the supplies and guide the client through the process. I am a retailer of whitening products and I rent out my professional blue LED light. If anyone asks 😉
That’s the self administration method but you can do others as well as a teeth whitening technician :)
8 need clarification on this. So in California can we do teeth whiting or only the self administration method
@@daisynails5441 only the self administered method . But when they ask what the process is, " it's a simple gel application, a little barrier for the gums, and hang out under the blue light". I know a lot of people still apply the gel themselves. I don't, I have a hater by association and I don't want the board to shut me down

Hi regulations vary by state, but in Arizona, Teeth Whitening treatments are not regulated by the Dental State Board.

It’s very hard to find accurate information on whether or not it’s legal for me to do so without being an RDA or working for a dentist? Also what the regulations would be as far as having the business in an establishment or can I only do it from my home? Would you mind giving me some insight please? Great informative video thank you! For those of us in Canada, what would be the max HP% in gel that a non dental pro can use? If an RDH is doing whitening on the side as well do you have to do ADPIE with every client across the board even though you’re only completing whitening and nothing to do with a scaling procedure? It’s not illegal to teach a person a class on whatever it is your an expert in but it’s against the law on a state level to preform such whitening procedure Under state law, only registered dental professionals may perform professional whitening services. Any unregistered providers are not permitted to apply bleaching agents, nor are they permitted to activate bleaching agents with a curing device. Don’t rely on UA-cam or Google searches call the board of dentistry to find out if it illegal on the state level which most states are
It’s really sad how these type courses have become so successful that an expert like yourself try and find loopholes and language to make your students feel as though it’s legal without any accredited license but hey your not doing anything illegal so get your money by all means 🤷🏾♂️
