I have a question I had install my Lexus headlights acouple months ago and every now and then I see them on and my car is locked & turned off. why does my rgb headlights turn on by themselves on my camry xse 2019
@@Alex-vk7zohave u figured it out yet? I’m starting to see this problem too where they randomly come on, and luckily i’ve caught it every time it has done it, but i’m afraid i eventually won’t and i’ll end up with a dead battery lol.
@@s.rivera3885apparently the fuse they tell u to tap into is something that kicks on every once in a while to help with cold starts. that’s why my rgbs are turning on every like 15 minutes. i took off the fuse since it’s 3am but tomorrow ima look into the fuses and see which other fuse will work to have the tripple beams and drl all work as they should.
On other pairs of headlights that came with the same DRL harness, the instructions says to plug the copper in directly to the fuse. I dont trust doing it that way so if we use a fuse tap, cant we cut off the existing fuse holder part from the DRL harness and have it still work? Im no electrical expert but I dont see why we would need to double up on fuses?
I see what you mean. I’m no expert in electrical either. I find the work we do to be pretty basic stuff. But in my opinion considering the fact that I’ve seen that same wire for drl blow out the taillight fuse somehow by itself on regular Lexus style headlights. I think having the two fuses in the same line would prevent that from happening but it’s just an assumption. Otherwise usually using a stronger fuse would help too.
I’m gonna install these in a few days, should I install one before both headlights to adjust the height of them, or are they exactly the same on both? I don’t want to be driving with low beams blinding people lol, and which fuse did you connect the drls too, hard to tell in video.
@@crimsonkamuriok gotcha, what about the actual lightness level of the headlights, there should be dials to adjust them, did you adjust them, if no did you notice any difference from the oem ones? Like so the headlights don’t point to low or to high like high beams
@@timurastakhov3187I have these headlights on my car. The light height is perfect. Slightly brighter than factory LED’S but the light height is perfectly just barely lower than factory headlights so you’re not blinding anyone but can still see far ahead of you.
Did you miss the part where he explains that's what the key fob that came with the lights do? The key fob turns the RGB off so they don't attract attention from the cops.
Hi. The XSE trim has the DRL that you can switch ON or OFF right through the settings on your car screen. Would I need to tap into the fuse to have the DRL work? Will I be able to turn off the DRL through the settings in the car? Are there older and newer versions of these RGB triple beam headlights? Are the headlights level correctly adjusted, or does it need to be adjusted during installation? Are they bright? I'm planning to purchase them from invoke concepts. Thanks!
Well the headlights are are 1100. If you consider shipping and tax plus my discount code that takes off $110 you will be paying a little under 1100… Personally I did not charge my friend in this video because it was a exchanged favor for him helping me record and for him buying the headlights. If I were to install these for someone I would charge $100 -120 I do installs for people every week on everything you see on this channel so I use to it now

The link I provided is all you need.. you connect that red wire to the fuse tape wire connection and then connect it to the fuse box. And as shown in the video it’s only tapped into 1 fuse (the one you can’t physically see) it’s a red 10.

Installed on am XSE and can change color of the Nike check and reflectors, but not the demon eyes. What do I need to do?
