Huge admiration for Freya's commitment to the part; she, like Henry Cavill, has now so grown into the role it's hard to imagine else playing the part all.
Ikr when I first heard the casting, I was not feeling it after playing the games. But after season 1, Henry really nailed the role more than anyone, but I was still ehh about Ciri and Yen and Jaskier and even Triss. Now after having seen season 2, all of these actors have really grown on me, and I actualy got very immersed during season 2, my brain wasent thinking about how they look! Geralt, Ciri, and Jaskier all have amazing actors, cant wait for the third season!

Even if I don't like the writing, I can really appricate the actors. Freya Allan is just amazing as Ciri, the first moment I saw her on screen I thought: "yes, this is Ciri"

Ciri is my second favorite character, I absolutely love everything about her Freya Allan did such an incredible job!! I started playing the game a few days ago and every time she's mentioned I freak out a little bit hahaha
Get ready for a emotional Rollercoaster and please for the love of God - DO NOT RUSH IT! If you rush through the Main Plot you probably won't get the Good Ending at all. Learn to know all the Main Characters and Side Quest Characters because some of them help you when you have to fight the Wild Hunt. A good Tip: Ciri is not in immediate Danger! You don't need to rush to help her.
I hope she gets to do all 7 seasons that they've said they want to do. But i also wish to see her do other movies/series. i think Freya is gonna be a great acress!
Really loved the portrayal of Ciri and Geralt this season, exceptionally well done! Sadly I am not sold in many other things they did (as a passionate books fan that is also partly my fault, I guess), but those two were really good

When I saw one of that first production picture of SE02 Ciri in her new costume and that LOOK on her face, I thought "OMG, I think she nailed it". Turns out she did. Knowing what she is going to go through in the future, I am already chocked up at the though of seeing that on screen, with what will surely be a brilliant performance.

Talking to IGN, The Witcher showrunner and Executive Producer, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, said of the seven season plan, “It would be a straight translation of the books… I think there's just so much material that I don't feel the need to start inventing my own to keep it going.” BIG KAPPA, LMAO So they decided to change the personality of the characters to the worse, removed some good scenes from the book, spoiled the Emhyr's capacity as a father of Ciri 5 season earlier than it should, made Vesemir a guy far from what is in the books, Eskel a drunken looser, Yennefer instead of a teacher and then a "mother" to Ciri, as a woman who would give anything to take back her magic back with teenage attitude, Triss the woman that instead of a big sister is something like an aunt, Kahir is faithful to Emhyr instead of a blackmailed follower that wants to see free his imprisoned dad etc. If you are not going to follow the books just make it clear from the beginning, dont make false statements in order to hype the fans. Follow the books or at least do it in a 50% ffs.

If you should feel betrayed by anyone it should be the author of the books for selling the rights of his work without strict guidelines in the contract. There are few things that I don't like in The Witcher books, games and TV series but in all of them, the pros outweight the cons and they are all enjoyable.

Season 2 confirmed a few things : 1. Henry was a great Geralt from the get go. 2. Anya is actually a great Yennefer. 3. Freya is actually a god damn great Ciri. I feared in season, because of Freya's small frame and apparent fragile body, that she would struggle to be as physical as Ciri is supposed to be. But in season two she is knocking it out of the park, her future is bright as Ciri ! _(and as she's getting older herself, we might end up with her looking as a close as Ciri's design in the Witcher 3 wild hunt, which I can't wait for)_
What are you talking about ,the part with the hog and the bruxia is from the book and ciris training with triss coming to the witcher castle and they finding out she has elder bloood , geralt character development is something you also can read in the book . Yeah they change the story with the witch from the hut is new but thats only so they would have a villan for this season but they put it in such way that ut still shows respect to the book and the main story so

When they started filming season 1 Freya was 17, at the end of season 1 she was 18. Then fast forward how long it took to really film the season because of everything and covid related things. Ended up being around 19-20, she’s 20 right now.
The second season of the series was definitely better than the first season. Congratulations, but there were still a lot of shortcomings. 1-Cast team is very bad. If this series does not fit the books, it cannot be a legend like Game of Thrones. 2-The lens in Geralt's eyes was very contrived. 3- While Vesemir was a father and master figure, he was always the one who made mistakes in the series. It's like Geralt is his teacher. 4-Wild Hunt and Eredin are supposed to be very scary but they are not scary at all. Please make them more scary. 5-Eskel's type and death are very bad. He was not liked by anyone. 6-Political issues are very boring and the cast is very bad, except for Emhry. These are my thoughts for the index to be better. Good luck

The political issue on the series is very unique, something I haven't seen from the other series. I do agree however with Geralt's contact lenses.

The political part is integral to the plot. It can't be abandoned. All the politics in S2 are just a beginning and later become an important part not just for Ciri's journey but for other characters as well.

Netflix completely dropped source material and again made series that shows too much political and social correctness. They could as well called it "Mages" or "Witches", but the video game is one of the best, so Netflix had to use "The Witcher" brand even if their series is completely different.

Gotta say i wasn't expecting someone so young to be that great at acting, but she was just as great as the best adult actors in the series.

Idea for Witcher Season 3, focus more on monster folklore. The political part of Witcher S2 is pretty weak imo
