Your videos are so helpful! Taking my first cruise April 29. In one of your videos you had on a turquoise dress and you said you posted the link. I can’t find it but I am desperately looking for that dress!! Can you post the link? I like this one too, but I believe the other one was aqua/blue with bare shoulders! Thank you!
Hi Ilana! For those insulated tumblers: soak a sponge in water, wring it out. Dribble dish soap on it, and work the soap into the sponge a bit and leave it out to dry. When it's dry, cut it into a few strips. Tuck them in a small zip bag. Now you can wash out the tumblers so your cold beverages don't taste like this morning's coffee. 😀 Toss the sponge pieces after they did their job
Is dish soap what in the U K we call washing up liquid ? To me dish soap is what you wash yourself with and comes in a hard bar. I had to read your tip twice then I realised you didn’t mean what I thought you did . What a fantastic idea.
@julie b Thank you I will try this now I know . Next time I go to Poundland ( UK equivalent to Dollar Tree but not as good ) I will get some cheap sponges.
Holland America has: shampoo conditioner, hand lotion, body wash (all in large wall mounted containers in the shower and next to the sink) lots of hooks, lots of storage space, ventilation and a/c are extremely effective, rooms have motion sensor lights on the floor that lead to and from the bathroom, beach towels, umbrella, makeup mirror, hair dryer, hamper, lots of data ports, lots of power outlets (with different countries’ power adapters). If you choose the soda package they give you a thermal, reuseable cup to keep. I was in an ocean view room but all of these things are available in every room at no cost. There is so much storage space that you can hang everything up and avoid wrinkles. I had a ton of clothes for a 3 week cruise and I wasn’t even close to using all the space. They also have a row of shoe cubbies you can use for other things. There was so much stuff that I bought that I did not need, so read up on the in-room amenities your stateroom will have on the cruise line you are sailing with. HA is very accommodating and I think if I asked for a Rubiks Cube they would have found one for me! HA is a more expensive cruise line but trust me, it is worth it! Also, I brought way too much to wear and lugging it to and from the airport was a nightmare. I was on a 3 week cruise and could have brought less than half of what I took with me. Once you are on board you’ll realize that you don’t care as much about wearing different outfits for different activities ( cold weather cruises may be different, I was on a Hawaiian cruise). I got up every day, pretty much just threw on a casual dress and nice (not flip flops) sandals. Sometimes I’d wear capris and a blouse. Things that could go anywhere, including dining. Changed out the jewelry and a fancier pair of shoes as needed. I even used some of my casual dresses and cover ups as pjs. I also brought a couple of fancier dresses and a jumpsuit for dressy nights. If you want to know all things HA I can help you out!
Thank you so much @surlywithfabshoes! We are going on our 1st ever cruise, 7 day Alaska on HA. I really appreciate you sharing these things! Any other tips?
One of our favorite cruise essentials (ok, all kinds of travel essentials) is an assortment of cotton bandannas. Many restrooms in ports run out of paper towels or have only hands dryers, which we don't like. Also, if you get hot, you can wet them down and put them around your neck. There are truly dozens (of not hundreds) of uses. I also bring "potty packs", snack size zipper bags with toilet paper. I usually break the TP into 4- square lengthsand fold them up. A true life saver. Finally, I make Thieves Oil hand sanitizer, which also works well for deodorizing.
Hi Elana I'm recently new to your channel. I was scrolling UA-cam and just stumbled across it. I just cannot believe it. I am in love so in love with cruising and love to keep up on all the cruise news. You are a delightful host! Thanks for having me. definitely your calling
I have to say you are an outstanding presenter. I am cruising after 4 years and I find all of your videos so inspiring and entertaining and informative. You are great and I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work. 🎉
Hi Ilana, not sure if you're still checking for comments here or not, but one thing I wanted to mention that's helpful on cruises with beach days or destinations is a pop-up sun shade. My husband isn't one for sitting in the sun and since we like to go off the beaten path, we sometimes end up on beaches with no loungers or umbrellas. The kind of shade I'm talking about is actually like a small tent, but much more light weight and comes in a carrying case with a shoulder strap. It's like a flat disk when packaged, and operates the same way as the pop-up, mesh laundry "baskets" you recommend. It's been handy not just to get shade, but also to change in and out of swim gear in. It can be staked down or kept in place by weighting the inside, either with our belongings or with rocks. It zips closed for privacy. Another benefit of using it is that if we're both in the water, we can more easily keep on eye on it, both for protecting against theft and to orient us back to where we got in the water (sometimes it's hard to see where your lounger is on those really packed beaches). It shakes off well so sand isn't a problem and it fits in on top of our clothes in our bigger suitcase. There are a ton available on Amazon. Cheers.
I always bring a travel size lysol wipes and/or spray. It's great for wiping down the cabin and even your heavily used or touched items such as your phone or lanyard.
As always IIana great job! One great tip for any day nappers or if you don't want to wake up early by sunlight, I bring a few strong clips to help keep the drapes closed. At home we use them as chip clips :) Happy sailing everyone! Sharon
I recently started using laundry detergent sheets. It’s easy to put a few in an envelope and place it in your luggage. The one I use is fine for washing machines and hand washing too!
I am a newbie cruiser. We leave April 15th. I watched a ton of cruise videos, but I have to say yours is one of my favorites. I love how entertaining you are. Thanks for all the information. I have so many questions. Linda
I have always taken jewellry on cruise and finally realize I really don't like wearing most of it. The heat usually gets to me, and at best, I might put on a better pair of earings. On my recent Med cruise, I took 2 necklaces and 2 pairs of earings and that was more than I needed.
I always take Turkish Towels, can use as a wrap, a cover up, a towel and beach blanket. They dry very very fast, are super light and take up a ton less space instead of cruise towels on excursions.
I find that a rash guard is amazing if you burn easy. I have a short sleeve one and a long sleeve one depending on how long I plan to be at the beach. I’m very fair and turn into an absolute lobster.
Instead of towel, bands, or towel clips, I use the stretch bands that you use for working out attention fans, and they serve a dual purpose. I can work out with them if I’d like and I use them to hold my towels in plus it’s easy to pack.
Ilana your videos are always spot on! One more packing essential for us is an electrical powerboard for all your charges or other electrical items - Turn one powerpoint into 4 or 5! For us international travellers (we're from Sydney, Australia), we obviously have to bring a power adaptor aswell - but again - one power socket + one adaptor + one powerboard from home - turns one power socket into 4! Happy Trails!
Long-time traveler, first-time cruiser. I can take a long, multi-country trip in a 40L backpack, but you have mentioned so many things that are specific to cruises. Thanks so much! I've shared it with the other 16 gals I'm cruising with. Thanks so much! 😊
To pack chain necklace that might tangle, drop the chain through a drinking straw and re fasten . No packing cubes? roll undies and socks tight ,put in a Ziplock and sit on it to squish
Thanks for all the great tips! It may have already been suggested but we take Command hooks. You are right that some of the Carnival ships do not have metal walls so the Command hooks work so well. Easy to take off and doesn’t damage the wall.
Thank you for the informative videos. I recently cruised with my husband, I packed some magnetic hooks and they were great to have for hanging up our hats/visor and have them out of the way. I gave you credit when my husband said what a great idea it was. Thank you!
Your 50 Cruise Essentials video is amazing! I love that you move through the items quickly and provide all the links for us to explore if they are of interest. I am a long-time cruiser but have not cruised yet since the pandemic...you reminded me of all the tips and tricks I knew (but forgot) AND some great new ideas as well, Just a couple of thoughts: The over the door hanger organizer can be used on the outside of the bathroom or closet door for non-toiletry items like sunglasses, tickets/lists or notes, sunscreen, hats, bug spray, flip flops etc. If people are bringing wrinkle type clothing (tux or gowns etc.) they can roll (or fold) items in dry-cleaning bags (which seriously works amazing!) so they may not need a garment bag. Might seem weird, but remember to use the night table drawers! They are great for snacks, meds, electronics and first aid kit. Also, just want to remind people to be kind to each other...there is still a pandemic going on and we need to be considerate of everyone's health boundaries while cruising. Keep up the great videos...I am a fan!
Great video, thanks! Would not have thought of quite a few of those. I feel like you should have a segment on Today or Good Morning America for cruising advice! You’d be so good at that.
Thank you, thank you thank you for this video! I recently went on a cruise and watched several of your videos on cruise essentials. I purchased the cruise luggage tags. No more taping and stapling the printouts to the luggage! The night light is the real deal. No more leaving the bathroom light on all night. I also purchased the hooks for the walls which kept us organized. The makeup bag was very useful and sturdy for all of my “stuff”. Finally, the multiple plug adaptor is a must. There was only one electrical socket on the Carnival Dream and this thing was a life saver for us.
Nix the storebought Wrinkle release. I've found that plain old water in a spray bottle works just great!. releases wrinkles in seconds....Pack an empty travel size spray bottle, then fill with water on ship/destination.
I have also decided the end of the carry on. One suitcase and a small duffle. That will be it. After 2 medium size bags and a carry on and a small backpack on my 2 week and then 1 week in Europe cruise, I was exhausted especially trying to put all that luggage on and off a train. Never again. One bag, and a small duffle should do it.
Hi ilana, i love your great channel. I prepare myself to cruise one Day. I am maybe not alone, but it seems to me that leaving your work, you gave all your energy into UA-cam. Don’t put that much pression on yourself. Maybe only one nice video a week could be fine, so i can find the time to watch it quietly, appreciate all your smart ideas and source some of the products. ♡
Thank you Ilana. One other item we like to bring is a night light (battery operated) that stays “on” - no need to move to get it to turn on. Sometimes the staterooms are so dark you can’t see at all so we find it helpful to have one on low constantly. Also, the fan you suggested would be good for us that like a little “white” noise as well as the air circulation. Thanks again.
The bathroom doors in the cabins are noisy. One thing I always bring is a stretchy headband. I put it over the bathroom door handles inside and out, twisted then stretched around to cover the latch. It is so much quieter when one gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.
As you suggested I purchased the luggage tags they were great put them on when I got my luggage from baggage claim so there weren't too many tags on the luggage. Passport purse was also great everything we needed was at hand and it fit into the safe on board and that's where it stayed. Also purchased the waterproof phone case and we loved them. The phone fits nicely along with our cruise card and money and credit cards, didn't have to worry about leaving valuables on the beach when we were in the water.
My oh my, I’m exploring a whole new world here. I’m an experienced air traveller, but in August I will embark on HAL’s Rotterdam for my first cruise, destination Norway. I’m having soooooo much fun shopping for hooks, tag holders etc. I’m not sure about decorating the door though🤔 Keep up the good work👌🏻
We take swim shoes to use in the shower - it can get slippery and if you have any balance issues it can be like having your own adhesive safety strips...
Hello Ilana! Just to give you an enormous thank you! We just had our first cruise at the beginning of September, and we could not make it without you!. You have been part of our travel, our way of packing, what to bring and what to buy. We have already subscribed to your channel and give you thumbs up in your videos. We have been saying even during our cruise, "Thanks, Ilana, for your advice" in any of the items we used, or the advice you gave, and we followed :) So Thank you, again, in a more personal way!
Hi Ilana, your videos on travel tips have been very helpful. My 74 year old aunt and I cruise semi regularly. Here’s a tip that we’ve found as a great idea which works for us. We take our old underwear, eg: bras and knickers on the cruise along with some paper bags. After wearing these items we place them in the paper bag and throw them away. Essentially we put these items aside during the year, take them on the cruise and not return home with them. No one ever sees these items so no problem. I so enjoy your video clips, you’re doing a wonderful job. Cheers Mo O’Sullivan Victoria, Australia
So many great tips. I watched it twice right away as we are going on our first cruise in 12 years. I love the laundry basket. We took it on our Thanksgiving vacation last year and they were wonderful. I use the Burt's Bees tinted lip balm. I have picked up a number of things you recommended. So looking forward to use them on our Norway Iceland cruise!!!
@@LifeWellCruised We fly to Copenhagen June 19 and the cruise leaves on the 22nd We are taking my parents ashes to bury at sea on Holland America at their request.
Hi Alana, One of the things I take on cruises now that I didn't take before the shutdown in March of 2020 is a first aid kit and that is because the medical center is not open 24 hours it has open times and times it is closed so having a first aid kit makes me prepared in case I get a small cut and I find that it is not worth going to the medical center on a cruise ship for just a small cut. It is also recommended to take a first aid kit with you when you get off the ship especially for going on shore excursions.
Great list! I have toothbrush covers with suction cups and stick them to the mirror. I also take a nightlight. I plug it into the razor outlet in the bathroom and leave the door open a bit but ONLY WHEN WE ARE IN THE CABIN. Always bring a highlighter so you can mark the events you want to attend in the dailies.
Lots of good tips! Love towel clips. Coffee - I’m a coffee snob, don’t normally drink Starbucks, but their instant packets are usually much better than “free” hotel or cruise coffee, and on Disney cruises you can get hot water at the drink station (I don’t know about other cruise lines.) I drink black unsweetened coffee all day. Love the cruise planner!
Thank you for all of your tips. I liked that the dress you showed is available in a bunch of different sizes and is very reasonable in cost. Also thank you for letting us know that the travel night light is back in stock because every time I tried to order it before it was always out of stock. One additional item to possibly consider that I always bring is a couple of extra batteries( example AA) for all of my battery powered items on my trip that use the AA batteries. I always end up using those extra batteries by the end of my trip.
Hey Ilana... that Blue anti theft bag.... take an extra empty key ring and clip the two zipper clips to it to add additional security to deter anyone from trying to unzip it while you are in large geoup areas or even if hanging feom a chair. You will notice when they start tugging at it or it will take longer for them to try to get in and they will give up in pretty much short order.
Your videos are the most informative on u tube! I have cruised several times but still learn something from each 1. Towel clips are a great idea . Agree with all of your suggestions especially - put ribbons or something on luggage to make them stand out! A lot of bags look the same. Happy Cruising!
We cruise 🛳 with DCL so magnetic 🪝 and clips are essential since you can't hook things like organizers over your door. We like towel clips over bands plus it's easier to spot your stuff when you're on the ⛱. The larger travel cup is another thing that's a must there too as those cups at the drink stations are tiny (fountain drinks are included with them which is a nice perk). We also always bring decorative magnets for our door 🚪. Disney people are the definition of Extra (but in the best way).😆 🤣
I am leaving for a ten day Alaskan cruise in May. I bought a Yeti 10 ounce wine tumbler to take with me. Figured it would work well for morning coffee and cocktails later in the day. I have written my cabin number on the bottom. Thank you Iliana for all your suggestions!!!
This video is one of your best thank you so much I agree about the travel on bags. They make wonderful bags for travel, and they have RFID proofing in them, which makes them great and lock together. It’s really a super pack. They also make really great pouches to put miscellaneous items in as well that you can see through.
Hi llama, Thank you for all the tips. Just received our night light & waterproof lanyard in the mail. We cruise in November to Mexico & the group cruise in January with LA Lido Loca, Tony.
Great list of ideas. We have to fly to sail so pack carry on only so trim those down a bit but always the magnets, alarm clock, coffee mug and water bottle.
Yes I absolutely love the dress so I bought it 😁 so comfy and I went on my first of many cruises in May and your videos were so helpful Tysm I also bought my packing cubes on Amazon and they were so useful and my suitcase was so organized… I also used my flat iron to iron some of my clothes lol 😂.
I have that dress! In fact I have it in two colors. Packs perfectly and doesn't wrinkle. I discovered that you can bring an international converter, so you can use the European plug for an extra outlet.
I watched a video tour of our cabin (well, not our exact cabin, but you know what I mean) and took note of the outlets. There were two European outlets, so I bought two adapters, which each have four North American outlets, two USB-A outlets, and a USB-C outlet on it. The only thing to be careful of is the voltage (e.g., most hair styling tools have too much voltage), so be careful of what you use with it!
Hi Ilana, Day 2 today on Celebrity Summit we spent in the Solarium and Persian Garden spa's saunas and rain forest showers. Then we walked Decks 2-9 back to front and back again for exercise. Going to dinner in Blu shortly. Hi from Bob and Jill on the Summit.
PS Update: I ordered the exact dress that you had on and absolutely love it. I even got it on sale on Amazon at a reduced price. I also ordered the collapsible hamper. It folds flat nicely to pack in the suitcase, but I was unable to get it in the circular shape it came in! LOL Thank you once again for all these wonderful tips!!!
Instead of a hamper we bring a large mesh bag and store under the bed so we don’t have to see or smell dirty clothes. Also comes in handy if we have to do laundry somewhere I have laundry soap sheets that take up little room
Towel clips. I love them. I lost my first set throwing them into the laundry skip on the pool deck with my dirty towels. Shower cubicle on Queen Elizabeth not magnetic. Bought special rust proof magnetic hooks to hang up wet swimwear but wouldn’t hold. Had to use them in cabin instead. Love all these type of videos. Think next purchase has to be the waterproof phone case.
I have the un foldable "make-up" bag, it is now following me on any travel, all my bathroom stuff fits and is well organized. I just make sure to put bottles with liquids and toothpaste in each a small ziplock bag first to avoid nasty spills, if I put in my suitcase and travel by plane, I’ll even put a clip wrap under the caps and twist caps properly before packing… never had a spill but it’s all to avoid it ;)
I always take ear plugs just in case there is lot of noise around when I am trying to sleep. The wax ones are perfect for me as they soften with the body heat and you hardly know you are wearing them.
I always highly recommend ginger root vitamins. They're easy to grab at any walgreens/cvs/walmart ect. and everyone my mom and I have given them to have done so much better and have not been so sleepy like those dramamine type medicines can make you.
On my recent cruise on Oasis, I had a balcony room. There was a sign saying that the a/c would shut off if the balcony door was open to save energy. Makes sense.

Wonderful idea! I was looking for something more portable. Thanks for the tip! 😊
I take mini electric tea lights on ally trips. Left in the bathroom they provide just enough light to find way around.
Great idea!
I always bring a travel size lysol wipes and/or spray. It's great for wiping down the cabin and even your heavily used or touched items such as your phone or lanyard.
Interesting and comprehensive list of items. Not sure I have enough space now to bring my wife 😂
With an extra person, you can bring more stuff. 🤣
exactly what i was thinking. like, my goodness, how many bags does she bring??!! 😅

Just a couple of thoughts:
The over the door hanger organizer can be used on the outside of the bathroom or closet door for non-toiletry items like sunglasses, tickets/lists or notes, sunscreen, hats, bug spray, flip flops etc.
All great tips that you added!! Thank you! I’ll share your dry cleaner bag tip in a future video. I’ve heard others also say this really works
Thanks for the tip about the dry cleaning bags! I will have to try that!
Great video, thanks! Would not have thought of quite a few of those.
I feel like you should have a segment on Today or Good Morning America for cruising advice! You’d be so good at that.
Thanks so much!!! Now how fun would that be 😊
Yes to the no longer changing up my jewelry or wearing make-up since the shut down...
So glad these items/tips were helpful:)
I am headed out on the Dream in just a couple of months.. can’t wait!! :)
Love that dress! And the tips. : )
Nix the storebought Wrinkle release. I've found that plain old water in a spray bottle works just great!. releases wrinkles in seconds....Pack an empty travel size spray bottle, then fill with water on ship/destination.
I love your sundress!
I ordered one for my upcoming cruise. Thanks for all the great tips!
Great ideas
The movement sensor nightlight has an "ON" mode, so you don't have to use the sensor.
Y
They are great! I have had some for a few years! I just happened to see them on Amazon.
You are fantastic . I thought I knew everything I needed to know after 12 cruises but I have learned so much from your videos . Thank you
Clothes pins. Hanging wet suites in the shower
I’m starting to get excited for our Mediterranean cruise! Lots of great tips to try out. Thanks so much!
Awe you’re too kind! I’m so happy that your first cruise went so well, and that my videos could help :)
Cheers Mo O’Sullivan
Victoria, Australia
Smart idea!
Frees up some space for a souvenir coming home.
Could you do a video on going on a cruise on a shoestring.? As In under $2,0000.Also is taking Gryhound bus cheaper than flying ?
I do the same thing. Old underwear, pjs, and socks. They don’t come home
That’s so exciting!! Thanks for recommending Burt’s Bees. I’ll have to give it a try. When is your cruise?
@@LifeWellCruised We fly to Copenhagen June 19 and the cruise leaves on the 22nd
We are taking my parents ashes to bury at sea on Holland America at their request.
What wonderful suggestions! Though I have done many cruises, I loved the new suggested items! Great information!!! Thank you!
Thanks so much!
Great tips, Ilana! Very useful information!! Thank you.
You’re so right!! I realized after I filmed this it should have been included. Thanks for the reminder
A hanging shoe rack is very helpful, too.
Thanks! Even after 166 cruises your ideas are helpful!
😊
That was a excellent list, I think I pack and use about 90% of the things you have on that list for my cruises.
Thanks!! Glad to hear it lined up with a lot of the things you find useful on a cruise
Thanks for your tips about the tags and the sponges with dried detergent. They were super helpful and saved our clothes.
I have that dress but mine has short sleeves. I get a lot of compliments on it.
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!! So glad you’re enjoying the Ultimate Cruise Planner. Thanks for your purchase 😊
Such a good tip! I haven’t thought of extra batteries
@@LifeWellCruised Thank you
This is a new tip for me too! Thank you!
@@twaunniebusse7262 Great tip!
Disney people are the definition of Extra (but in the best way).😆 🤣
Love your comments! I feel like I’d fit right in on Disney 😉😂
Fantastic cover up! And the bag? Fabulous.
Thank you for this video!!
It was really usefull!!
My experience was the best because I was prepared for almost everything!! 👍🤗
Hi llama, Thank you for all the tips. Just received our night light & waterproof lanyard in the mail. We cruise in November to Mexico & the group cruise in January with LA Lido Loca, Tony.
That’s great! Have an amazing cruise - I’m sure it will be loads of fun 🛳🎉👏
towel bands always work best for me!
Great list of ideas. We have to fly to sail so pack carry on only so trim those down a bit but always the magnets, alarm clock, coffee mug and water bottle.
Great ideas!!
Taking my first cruise in may so thank you for the tips !
The Downy Wrinkle is amazing!
The full face snorkel gear is new and fantastic no more mouth over the hose to breath
That’s great to hear
Yes I absolutely love the dress so I bought it 😁 so comfy and I went on my first of many cruises in May and your videos were so helpful Tysm I also bought my packing cubes on Amazon and they were so useful and my suitcase was so organized… I also used my flat iron to iron some of my clothes lol 😂.
Lol it!! That flat iron is a good trick
Thanks Fran. Yes it’s great to have clothes that don’t wrinkle
Yup you read my mind, thanks for the link. I just bought the dress 😊
You Deserve a Big High Five for this excellent video. Brillant and Well Done! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks for putting all the travel hacks together! 😊😊🚢🚢
Love the dress❤️❤️ Thank you for all the great travel trips.
Thanks so much
Thank you for the link to the dress you're wearing! It looks super cute and versatile. 😍😍
So glad you got it on sale! Lol, the hamper trick to refold is to twist like a figure 8
Can you please post a link for that dress? I am leaving looking for it too!!!
Sorry to ask again but the name/link for cute dress?? Please
Bring a sponge wet it and apply some dish soap to wash the glasses from the room or your tumblers
What’s the name of the dress? Think it’s so pretty. 😂
The Binos is a great idea. Thank you
Thank you so much for all of this information! Your videos and YOU are AWESOME!! 🎉
Instead of a hamper we bring a large mesh bag and store under the bed so we don’t have to see or smell dirty clothes. Also comes in handy if we have to do laundry somewhere
I have laundry soap sheets that take up little room
Thank you for all of your amazing tips and ideas
Towel clips. I love them. I lost my first set throwing them into the laundry skip on the pool deck with my dirty towels. Shower cubicle on Queen Elizabeth not magnetic. Bought special rust proof magnetic hooks to hang up wet swimwear but wouldn’t hold. Had to use them in cabin instead. Love all these type of videos. Think next purchase has to be the waterproof phone case.
I have the un foldable "make-up" bag, it is now following me on any travel, all my bathroom stuff fits and is well organized. I just make sure to put bottles with liquids and toothpaste in each a small ziplock bag first to avoid nasty spills, if I put in my suitcase and travel by plane, I’ll even put a clip wrap under the caps and twist caps properly before packing… never had a spill but it’s all to avoid it ;)
Love it! I bring static guard!
I have a travel med bag with small baggies for multiple medications instead of bringing bottles and boxes.
I’ve done 19 cruises but always search for a packing list .I will save this to remind me for next time
We are taking a “siblings” cruise and I’ll be sharing this with my sisters! Thank you Ilana!
That’s awesome!! Have an amazing cruise and thanks for sharing 😊
My husband and I cruise and travel a lot. This is good information. 😊I found some things to buy. We are going on a Mediterranean cruise in September.
I always take ear plugs just in case there is lot of noise around when I am trying to sleep. The wax ones are perfect for me as they soften with the body heat and you hardly know you are wearing them.
Towelbands hands down! love them-The clips sometimes fail...when you sit the towels fall down. Towel bands never! Less space too!
Interesting. I’m definitely seeing fans of both
I always highly recommend ginger root vitamins. They're easy to grab at any walgreens/cvs/walmart ect. and everyone my mom and I have given them to have done so much better and have not been so sleepy like those dramamine type medicines can make you.
I have been on several cruises and this was extremely helpful for me. Thanks
On my recent cruise on Oasis, I had a balcony room. There was a sign saying that the a/c would shut off if the balcony door was open to save energy. Makes sense.
Great tips & lovely dress 😊
Yes! Greatest tip: magnetic clip
Nightlight for inside cabins a must. They are really dark at night and if you need a trip to the bathroom are really helpful.
Why dont u leave the bathroom light on and shut the door almost completely closed?
@@racquel127 you could do that as well however been in rough seas where the door would swing slightly back and forth if not closed tight.
