Tip for hills. Ebrake up. Clutch in, car in gear, let clutch out a bit give it a little gas and when you feel like the car is trying to move bring down the Ebrake
Yeah did this is once or twice
now days even the cheapest 2020-21 and before models have hill assist that holds the brakes a few seconds for you to get it in gear
@@transistor281 that is actual heaven to be honest. I have a 2010 Chevy cobalt and it’s light so it rolls a lot. I guess it’s nice to know how to do it without the technology though.
Yeah man that was a tough comment
@@EnthusiastPOV he deleted the comment haha
Don't be ashamed I taught myself how to drive stick when my father left town I took his car around the block when I was 14 self taught
Haha sick ! Bad ass
i remember getting my first manual, i wasnt aloud to leave at night so my friends came over and we had to push it down the street to be quiet so my parents wouldnt know. I stalled like 4 times trying to get off the street 😭😂
Lmfao 😂😂
Me two back in 2017 when I was 20 I just bought a 2001 Ford Escort Zx2 5 speed with no experience and just fuckin sent it 😂😂😂. Stalled about 20 times but after 3 days I got the hang of it.
"Not going to mod it that much"
Down the rabbit hole we go...lol
👌👌
Hhaaha
If this was your first time driving manual in a car you just bought much respect ✊! Gave me better hope on getting my manual for my new daily .
Yes it is! Now on my second !
Sink or swim, I like it
Yup, hill starts are the scariest. I also learned on my own how to drive a manual transmission. All my friends had manuals and I actually watched youtube videos and did my thing. Had one go with my friend's car in a parking lot and that was it. I went out driving late at night just to cruise around and practice...also went to an isolated street hill to practice as well. Was a happy dude.
That’s how you do it !
❤💕💕👌🏻
I've been looking at the exact G35, all the extras, going to be my first manual car too. Can't wait for more G35 content!
This is the best thing I’ve seen. Too bad there weren’t GoPro back in the day when I had bought my first manual.
Nice man nice. I like this. 👌🏾
Do the 10+ front end conversion on it. Lower her, nice catback, some intakes and a tune.
Good choice! I stalled coming out from the dealership when I had my Wrx lol. I’ve had it for 5 yrs and decided to trade it in Q50 3.7. I do enjoy the engine and comfort of automatic but I miss the 6 speed so bad. Prob going to keep this and get another used manual haha
The perfect daily 👌🏿
It’s been a minute since I’ve drove a Manual. The last time I drove one, was a Beater Kia Soul to a location and I still got it with driving Manuel..
I learned stick from buying my first car at 16. 1993 Honda Prelude SiVTEC. This brings back memories. I stalled about 6 times on the way home haha. Then needed to buy a new clutch within the first month. LoL
Haha I’ve stalled my fair amounts by now !
Congrats bro! You will have so much fun with the Vq35HR ! I have the 08 g35s sedan FBO/ it’s a dream and so fun to drive daily! Once you start doing mods you won’t stop! I recommend intake/HFC/exhaust and your set! Have fun bro practicing those hills! Lol InfinitiBOYZ there’s nothing like manual
Haha thanks man sure it’s fun !
I have an 05' Civic EX/SE that's a manual transmission. I'm also trying to teach myself how to drive it.. its a bit complicated rn. Lol
A year later, would love to see how its going bro if u see this lol. Just got my stick g37 3 months ago and taught myself how to drive it aswell. First car and stick!!!!
I had an '07 G35S 6MT in blue. It was a great car! My introduction to Infiniti as a matter of fact.
Nice !!
VQ engine sound is heaven
When I had the G35, I just wanted that sexy sexy exhaust sound. Went through a few setups until finally I did a muffler delete. The sound was beautiful!
Now get a tomei
@Assman Butt exhaust brand
Definitely get a admin tune!! Having my M37 admintuned In January, cant wait!
I second! I love my Tune by Moncef!
what is an admin tune? what does it do?
I had the exact same car same options and everything but 5AT. Great car man car moved great! Ran 13.6 stock
That’s awesome b
Solid daily 💪🏽 can’t go wrong ,great buy!!
Thank you !
congrats on the new daily. I love Infinitis man they are great cars. I just hit 140k in my VQ37 Q50, perfect daily I plan to keep it forever. great video and best of luck with the car. Can't wait to see admins work... I wanna get some of his stuff done to my Q but ah its just not worth it at the miles lol... congrats again. great video
Thanks bro! I look forward to the admin tune
Glad to see you back hope all is well!
Thank you !
nice pickup. thats a good deal
Nice man! I remember learning stick in my wrx, good times... not so much for the clutch tho 😂
Haha so far i haven’t smelled the clutch
Better start than most haha 👍🏻
stick shifts rule !!!!!!!!!! my car is a 6 manual
My friend just got an Admin Tune on his G37S coupe here in Fort Worth and that thang spits hella flames with his Tomei exhaust
Haha ratchet !!9
This is about to be me on Friday!
Let's get it!!!!
Dam you stole that MFr! You were in H town bro. Next time give a brother shout.
Manual is super easy. First thing is find the bit point of the clutch. You can do that in your parking spot.
Then play with it until get it to roll without applying gas to it.....why do I suggest starting there, stop and go traffic.
Oh, also practice with the AC on and off. The additional engine load makes a difference.
Have fun with it...
Great advice thank you brother ! Next time I’ll hit u up
Rowing gears like a pro already! Your next test will be learning to drive a RHD manual 😳
There’s an idea !
I guess this explains what you were doing in Houston with a stick shift on your ig story. I thought it was a rental for a visit here. Congrats on the car, and you got me laughing talking about you're not gonna do anything but maybe just an exhaust, admin tune, catch can. Next thing it's gonna be supercharger, upgraded clutch, coilovers 😂
Lmfaoooo thanks man
My favorite steering feel of all the Gs...
Man it’s amazing cornering
My second new Jetta was a 1996 wolfsburg 4cyl 5sp. I drove from the dealership and had to go downtown in a parking structure. Had to stop on that incline to get the ticket...and stalled. Had MAD cars behind me and just like you, kept rolling backwards.. scariest moment with a new stick ever. Loll
Happened to me on the way home! It was scary lol
Terrifying to say the least..
I drive manuel at 13yrs it was fun it was a nissan frontier
I like it👌😁
Congratulations brother, i need to take a trip down. See if I can get some of the crew to go too
Y’all are welcome
In my stock G37S I had mild clutch chatter with clutch depressed. When I got rid of the dual mass flywheel for a lightweight and put it a stage 3 clutch the clutch chatter got much louder. Its possible the clutch could have been changed with aftermarket if its 117k but then again my VQ37HR chattered stock.
It was !
Lol! Better late then never! I’m old enough that the first car I leaned to drive was a manual when I was 13
Damnnnn lucky guy lol
Yeah I even took my road test in a manual Mazda RX-7. I guy giving me the exam was older so I had to walk around to the passenger side to help him out of the car.
oem+ best way to go
Saving to get G37 now
Niceeee
I’ve been wanting to learn how to drive a manual. It’s nice to know but I have no money to buy a car
Jealous of the seats for sure. It’ll be a fun car man.
Thanks man!
Hello I live in Dallas too... I want to learn manual and buy one however it is difficult to find a car to learn in... any ideas?
I got the same whip but in automatic smh I love it tho
I’m thinking of buying a manual car for my first car once i turn 16, i have no experience with one. Do you think its worth it? Ive always wanted one but im wondering if i should just play it safe and buy an automatic. I’m looking at an acura rsx type s right now and am wanting some recommendations on what i should do
bro I got a Audi tt and burnt the clutch within 2 days trying to teach myself lol
Nice pickup. Modded those looked pretty damn clean. I see so many ratty ones in Houston and I'm so disappointed.
Thanks man
Bouta get my first job and ima buy a manual to teach myself
Congrats, I also downgraded after turning in my q50 to a Acura TLX 2.4 and I couldn’t be happier. I sold all the q50 mods on eBay and got most of my money back. As far a the GTR, I’ve driven some and they are terrible daily drivers, at least for me.
Yeah terrible Daily for sure lol. I don’t want to daily it tho
I can see your happiness... wow...
KayDro Technologies yes sir this car def makes me happy lol
@@EnthusiastPOV I used to really want a GTR too, I'm leaning Corvette now. If you get a GTR make sure its 2012+, that was the year of the first refresh for refining the transmission and suspension. But if you see one older than 2012... make sure the transmission was updated or replaced, as the older years would grenade transmissions with repeated use of launch control. It's some great prices on the 2009 to 2011, but only buy with an updated version of the transmission installed.
Don't you know how to do a hand brake start on hills to prevent any stalls or roll backs at all?
The kid watching your vid: 👁👄👁
😎
Easy cheat for hill starts is use the e-break till you get comfy with driving a manual and honestly for an 07 it looks pretty clean minus the few dings/dent.
If you are looking for a new car to replace the Q60/G37 for the daily the m240i is definitely a go too recommendation for me.
Similar tuning potential with the B58 motor but the shorter wheel-base, 300lbs less make it far more playful and it comes with manual and automatic transmission.
Edit: Haha yeah the G35 and G37 have a nicer camera then the Q60, wait till you see the quality once it gets dark.
bro im about to go get my g35 in like 4 hours, also stick shift i literally practice for 30 min yesterday and i have to travel 4 hours also to go get it
G35s in manual with black interior is one of the most rare vq’s there are. Almost up there with 350z nismo, hella reliable and hella rare
Lol I want to eventually own wrx an mod it problem is idk how to drive stick shift so I’ve been thinking Of buying cheap manual car to teach myself
I saw bad boys 1 plane strip race, its been on from then.
Lmao
Man O man. Novice manual driver, daily driven, in Dallas traffic... Talk about diving right in head first! 😂 I hope you're a fast learner. You already know that Dallas traffic is unforgiven. Lol
Getting around pretty good bro !
@@EnthusiastPOV cool man. Glad to hear that! Awesome looking ride, super rare for that model for sure. I gotta check it out soon
Very brave learning to drive MT on a 6MT VQ35HR lol. The clutch is kinda balky on these cars. FYI the loud chatter is normal with the dual mass flywheel on these cars.
The clutch is not forgiving lol
@@EnthusiastPOV welcome to the team bro I learned manual when I bought my 2014 Q60/G37 and now I'm 7 months in to driving and handling DMV traffic. I even got the rev matching figured out enough to the point I look for every excuse to do it.😂😂😂 The hills starts is really sketchy the high grab point is a true mental/physical challenge
Clutch is sketchy on these cars I definitely agree, coming from a Honda clutch the infiniti is much less smooth and forgiving
Lol just be careful going from 4th to 5th gear a lot of new manual drivers might accidentally go into 3rd gear if you’re high in RPMs. Other than that once you understand the clutch you can just tease it afterwards.
Happened once but low rpm lol
Noti gang
My man 🙌🏽
How Tf do I buy a manual if I can't even drive one tho
Go for it fam!
Imma get 12gt500 .. Never driven uh stick
GETTING MY G37 MANUAL TODAY AND I HAVE TO DRIVE IT 1 HOUR BACK HOME LMAO
Um, what?! $5,000 for that thing?! I know real estate is basically free there compared to Jersey, but I guess cars are too?? That's $8,500-$10,000 all day here. More like $10,000, especially from a dealer. Maybe $7,000 private sale if you're lucky. Good for you man
Thanks man, yeah It holds the value well
If you thought the Q60 mods were expensive wait until you get into that GTR. Congrats on the G...did you not want a coupe?
You and several others think the “mod cost” is the issue lol. Did you not see my mod list ? No expense was spared. I had any and every mod I wanted. The issue is happiness with the car and it’s pretty much capped in so many ways. And the G coupe is too common. This G is a way better buy for the $ than anything in the country for what I got in return.
I honestly believe that if you were tracking the car and modding it with the intention of getting it around a road course, you would be very happy with it. Still, I hope you can reach your goal with the GTR.
Bro!! Get 3 Bolt Ons & She'll be an Awesome Daily!

On site lol
GREAT PRICE
This car has a mnaual trans... Man o mam
I know twin plate clutches rattle
Yup it’s got an after market clutch
@@EnthusiastPOV I love the way the twin plate rattles!
I know you said it was your daily but common.... 😏😏 at least do FBOs and tune. And you should be happier than what you already are. But either way, I can’t wait to see what you have I store for this beauty 🔥🔥💪🏼💪🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you ! Maybe FBO haha
Good choice

Lmaoo
get it tuned by @Saul _Nismo_ Nights No Cap!!!
I’ve committed to admin
@@EnthusiastPOV Saul is the best tuner for our platforms imo.
Don’t send it right away, learn how to drive it first it’ll save you a lot of money and wear and tear
Of course
hi
Hi!
"Granny shifting not double clutching like you should" lol.
Lol beat me to it
Why would you get a daily manual 😂
I hope that wasn’t a serious question
@@EnthusiastPOV pretty serious
Snatched forehead not all of want to drive the same thing everyday
@@EnthusiastPOV dope
Enthusiast POV hahahahahaha, dailying a manual is normal, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Nice car
