Lecture: Advances in Glaucoma Management: Maximizing the Potential of Visual Field and OCT Testing

Visual field (VF) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) diagnostic testing are an integral part of glaucoma management. There are many different types of VF and OCT testing strategies and new advances are introduced on a regular basis. This session will cover approaches to the first patient encounter as well as longitudinal follow-up. Questions that will be answered include which metric(s) are most important in the real world and what are some common mistakes/lessons learned when adopting new technologies by staff and ophthalmologists. Real world examples will be used where appropriate. The session will conclude with ample time for questions and answers with attendees and the clinical experts.
