Out of curiousity, why is it necessary so summon reprodocus and change protos attribute every match? Feels like there are better cards that could be summoned
He's calling FIRE instead of DARK, because the meta is FIRE prevalent (Snake-Eyes / Fire King / Rescue-ACE / Tenpai Dragon). Even without the meta decks, there's still a few other FIRE decks that are popular enough: Salamangreat, Infernoble, Infernoid. Or decks that have a few FIRE monsters that are necessary for the combo: Unchained, Mathmech, Spright, Resonators, Sky Striker, Dinos, Swordsoul, Kashtira... It's the best attribute to call with Protos right now and will lock a ton of popular decks.
Because Protos needs an attribute that's on the field in order to declare said attribute. They chose FIRE to pre-emtively stop Snake-Eyes, but there's no naturally FIRE attribute cards on the end board. That's why they change Protos itself to FIRE to fulfill the required conditions.
you can do an anti nibiru combo with just the quick spell or the ritual pendulum. add the dinosaur to hand, sea serpent to gy and wyrm to banish. eff from the dinosaur to shuffle and add the dinocrag spell. eff from the field spell to summon the three monsters, summon varudras with the sea serpent and wyrm and activate the dinocrag spell. all in 4 summons.
5:30 white forest player had to be huffing crayons to misplay that hard lol. All he had to do was enter battle phase, activate freezing curses on varudras, then evenly the board away.
As we saw in one of the games: If you went full combo before, its not the end of the world as you can still end on one omni negate (depending on when the Nib is dropped), but eating a Nib turn 1 is still harsh since you will loose all but maybe one interruption, which isnt nearly enough in the current meta.
@@darken0id306 I'm a big fan of wyrm archetype since yang zing. I played swordsoul for the last 3 years and experimented on many variants. My last formula is going 2nd SS with shifter & board breaker. It's very effective. I love it if there's another SS variant. This one looks promising

primero el dinocrag cuando lo mandó con el campo al cementerio, y el segundo fue longyuan con efecto de taia.

so i noticed while testing this that opening the sea serpent makes the combo dead. how do we fix this?
Play another copy? Lol. I wouldnt do that personally unless you get rid of the continuous spells because theyre not needed

Siding : 2 nibiru, 2 gameciel, 2 bystial, 1 destrudo, 2 droll, 1 feather dust, 2 typhoon (trap), 2 imperm
If I meet tenpai or other pyro type, I will go for protos-fire
not if you start with the ritual pendulum or the quick spell. you can have two negators on 4 summons, allowing to negate nibiru
