Thanks for the video, very useful. Instead of using intersection, I usually select the nodes of each brush in edit mode, copy them and switching to selection mode, paste them. This can be done with version 1.1

Another option can be to select the first set of brushes and path>break apart.

Thank You!!! I followed a different tutorial, it didn't work at all, I was going nuts! It is great that you go slow and I can see what you are clicking. The one thing you didn't say which I had to do in my Inkscape version was to click the heartbeat-looking LPE based interactive simplify button or my waving lines got converted to straight lines. Might help someone?

Please, just turn off the music in the player and everything will be OK. I am a Christian and we have such music is not prohibited. Sorry friend.
