hi richard hope youre still able to see new comments on this video. so i recently watched a video put out by a firefighter (ex now) who joined not too long ago and said during the interview they asked him questions about the service he was applying for. an example he gave was to name the chief officer of his local service. i was wondering is this a possibility within all fire service interviews. cheers
Hi Richard! I've been successful in becoming a wholetime firefighter recently after many attempts at the selection process. Your books and courses played an important part in my preparation, specifically for the interview and application forms. Having passed the process I think it would be great if you did a new video or possibly a book on the latest tests and interview process as I had to adapt for using the NFCC framework instead of the PQA's.
Hi, I’ve only been able to find out the PQA’s online. Can you give me a little bit of info on how your interview was structured using the NFCC framework please? 🙏

It was very helpful and gave me an idea of how to structure my answers well, picked up a few good pointers for certain answers that I hadn't thought of yet!
