You're welcome! To get the digital version of "USMLE First Aid" for 2023 or 2024, you can purchase it from several platforms:
Amazon Kindle: Search for "USMLE First Aid 2023" or "USMLE First Aid 2024" and choose the Kindle edition.
McGraw-Hill Education: The publisher often provides eBook versions on their site.
How to pass Step 1:
Read first aid like 10 times
Read crush step for embryology
Make your own pharm review
Easy pass.
The test also has an algorithm which is that they only test mostly the most common disease and the key basics of each topic. They will not go over the hill with hard questions. Lab values are most of the time only two given numbers at most, not like uworld that makes you read 15 different values, and only one is necessary to answer. Memorize the images on the FA . The fact that some people study a lot and dont pass is because people tend to study so many things that will never be tested and forget to review the basics and the test will examine you a lot on those. Obviously one or two hard weird things are gonna be tested but once you settle the easy things first, everything else can be achieved

Hi doc... I need an advice on what to do next. I sit my USMLE 5 months ago and didn't make it. I didn't use FA because I used it once and I failed 5 years ago. I resit the second time but I couldn't change my date because used all my extensions. I knew I wasn't too prepared but scared to do another mock exam because my exam was near.
I did just 1 nbme and the entire UW in details and pathoma together with Kaplan lectures and notes.
I did Kaplan center prep 5 years ago and was my first demise.
I didn't do sketchy no FA neither no other mock exam was done because I was out of time.
This will my last attempt doc and I bought FA and pathoma sketchy micro and pharmacology.
Should I do a self assessment NBME first then see my weak areas and then go from there? Should I still use UW with FA or AMBOSS with FA ? Should I supplement with boards and beyond because I used Kaplan lectures?
I really need solid advice? I am frustrated doc.
Just do questions because I was passively studying for 12 months and 4 months of dedicated studying.

There’s a difference between first aid book 2023-2024? Because I have 2023 but I don’t know if I have to buy first aid 2024 🥲
You can just mark the new differences. No need to change the edition.
As much as I hate the fact that I pirated few books because of their high prices or them being out of stock, u may have to look for a pirated pdf copy of the 2024 edition. Or if u can afford it buy the pdf version as it usually less in price. As for the changes I’m in a similar position as you, as I’m going through with buying first aid book but not sure if there is that big of a difference, 2023 book is literally half the price as the new edition. It makes all the difference to me lol. From my searches online I couldn’t find anyone pointing out differences, but If I came across any differences between the 2 editions I would comeback and update u. Good luck.

@MinaAtt still didn't manage to buy a physical copy, also just started summer so I'm studying it soon. In regards to changes I didn't look them up yet.
