wonderful, this interview is really amazing. I am aware of your talent and helpfulness. To be honest, working closely with you taught me current technology, proper use of AI, and marketing. I really should have learned more from you, but it seems like I passed on the chance🙂😔. Extremely thankful for your assistance and support. wishing you all the best.
Hey, get on upwork in the meantime. Watch videos on how to make a killer profile and apply ALOT. Those clients mostly likely will send you referrals if you create a good relationship with them. That's how I started my digital marketing agency. Much success to you!
Brother it’s all in the niche. My niche allowed me to get clients instantly. And you have more skills than I do. Find a niche that needs websites, has social media presence and has money to spend.
@@menoswater1032 if you don't mind, can you tell me more about your niche or recommend similar niches? i'm planning to focus on construction since i have experience in that field
why you dis wordpress so much? its literally 43% of the internet and the best for seo optimization, there is a million plus different themes and plugins and thousands of developers working on it. Its the bitcoin or etherium of website builders.
Wordpress is not the bitcoin of websites, 43% of the internet may be built with Wordpress but 100% of the internet is built with HTML, including Wordpress sites, the reason I diss Wordpress is because Wordpress is outdated technology, that has 1000s of different plugins all by different developers which means if a developer decides they no longer want to maintain that plugin, or if they don't make the plugin compatible with the the other plugins you're using then you end up with a slow site with a load of dead code. It is also built with PHP, and uses massive databases of mostly unused data meaning every Wordpress site has an elaborate back-end server that there really isn't any need for. You also get stuck within the confines of your template or theme/plugin, whereas with custom code you can build what you like. I can honestly take one look at a website and guess with 95% accuracy if it is built with Wordpress. I personally have never met a client on Wordpress who is happy with their experience, Wordpress is literally the reason for all the pain points and problems my clients approach me with... the fact that Wordpress is still 43% of the internet is the reason there is such a market for what I do, because 43% of the internet are suffering... clients get sold a Wordpress website under the assumption it will be effective and easy to use and then they end up with a templated, slow, difficult to use site that goes stale super quick because they don't know how to update it, I appreciate there are many talented Wordpress developers out there but the overall technology is way past its best before date 😀 there are way better website builders if you can't code aswell, also Bitcoin and Ethereum dictate the entire market around them, whereas Wordpress is dictated by the entire market around it
@jordanislandwebdesign i apprechiate your reply and agree with some of the points you have made such as site speed and wasted code on outdated themes like elementor. There are alternatives though (like generate blocks) Ill also concede that there are a lot of shit plug ins that arent properly maintained and arent properly secure, but you dont have to have them and there is loads of plugins that are actually really really helpful. Also in terms of being able to create and optimize content at scale, it is still the best. Also ngl both eth and btc are pretty shit in terms of being outdated tech. Solana, avax, doge coin, even bitcoin cash is better tech. But still 90% of developers are working on eth or btc. thats why i refered it as the eth or btc of websites.
The reason i refered to it as the etherium of bitcoin of websites is because most developers use it /are building it or with it (like eth) it doesnt matter if a lot of the tech is outdated since it has the largest ecosystem its always gonna be used. Also i agree with the site speed critisms and their being way too much unoptimized code. This is definetly an issue but mostly for specific themes. Like elementor, But for some themes this isnt really an issue, its just how things go in opensource communities, (their is a huge variation of quality) The new themes are far better optimized and far faster and there are many themes like generate blocks which dont have bloated code ua-cam.com/video/OlmiBAVeTHI/v-deo.htmlsi=qdEY1cphmaca9lly But most plugins are optional. There are plenty of great plugins that make life soo much easier and its just a case of avoiding older non updated or bloated plugins. I agree with a lot of your critisms but if you're building a content site or an affiliate site or trying to optimize for SEO the time saving advantages make it really unbeatable.
Damn, super informative. Definitely make a video on this. But give me a quick sneak peak - what are those better no code website builders? (Other than webflow)
