  • This video begins with why the dogma of the Trinity is the most misunderstood of Christian beliefs, and then follows with the concept of ousia, divine essence in a general sense, which unifies Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as one God.

The Law was never abolished by Jesus or anyone else.
Matthew 15:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness…”
Luke 16:17 “It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.”
Romans 3:31 "Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law."
Mark 12:29 “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord”
Romans 6:15 "What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the Law, but under grace? God forbid!"

THE LAW IS FULLFILLED - WE ARE NOT LONGER SLAVES UNDER THE LAW.
WE ARE NOW CHILDREN OF GOD.
Matthew 22- The Scribes: Which Is the First Commandment of All?
34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
      Galatian 2
19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
      Galatian 3
      Purpose of the Law
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator. ( före jesus)
20 Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one. (Gud kommer till oss)
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, [a]kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.
24 Therefore the law WAS our [b]tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
      Galatian 4
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born[a] of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, [a]“Abba, Father!
      Galatian 6
14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by [a]whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new
Hebrew 7- Need for a New Priesthood
11 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
      Colossians
16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a [a]festival or a new moon or sabbaths,
17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the [b]substance is of Christ.
18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has [c]not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
20 [d]Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations-
21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,”
22 which all concern things which perish with the using-according to the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and [a]neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.
John 1:12 jesus är logos - dvs ordet lagen
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
Jag är nu ett barn av Jesus Kristus vår frälsare.
20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and [a]manifest Myself to him.”

You’re starting from the end, the synthesis of 2-3 centuries of debate. It’s the “heresies” along the way that finally led to a resolution (and to a few schisms as well.) I don’t think Christians can appreciate this end phase without learning about those debates which led to the church Councils (Nicaea, Ephesus, Chalcedon) which could be high drama themselves.

If God is 3 persons and one OUSIA, how is that compatible you saying that the one God (OUSIA) reveals Himself (PERSON) using singular personal pronouns. On one hand, you speak of the one God in personal pronoun terms rather than qualitative essence terms. On the other hand, it seems like you are actually teaching, the one essence (OUSIA or substance) of God is revealed in 3 persons.

I may not be getting this right, but it seems like what you're saying is that Father, Son and Holy Spirit all share the same nature. Just like we know that several distinct examples of pens are all pens because they all have the nature of pen-ness. Or we know that a human is a human because it possesses human nature. The trouble with this explanation, though, (as far as I can see) is that it only describes polytheism: If Father, Son and Holy Spirit are only God because they have God-ness, then they are just distinct specimens of Gods-- just like me, my brother, and my friend down the street all possess human nature, so we are all humans. And yet we are all distinct humans. I can't see how this explanation avoids polytheism.

Your right. The trinity is a false doctrine the devil made to make Christians believe they worship one God. Yet when the think of God, they think of three. It's all messed up, there is no trinity. There is one God, the Father alone. The bible NEVER speaks of the trinity.

Sean Ledet I'm using your logic. You have Body, Mind, and Spirit so that means your existence are splitting into 3? Do you have 3 identification card? Of course no! With body, mind, and spirit you only have 1 existence. God is one and God's Word(Jesus) revealed Himself in the flesh according to the revelations in the Bible. Only God can appear in those supernatural way. His Spirit filled the world as promised by Jesus.

2 Tim 2:14 is counsel from Paul not to 'argue about words' This was happening and grew after the death of the apostles resulting in much theological debate culminating in the counsel of Nicea in 325ad. Much devision caused a sidetracking of persuing more necessary priorities of living a humble christian life and preaching the gospel. The result has been a worldwide 'mishmash' of religions claiming to be Christian. Yet Jude the half brother of our Lord stated " The faith that was ONCE for all time delivered to the holy ones". ( Jude 3). Paul warned at ACTS 20:30 & i Tim 4:1 2),That men would arise & speak twisted things"! It happened and still exists right here! We dont need fancy expanations of christianty. Its ours in the bible!

Islam Goes even Further than Arainism. They deny that God is our Heavenly Father, Muhammad said that "Allah is a Father to No One." This means, to them you can never be a Child of God in Islam! They also deny the Holy Spirit and "think" the Holy Spirit is Muhammad.
They teach a Different god, and if you study the Chararistics of their god and our God, you will find that Allah is described as Satan and has some of the same names of our God making this cult very scary.
They also teach a Different Jesus Christ. They deny Jesus Died on the Cross, and the Quran confirms that Allah allowed them to Place a *Substitute* who looked Like Jesus on the Cross. Do you see the Scripture twisting?
This means Allah, in the Quran is a Deceiving God! And their Allah has Created the Largest Religion on Earth, Christianity due to Allah's deceit. Kind of comical if you think about it. But sad that these people has fallen into Heresy!
Muhammad also made his Own Torah, by only Using Clips of the Torah and you can see from the Very beginning he places Adam and Eve (they use a different name for Eve) was deceived in Paradise, not here on Earth. They also Deny that God can not come to earth, Allah is not a Knowing god or a Personal god to our everyday Life like we know our God. As we see in the Beginning with Adam and Eve, God walked with them in the bible. This is forbidden for Allah because he is Too Meek to come to earth.
The only reason why Muhammad inserted clips of the Torah, clips of the Injeel (Gospel), and they do claim the Book of David (Psalms) was to convert the Jews and Christians! He started with One peaceful forced Conversion but then began to be violent and adding Taxes for the rest.
Although the Quran confirms the Scriptures to be Divine and the Word of God, Muslims they are left to say ours scriptures are corrupt because it does not agree AT ALL with the bible. So they turn around and call Muhammad and Allah a Liar not realizing what they are doing. Again, kinda comical but extremely sad for these people stuck in this cult.
This also means Muhammad was a False Prophet, because all the Apostles of Christ, seen Christ in his Resurrected form and Muhammad never seen Jesus Christ in his Resurrected form, Therefore Jesus did not give His Authority to Muhammad to give us the New Revelation guided by the Holy Spirit. Because he also denies the Holy Spirit.
And in the hadiths you can see that Muhammad died as a False Prophet. Oh and on His death bed, he curses the Jews and the Christians!
Muhammad was also attacked in a Cave by a Different Arch Angel Gabriel, not the Same Arch Angel Gabriel in the bible! This clearly was a Demon because our Arch Angel Gabriel is not going to attack people and beat them up in a Cave. His new revelation was in this cave by himself and No witnesses! And the Quran was Given to them by this Angel Gabriel, and because it was from an Angel "they think" this is the Word of God. But the bible warns us of this written in 49 AD!
But even if *we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.* As we have said before, so now I say again: *If anyone is preaching* to you a *gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.*
      Galatians 1:8‭-‬9 ESV
      bible.com/bible/59/gal.1.8-9.ESV
Do not be deceived, study their beliefs first. Study each person and see how they have the same names but they are All different. And most importantly study Allah and his characteristics in the Quran. You will read he described as Satan himself.

Ousia was not used in the way you used it by Greek thinkers.
You version seems to be a strange brew of...
    Platonic Hypostases and Aristotle/Stoic categories.
With a bit of "Theological Reasoning"😁 and scriptural interpretations to hold it up.
They were separate schools of thought for reasons. "Cherry-Picking" and trying to force a single meaning, the Greeks obviously never agreed on 'ousia', just leaves you open to the same attacks each Greek School threw at each other centuries before "Christ". Further it affects your choice use of "substance" and "essence"....Arius made far more logical sense than you.
Do you believe that Pagan/Atheistic Greek thinkers actually discovered a way of reasoning and defining a God ???
You do know that Rationale, Reason and Logics have "Limitations" ???....and cannot prove their own "Validity"...right ???
