Yup! I never realized for YEARS my glasses were giving me some pretty bad hyperpigmentation.
My main thing is to not rub my eyes and I use eye drops (recommended by my ophthalmologist). And, I try to stay hydrated all year long🙂💜.

Hello 👋🏾! Thank you for the kind words! Yes, sunscreen 🧴 had helped me A LOT. My dermatologist told me that’s the first thing I need to do in order to reduce the appearance of my dark circles.

Great information. I just started wearing daily sunscreen, SPF 50. I thought most of my life that Black people didn’t need suncreen and didn’t get sun damage. I am experimenting with different brands . The Obagi and Cervae leave my skin gray. I now wear sunglasses when I’m outside, a sun hat & UPF 50 sun protection shirt. Good black don’t crack but it will burn and get cancer. Please do a video on the steps to applying sunscreen and makeup, especially coverage for under eye dark areas. Thank you.

You're so right about those allergies!! Even if you're not rubbing all the time, simply not having them under control can affect them sooooo badly! Find a combo that's safe and affordable and take that meditation every day. It also affects the way you feel overall when they're not under control. I have year round allergies, it can get really miserable if I'm not careful.

Hello 👋🏾! Allergies are soooo real!! My dermatologist had to really break it down for me. The new glasses have helped me soooop much! Super light weight and a correct fix. I can definitely see a difference😉I’m definitely going to check out this sunscreen. I suffer from dark circles and I’m so tired of buying these eye creams they advertise their products can remove dark circles. I’ve never worn sunscreen before😬, but I’m definitely going to look into this brand! I’ve been working on staying hydrated, getting enough rest, using a vitamin C serum, using a good face moisturizer, not using too many products on my face and taking my vitamin D supplements. I’m new to wearing makeup and I have watched so many of your videos on how to apply my concealer. I also just picked up a tint moisturizer from Laura Mercier with SPF 20 and I absolutely love it. It definitely gives me a natural look which I love.

Hi Cammy, I noticed that the current glasses I'm wearing added to the darkness underneath my eyes. Thank you for the recommendations b/c I'm very negligent when it comes to sunscreen. The struggle is real re: dark circles.

My dark circles are allergy shiners. Dust, mold, pollen, certain foods are my issues 😞
Hello 👋🏾! Yes allergies can definitely cause a lot of dark circles unfortunately.
I have to add that my dermatologists has confirmed that I also have the dark patches around my eyes due to my allergies and constant eye rubbing. I have had to result to usinf bio oil gel arpund my eyes and wearing a sleep mask each night to avoid night time scratching.
Yes the eye rubbing will do that!!!! I will also try the bio oil. How often do you use it?
