My Mom loved this song. She used to say it reminded her of all the horrible things my father had done to her before they separated a few years after I was born. She passed away last week from terminal bone cancer. She suffered in her life as much as she suffered in her death. I'm so heartbroken!
I'm so sorry for you man.
I went to see my old friend at the Barber shop. Where's
Richard? 'He's retired', was the reply.
'Really?, How about Sal? Dead silence
'What? What did I say? A long pause
'Sal's dead, shot dead, in the head, in bed'
Evidently, his wife had enough. I won't say anything more.
Sending love ❤️🙏🏽 xxx
Wow, you think you remember just how fantastic her voice was (and how good were the whole band) and then you hear this again. Incredible.
Her voice SO SPECIAL
It's a great song between Love and hate. I love hearing this song. It also gives a good explanation how to treat people the way you want to be treated
What a singer. A powerful and beautiful voice in one.
One of my many Pretenders favorites. Way better than the original recording though! I used to wear Pretenders pins on my blue jean jacket back in the '80s.
The best of Pretender!!!!!!
Christie ,voilà une de mes chanson préféré.sa voix n’a pas d’égale, elle restera dans mon cœur et mes souvenirs la garderont longtemps XX
Saw the Pretenders perform this live. Awesome!
Semplicemente stupenda 🎯
Classic tune😊
This sweetest woman in the world has been pushed too far.

This Song Was Written From A Man's Point Of View
After Realizing He Could Have Lost His Actual Life;
Thinking Real Love Was Just Another Game To Play.
Playing With A Person's Heart; Comes At A Heavy
Price! Mishandled; "It Can Cost You Your Life"
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's five o'clock in the morning
And you're just getting in
You knock on the door
And a voice sweet and low says who is it
She opens up the door and lets you in
Never once asks where have you been
She says are you hungry?
Did you eat yet?
Let me hang up your coat
Pass me your hat
All the time she's smiling
Never once raises her voice
It's five o'clock in the morning
You don't give it a second thought
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
The sweetest woman in the world
Could be the meanest woman in the world
If you make her that way
You keep hurting her
She'll keep being quiet
She might be holding something inside
That'll really, really hurt you one day
I see you're in the hospital
Bandaged from foot to head
In a state of shock
Just that much from being dead
You couldn't believe the girl
Would do something like this, ha
You didn't think the girl had the nerve
But here you are
I guess action speaks louder than words
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate

Complicated song....and who says humans don't have instinctive behavior? lol ....nice presentation of a classic group. :)
"She's a bad ass girly!👊❤️🌹🎶🎵🥁🕶️👊
Great song, always liked your spirit! Hope you get this, always thought of you as the Girl Next Door! Loving peace!
Just heard this on an advert , just brilliant
THE PERSUADERS ORIGINALLY RECORDED AND RELEASED THIS SONG IN "1971."
Yeah but this is a far superior version
@@gymjuiced . I love the original but Chrisy Hynde just totally took this song to a higher level .
@@gymjuiced Hell no.
Legendary!
So real
Great song and great visuals, quite nice to be able to both read the lyrics and watch the action. Now I think I'll be "yin-yanging" and listen to "I Go To Sleep" by that band. Tx for this Rapunzzl!
Thanks for sharing, shared.
Most of the time,
I find myself coming
to terms by being here.
Jovoooo..this song is the best
+luna lekic It was originally sang by an all male group (The Persuaders) Patty Smith re-worded it to make a statement toward unfaithful men.
Billy Bremner -- rhythm guitar and vocals
WT Heck. is there no end to this man's talents? Not enough to kick lumps out of teams up and down England in the 60s and 70s, you sir, you offer this too? Damn!
Que voz, que talento e sensibilidade desta sensacional vocalista Cryssie. ✌️✌️
Ou melhor escrevendo vocalista Chrissie 👆👆👆
Maluku like this song , good year the 80...

AMO DEMAIS essa música simplismente viajo nesse
Ii
Es cierto hay una linea muy fina entre el amor y el odio
Cool song! And I like those cartoons you used :-)
❤
There is a major mistake in the lyrics on this video ; He ended up in the hospital, NOT Her !
Correct, otherwise it just like that she had a suicide attempt and that is not what this song is about
ye!
jamais imaginaria que esta e uma versão de um outro grupo de musica The Persuarders, muito bom ,os negros são responsaveis ou estao compondo varias musicas !!!
Don’t Puch it ….❤ 1:19
Could be the leanest burger in the world, could be the meanest burger in the world, if you cook it that waaaaaaaaaay
You keep heating it, it'll keep being quiet, it might be holding mustard inside that will really really hurt you one day.

Yeah you head Thad well !❤INFJ ‘s you see !😊 3:11
Annie Lennox also dis this, so I put that, this and the original (on "Soul Train"!) In my "..Medusa.." Playlist.
No, I don't agree, it makes sense her saying "her" the song starts off that way & is about the woman retaliating, do you think she would kill him without a fight, she got battered by finally losing her temper!
"I see you in the hospital".. not "i see her in the hospital"....?
...
+Sanja B You're probably right. And it would make more sense! But all the lyrics sites I checked put 'her', and since I'm not a native English speaker I decided to trust on them ... That was before I found out most of them contain obvious mistakes (and they all seem to copy from each other?)
you're
I see you're in a hospital? could be so, but definitely the guy is in the hospital, not the girl :d)
the girl just put him there once she crossed the thin line :d
Yep! from the original song; The Persuaders:
Here I am laying in the hospital
Bandaged from feet to head
Ya see I'm in the state of shock
Just that much from being dead
I didn't think my woman could do something like this to me
I didn't think she had the nerve, so here I am
I guess action speaks louder than words
Sanja B i dont get that part too..
XXXX
You can see me on Soundcloud;sxus;artistname,my best composing piano. I'am 10 years younger than you but i could fall in love with you when i was 17 years old! You are a Terific classic LADY! LOVE YOU!

😂
I love you so much....how are you this morning. I want you to know I yruely appreciate everything that you have done...see you soon babe....Love Pamala
I was never really crazy about this version. I think of the Pretenders as a guitar based band, and there really isn't much guitar on this at all. By the way, Foster & MacIntosh aren't on this..
Okay, thanks, I rectified it.
Persuaders version can't be beat, I'm sorry, Chrissie.
Did she have bad skin
They sucked ALL the soul.. outta this song 🤦🏾🥺
