World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the upcoming seventh expansion set in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following Legion. It was announced at BlizzCon 2017 on November 3, 2017. It became available for preorder on January 30, 2018, and will be released on or before September 21, 2018.
The expansion will raise the level cap from 110 to 120, introduce the Kul Tiras and Zandalar continents, add dungeons and raids, add warfronts (20-player PvE mode against opposite faction NPCs), add uncharted islands, and introduce three allied races for each the Alliance and the Horde.
Head to the frontlines and take part in a large-scale 20-player cooperative Warfront to claim a key strategic location. Build up your faction’s forces, lead the charge as your troops lay siege to the objective, and battle the enemy commanders as they make their last stand in this new PvE mode inspired by classic Warcraft RTS battles.

I like him too. Bwonsmadi is honesty a great representation of death. Mysterious in his actions and intent. Not really liked a lot, but fulfills a vital role in life and society. Can also sometimes have a wicked sense of humor

Xæthron technically his bloodline ends with Talanji. Her children will be of her husband's family and bloodline.
Eric Barlow her bloodline will continue if she has a child, regardless of what name her child carries, talaji's dna would still be a part of her child hence the continuation of her bloodline. Whilst her husbands name might be the one the kid carries it doesn't change his/her dna and would therefore remain connected to the deal with bwonsamdi :)

My opinion is this because we dont see that Arthas talking. His mouth is covered behind shadow of his arms. And when he stands up, animation nothing look like he was talking just before. If you played w3 campaign, you can see that Arthas is fighting against scourge, and fighting himself for suppress his insanity. When he entered Castle and kneel before Terenas, he didnt talk. Sword talked and relaxed Arthas, gave courage to him for killing his father. Crown means throne there. Not coronet. Also people are always typing your comment. So please lets dont argue about it. It is my opinion. I dont say it is fact.

At this point, Blizz has run out of original content and inspiration. Nowadays, like other long running franchises, it's mostly call-backs and rehashes of older events.
Horde: "Something something lost honor something something"
Alliance: "Something something revenge/faith something something"
Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if Blizz decides to resurrect Arthas like they did for Medivh and Illidan.

Actually I like to think that due to Rastakan not having any previous experience with Bwonsamdi’s power he is unable to really utilize it to its full potential. I mean Bwonsamdi is powerful, like really powerful, which means there is a lot more complexity than initially apparent. I mean look at Vol’jin. The troll was incredible strong thanks to Bwonsamdi’s power but it is not like he had full mastery of it at first.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Zandalari quests and cinematics but I do have one question: how was the snake loa able to stop the C’thrax by herself but all the loa we assembled couldn’t stop him here?

I know I am FOUR years late, but I'd assume she did it by boa constrictoring Mythrax then exploding in a violent detonation of storm magic. And maybe poison, because in game we see her skull has big fangs.

Call me nitpicky, but I just noticed one tiny detail, Bwonsamdi seems to be the only troll to have realistic tusks. Notice that the width of his tusks shrinks from skull to the tip, other trolls got tusks that are thin at the teeth, then widen, then shrink to the tip, This is physiologically impossible unless with age the tusk canale would shrink, which would also be impossible since younger, and naturally smaller, skulls would have to spend more space on the tusks.

@Rafael Elias Have you played on alliance side? We attack and kill some Mogu and they make comments about it(In the war campaign). Whether horde see it or not, it's there.

Not himself just his bloodline. It is why he says all who succeed you, will serve me in life and in death. Plus Bwonsamdi is not a bad guy, just because he is the loa of death doesnt make him bad. There are many times he let people live.
I just started playing wow and got to 120 and the main story quest just seemed to stop. I haven't seen these the newest CS yet and I have no clue where to go next. Can anyone help?

Please reply. I am confused. In warcraft 3 frozen throne cutscene, the cutcenes was like a movie. But they don't need use it on world of warcrafts game like this. Why?
It fits the style of the game better. A cutscene in the style of WC3 art would look like trash and isn’t super immersive, so they chose to completely shift art style, whereas in a game like WOW whose graphics and art style are already fairly developed and cinematic, rendering a cinematic so it looks like it’s in engine makes it far more immersive and breaks the flow way less than if it were to suddenly make a jump to photo realism for a cutscene.
Also, animation that detailed is SUPER expensive and time consuming, and they already have enough going on anyway. I like I better how it is anyway :)

King dude makes deal with loa of death after Loa of kings dies. Weird helmet man was part of kings council who all betrayed the king and summoned big scary man who proceeded to fuck up the capital. So yeah, we're not doing so hot over here
Weird helmet man is Zul. prophet to the King. One-blue, one white eyed man who made a deal is Rhastakhan, King of Zandalar. Floating voodoo man is Bwomsamdi, Loa of Death.
Rezan, the loa of kings, gave Rhastakhan immense power to grow his kingdom and protect it, but was slain by Zul after Zul betrayed Rhastakhan. Rhastakhan then made a deal to give his lineage to Bwomsamdi in return for power to save his Kingdom. Bwomsamdi gave it, and now he is the supreme Loa over Zandalari trolls, and is linked to the king. giving Rhastakhan power.
Mythrax, giant monster man, was awakened by Zul to destroy the final seal holding G'huun in Uldir. Zul thinks that G'huun will be stronger than the Loa (rightfully so), and wants him to be the next god of the new Empire of Zul.
So, Zul dies but unleashes G'huun so we can slay him in the next raid. Rhastakhan rules over a ruined Kingdom of Zandalar, and Sylvanas is evil. GG, TY for playing.

What's going on is OLD GOD STUFF. There ARE OLD GODS HERE. Our storyline was basically the buildup to the first raid because its on our turf. Check the dungeon journal.

Zalandar is the Azteca empire from Mexico lol
It's a mixture of Jamaica and the Aztecs. The buildings resemble those that the Aztecs made but the Loa/accents are of Jamaican origin.

You're all wrong, the Zandalari are based on the Incas, the clothing, the buildings, its all incan, their Loa religion is based on a mixture of West African Fetishism, and Haitian dieties(which mostly come from west africa, too). Mexica/Aztec/Nahuatl royalty didnt walk around half-naked covered in golden ornaments, thats an incan thing, they instead walked around in very colorful outfits.
Sure, I was "wrong" . You basically saying what I already knew, I was just too lazy to type all of it in. The Loas come from Jamaica/Haitai , which ultimately originated in West Africa. It was far easier to just type Jamaica. Also it's very easy to identify the accents as Jamaican. I could be wrong though.

At the end only the castle is destroyed and the city in a way is still well.bwonsamdi states that he will kill and lead to wars but will always maintain balance of life and death.
There were too many blood cultists who believed in gahuun so killing him was the last choice and when that happened it was done.he says empire of ash cause now gahuun woukd destroy it but he didn't.

In contrast of the Alliance story with Jaina this is definitely not something I wanted to see for the Horde. It feels like a cheap back story. Definitely more attention was put into the alliance. I was hoping to see Sylvana's pop up but I guess we have to wait a little for that. It is however going to be a pretty interesting combination, Bwonsamdi and Sylvana's
I think the story on the alliance side was better because we know Jaina, and we know the other characters as well just my opinion tho :D
Yeah because as an Alliance I can tell you that we were hoping for some sob mother+ daughter ,touchy/feely story and NOT some epic adventure involving giant old gods+ cool Loas of death. We definitely got the better storyline this time. We didn't get the weak storyline AS USUAL .

There are some similarities, but they're more than likely to be coincidence. Warcraft trolls have had that lanky look since long before Death Note was published, and similarities on the theme of death are kind of expected given they're both gods of death. As for his personality, look to pretty much any imagining of Baron Samedi and you'll find a similar, carefree personality. They're influenced by the actual Haitian folklore regarding the loa.

Bullshit... A dozen plated warships with canons can't sink a little frigate After a few hits but they can OS them with a simple blazing shot from a ballista ? Come on Blizzard we know you love way too much the Horde but it's becoming laughable the plot-armor and plot-damage you pull out from your hat. And don't complainte about troll Magic here there are none.

Yeah well there isn't necessarily any Troll magic involved. The Zandalari ships are however blessed by the Loa, you know, a pretty powerful bunch of Wild Gods. Look at Anduin for plot armor, he got the next ~60 years of it as per Velen's prophecy.
Each of those ships took multiple ballista shots that were fired with far greater force then a cannon. The trolls just had some good aim. Now the Alliance with their mass combat rez and mass combat summon is some total bullshit. Bland-uin and Failna are team Mary-Sue with sponsorships by Plot Armors R Us, GM I Win Button Inc. and Dues Ex Machina Ghostship Automall.
