I was going to spend all day painting, especially as the canal outside our boat is frozen for the first time this year. However having seen this winters scene I k is I can not achieve this level of excellence. From an amateur though one possible small inclusion may have added a story to further draw the viewer in; how about a few footprints in the snow in the foreground? I AM getting the paints out now! Thanks to one of my world favourite watercolourists.
