Let's face it we're all going to be inpatient when it comes to changing out the jewelry on your brand new piercing. Before you take that leap we will show you signs to know that your piercing is healed so you can change them as soon as possible. Jewelry & Appointments: bit.ly/MoreLulus
i remember when my daith healed… the night before, it was being a big baby and bleeding for the first time in months! then the next morning…my entire ear tone changed and i went to clean it and there was no crusties, no blood, no pain, no redness! my ear color changed to the same color as my neck and face. i couldn’t believe my eyes
I changed my first lobe piercings after 6 weeks and they were mostly healed, but only fully healed until a few weeks after, great video! Very informative
my ear piercer told me to wait 6 weeks before changing it, i changed it after about 14 weeks, and i believe it was fully healed. no redness or pain, i only felt a tiny bit of pain when adding new ones, but it went away after like 5-10 mins not really sure what that means haha but i honestly don't feel anything on my ears rn and i have small hoops on rn
I'm a very slow healer because I'm type 2 diabetic. No it's not my sugar my a1c is 6.2. It's just my body my new ear piercings will probably take 1 to 2 years before I can change them out. But it's going to be worth it.
Yes I finally was able to change them to 5/16. But they still act like they're not healed. My Helix and Daith are healed. My other piercings act like there not smh
See this is very interesting. Only had my ears done about 11 days ago and there is already no sensitivity, pain, swelling or redness. I can fiddle with the earrings, twist them and push them in and out (I do this to properly get the cleaning fluid in there) and there is still no pain. They seem fine. I guess it won't be an issue to swap them out at this stage.
I had the same thing. No pain after a week and by two weeks it felt like nothing. But I waited and I’m glad I did because they actually weren’t healed. If you want to test it play with your new piercing like you would if it was fully healed. If after sleeping on it and messing with it a lot for a few days then it’s not fully healed and could probably use a little more time. I know that they said don’t touch your earrings while they’re healing, but if you think they’re healed, that’s a great way to just test it.
@@jofallout I changed mine out. Still def not healed but had no issues. I just made sure to keep everything nice and clean. My hose stud on the other hand is farrrr from healed. Very sensitive still
😮I got mine last month, and now it feels like my earring moves by itself. It does not hurt or anything uncomfortable. Maybe its healed. Informative vid though!. ❤
My industrial healed so I changed it, turned out the earring was silver which I’m allergic too, it got super swollen, itchy and it hurts so bad. It had so much puss too. Now it has to re heal.
I had my daith done about a month ago. It already has no signs of redness or swelling anymore. My husband sometimes accidentally pushed it up or down while cleaning it and I don't even feel it.
Got my ears a week ago and there is no pain, redness, or sensitivity. Is that crazy, I do wanna put a different earring in but I don’t want to mess it up. Is a week unheard of?
I have had my double helix piercing for nearly two years and it still hasn’t heeled. It is always sore or irritated and occasionally gets a little bump on it. I clean them every day with warm salt water but nothing helps. I don’t know what to do
Maybe try changing the piercings to a higher quality metal? I know my ears are super sensitive so I have to use quality material (higher than surgical steel) for my piercings.
You might be over cleaning it. It’s been two years for my 3 newest piercings and they’re still a bit tender, but much better than before. (I’d changed my jewelry a couple times prematurely so it set my healing journey back.) After doing research, I found out that you’re supposed to cut back on the daily cleanings after a while because you may be moving the jewelry too much.
dont do it!! it will bleed and will take longer to heal. i have done it and trust me it makes it worse. your ear will close if you dont wear another earring. dont make this mistake. let it heal dont mess with it or touch it until its healed. you are not supposed to!!
I got helix falt my piercing 1 month before and it was not properly heal...it has bump on it the bump has puss inside and it getting bigger... please help what should i do ?? I clean those inflected piercing every 3 times in a day from seabsalt and after that applying hot mustard mustard oil but nothing happens and also pains alot... please help.. almost completed 2 months but not heal
dont apply mustard oil. keep cleaning it with saline solution. do salt soaks and sont touch it!! please. it will not heal if you touch. dont sleep on it! it will make it worse if you sleep on it. sleep with a travel pillow/ neck pillow if you sleep on your side where piercing is done. if all this doesnt help see a doctor he will give you antibiotics. go after 10-12 days because it takes time to work.
Like a nostril? I read anywhere from 2-6 months depending on how you heal. Generally I think like 2 or 3 months is the most common, but I would wait a little longer to make sure it is for sure healed. I got mine done in late October and it feels pretty good but I'm not planning on changing it until late January or February

It took 7 months for my tragi to heal. They seemed fine... I got the flu and BAM! Both of them where badly infected. How could that happen?

7 months I decided to change my conch. Well i had alot of bleeding . I quickly cleaned it, stuck new piercing in. Hope for the best.
My ear piercing person told me I just had to wait 8 week about to me it's been 6 weeks and it feels healed and normal

all the indication for healed piercing matched mine, however I only had my ear pierced for 5 days so I'm confused whether it's healed or not
My friend did it with a needle this week and it still hurts!!

Allergic to silver? Ooof, that would be terrible.

Mine is healed after only like half a month lol, no pain no redness nothing 🤷🏼🤷🏼 ig I’m lucky w good genes 😅
My ear lobe healed in 3 weeks

Should i take my starter piercings out in 3 weeks like Claire's suggests or 6 weeks?

@@nosuna02 thank you so much for the advice I will try changing them. 🤍
@@nosuna02 I second this. Try either implant grade titanium or 14k gold, those are the best possible metals to promote healing and reduce irritation.
@@yasminelilly Also your earings stoppers may give to a cut so make sure they stay at the very end (edge) of the earing.
