County Lines is a powerful and moving coming-of-age film about a 14 year old boy who is groomed into a ‘county lines’ criminal network.
Inspired by the stories he heard while mentoring kids at an East London pupil referral unit, writer-director Henry Blake’s powerful feature debut boasts a compelling central performance by Conrad Khan as 14-year-old Tyler, with strong supporting performances from Ashley Madekwe and Harris Dickinson.

I was lucky enough to have seen this film and it’s unbelievable, gripping and eye opening! Shows the reality of many many young children and the harsh life they lead.
where did u watch it
This film is garbage lol worst acting ever
Bang On about time we had a film about the real issues going on right now... respect to all involve in this project real talk..
Saw this film at the London film festival in Oct. Gritty and raw and not an easy watch but well acted and a glimpse of what life can be like for kids who get into drug running.
True to life, I was invited to a closed viewing of this hard hitting film and with my background in youth work so much of this hits home. It needs to be seen by those most at risk and those who are vulnerable to being drawn down this route.
Thank you Henry for inviting me to the viewing.
The fact that tyler aka conrad khan was doing his sisters hair was sooo amazing and precious to me ❤❤❤❤
This film is sooo powerful it shows the loneliness of a 14 year old boy and what he has to endure to stay strong through his loneliness.then he realizes that he's not alone, he has a family that loves him Soo much, that scene where his mother toni is in the room and he's angry, but then he breaks down I tears and says mom I'm Soo sorry and his mom goes and holds him in her arms and says to him it's ok ,I would have done the same thing yesss
Country lines is a amazing true story and it always will be . Causes this kind of serious thing is happening every minute every second. So if your not in that situation thank God for that Everytime you have some alone time with him. Yesss.. cheers 🥂🍷🍷 to all the cast and crew an the director who made this really life story to this such a powerful life lesson.😊
What a film. Absolutely stunned. Brilliant work all round
Just watched this and it's brilliant. Kudos to all involved.
Great true life story Cast , definitely a must watch ,
Conrad Khan brilliant actor
Anyone els being made to watch this for home work ?
Great film but it really bothers me why people think this is a new issue. It was happening 20 years ago in Brighton.
It's been happening in one form or another for hundreds of years. The exploitation of children for the cheap and easy earnings of ruthless adults is a part of western industrialised society.
Looks like an intriguing drama about an important issue relating to the exploitation of vulnerable youths. Channel 4 had an interesting documentary about Britain's Child Drug runners. That is worth watching too.
Fix Films Ltd what's the documentary called ?

You all know what the answer is, right? Legalize, regulate, and control. No government should have the right to tell us what we can and cannot put into our own bodies. Stop the grooming, exploitation, and brutality. Decriminalise!
look like it can gwan stilleh
Watched it last night, don’t see why the older kicked the door in a grabbed the boys mum up over 2k. So I take it, it was the older fella in the merc who got the boy stabbed etc?
Maybe it could be due to two things: 1) some drug dealers pit runners within the same gang against each other, thus incurring a debt that was out of their control. 2) it was rival county lines gang who got intel about him, I.e. nitties, local users, and thus kidnapped him etc.
When it comes to debts, drug dealers don’t care and will hassle anyone associated with the runner in order to get their money back. It’s a miserable game and too many casualties from this game.
Imagine this script in the hands of a competent director.
I wish all parent would gather their children and have a movie night with this film, followed by a monthly; WEEKLY (if needed) debate. If YOUR CHILD has two phones and you didn't by either? ASK QUESTIONS? If YOUR CHILD has expensive footwear and clothing and things you didn't buy? ASK QUESTIONS. If YOUR CHILD tells you don't enter their room, TAKE OFF THE DOOR, then you'll have ppen access to the room i the house where YOU pay the rent! If YOUR CHILD is in trouble seek help #BeAParent. Time to realise you won't always be able to pick up your child from the police station; or HMP Detention Centre.#RealityRoad
Film needs to be seen important
Then why are you locking it behind a fee
because they need to make back money to pay actors and staff
@@louis5017 obviously but they should have enough money to do that anyways and or rely on donations/gov funding, considering they made this targeted at poor youths do you really think those at risk will be able to afford it?
@@folegionnaire4404 yeah but if they cant they cant that would defo be better
Is it available in English or with subtitles as I can’t seem to understand “London” accents anymore
Ok boomer... Btw, why have you put "London" in inverted commas?
George Donovan - Multiracial London English (MLE) - seems to be the dialect in London now - therefore “London” doesn’t sound like London anymore
what a silly and slighty racist thing to say........We're not all Dick Van Dyke's dahn 'ere in Landan
brunster64 Ok Boomer
brunster64 MLE is by far the best accent in England
thanx God i lived Shithole Gammon Brexit England i live in sunny Spain now
Crap movie managed half an hour and had to turn it off
This looks like a depressing look into a fringe non functional group. I do not identify with it and it’s not representative of the vast majority of young Brits.
And?
Tulse Luper
Who cares what you or anyone else thinks. I’ll comment as I observe and to hell with butt sore readers like you who can’t handle criticism. Maybe you identify with these losers? Get a life!
And who cares?
I'm sure the director wants to bring a good eye-opening story to the public. Wth does it need to represent the majority? What's the need in it? Do you think every film roles is limited to that? Representation. Identification. Wtf cares?
meruru kun
Because it creates the notion and perpetuates the myth that these losers are main stream, they’re not! In effect, it is an extension of the ‘Fake News’ industry, and clued up people recognise how toxic it is, this ‘film’ included.

And You?
