(Possibly the reference to the Luna Dial spell card in the fighting games where she freezes the opponent in time by throwing a watch at them).
Alright, I'm sorry for asking, but I have to know. Who did the character portraits for this one? They're in Labyrinth of Touhou 2, so that's really only why I'm asking. And also because they look really good.
I have a challenge for everyone. I call it Everyone Hates Sakuya Izayoi. Rules and Reqirements: Set base_difficulty in the config to 10. Use the Sakuya player in the script's player folder (Copy it and paste to the main player folder). Play the individual spell practice-like scripts that are separate from the main script in the directory. Beat every nonspell and spell without bombs (Bombs are allowed on the 2 bonus spells). Update: I've finally beaten Remilia's Spell Card and therefore the challenge after 206 tries. You basically have to have a really rare moment happen where the Scarlet Meister-Type red bullets aren't completely impossible to dodge. Luckily, this only has to happen once, and then you just pray you don't die too much afterwards.
My best guess is that the script's "gimmick" is that everyone else in the SDM gets to use Sakuya's classic time stop ability combined with their usual danmaku specialties. It's probably explained in the dialogue that got skipped over.
Bravi'M Again: It's probably in the starting bit that got skipped. Like, they stole her powers or something and it's the same reason Reimu can't move when Sakuya stops time in EosD
According to the dialog (I read it by setting the video's speed to 0.25), Remilia took her Luna Dial to steal her ability (not sure how that makes sense, because I don't think her powers are dependent on that watch).
