It was Jordan Peterson that got me to even consider opening a Bible - that was coming from an interest in behavioural psychology. I watched his Genesis series and found it fascinating and then thought I better read this book he was speaking on. I didn't get much out of it alone so a friend said I ought to join a Bible study online - I did (they were gracious enough to let me in as a non-believer and let me ask all sorts of questions without being annoyed or defensive) and it was through many many months of study (both in groups and alone) that the truth became apparent to me, I just couldn't deny it. I believed with my head (I did a lot of extra study on translation, dating the books, what other religious texts had to say etc) but it took a while for me to truly accept Jesus as my saviour. I got baptised in 2022 and am an active member of my local church and my whole outlook on life has changed drastically.

Jesus said "Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may observe them doing so. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you." Matthew 6:5-6
Jesus also said "By their fruits, you will know them."
To me, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson is more of a Christian than anyone else I have seen in this generation. He revived the true Church, the depth of his impact may not be understood for a long time.

I actually think this interview had the possibility of going very south quite quickly bc Jordan was supposed to be interviewing John Rich, not the other way around. I really think this was a divine appointment. I believe God gave John the words to speak boldly. He saw the opportunity to witness to him boldly and he took it. You could see Jordan hasn’t heard these things before in that way and his spirit really took it in.

I agree with most of what was discussed but people forget that Jesus established the one true church and many of the things that were added can be found in both the New and Old Testament such as confessing to a priest is found in Matthew 16

I have been completely transformed by the Holy Spirit and now have a powerful relationship with the Lord. I pray Jordan will experience this someday, as well. @@pr10r87 I would add obedience but the masses have disobeyed God starting with his Holy day 7th day Sabbath, man made traditions don’t matter what God said matters
      Hebrews 4
      King James Version
4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The word religion literally means relationship. To bind, to bind yourself to Christ.
This idea that Christ wasn’t religious is ridiculous he was an extremely observant Jew. So much so he prayed the Psalms for hours in the garden.

@@pr10r87 What happened to obeying God. Christian’s have seemed to forget that JESUS Christ obeyed his father’s commandments. The devil has done a wonderful job at making people believe that they will be saved while doing what they “ THINK “ God will approve.
The Bible gives instructions on righteousness according to Christ. We are not created to serve ourselves. 2 commandments sum it up
      1. Love God above all else ( which means obey him above all else)
      2. Love your neighbor as yourself
( even those who hate you)
Now how many Christians do you know do that?
Well with Christ we can do ALL things that please our heavenly father.
Without Christ no one is going to make it through the pearly gates.
      John 15:5
      King James Version
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
By the way if you are still listening to a preacher that is telling you to ignore or disobey the commandments of God. Know for sure Satan is giving him instructions.
      Obey Jesus Christ
      Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
      King James Version
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

The gospel of our salvation (Eph. 1:13) is clearly stated by the apostle Paul:
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. (1 Cor. 15:3-4)
Eternal security, remember we can't lose our salvation, once were saved we cant lose it. Its comforting to know

I love this interview... God is using John Rich in powerful ways. The first time I heard him speak was on Tucker Carlson and his boldness to speak Biblical truth blew me away. Now to hear more of his story and his integrous move to step out of the "machine" and all of the record labels and go off on his own all in order to set a powerful example to his kids is even more remarkable. It's no wonder that God saw fit to make John the one who would sing those anointed lyrics of Revelation and then go on to speak more publicly about Him. The Bible says the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. John in his commitment to the Lord as well as his proven boldness to act in obedience is the kind of laborer that God is looking for to bring people into the kingdom. I am inspired and convicted to live my life more boldly laboring for the Lord. I couldn't love this interview more and I pray God uses it to bring countless people to Him. To God be the glory!

Wow, this song hit me like a ton of bricks, I quit watching the interview to hear it, and it really resonated with me, but not because of the song itself, so much as the way Mr. Rich describes how he came to write it. I had a very similar experience about 9 years ago, when I heard a friend was declared Stage 4 cancer. A mother with a young family, a beautiful woman inside and out. While she was being treated with chemotherapy she jotted down some seemingly random portions from scripture, which found their way to my email inbox from her husband, who had written to me asking for prayers.
When I read what she had written I was driven, that’s the best way to describe the feeling, to put her words into a song, I felt it might be helpful.
I’m no songwriter, but the pen just wrote a stream of consciousness and I was struggling to hold it back. Anyway, the song was written in under 15 minutes, lyrics and tune the whole bit. I honestly don’t know how it happened but I had a friend who was more musically able take a look at it, and by the end of the day she had polished it up a bit, and sent it back to me demanding I send it to my sick friend. I procrastinated a day or so, but in the end I figured what harm would it do?
What it did was helped my friend and her family through her eventual death and her husband now has seen fit to use it to help him through mourning her loss.
No question that this was Gods work. At least in my mind. So your story in a way gives mine some credibility in that I was simply open to follow what was pushing me into doing something very unusual for no benefit to myself other than I had possibly helped someone else who needed it.
I’ve cherished that memory and so thank you for validating what I know to be true. God can use these small things in ways we can’t imagine and gives them power.

Incredible BOLDNESS from John Rich not just on the Truth of the Gospel nor John’s own conversion and walk back to the Lord, but on his calling Dr.Peterson to task on his own belief and acceptance of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I so appreciated the candor of the Dr. of his reasons for an assumed lack of submission to Christ. But the Lord calls every person to a different task in His kingdom. Petersons task seems to be one of invitation to study the Word from a logical and pragmatic perspective. This has opened the door to so many non believers who God so loves. Peterson provides a foundation for the Holy Spirit to truly beckon people to seek Him further.
Not all believers are called to be preachers. Some are called to be teachers. And I think that Dr.Peterson is just that. He is planting seeds of belief and the Lord will grow them❤

The Holy Spirit is all over this my heart is overwhelmed by him asking that question to Dr. Peterson...what is it that terrifies you about Jesus actually being who the Bible says he is. It was like he asked us all. Like something inside dropped and I realized I didn't even as a life long professed believer who loves Jesus and has asked Him to teach me how to love Him better and please not take His hand away...that in that moment whilst I suffer constantly with anxiety that I myself have not truly believed He is exactly He; as if He couldn't do for me what He would do for anyone who accepts Him as savior. As if I had not truly relinquished what control or illusion of that that I myself had and trusted Him with that completely. Now I just want to be able to do that...Abba I'm waving my flag my banner is yours! Jesus take it all and guide me. My soul is willing and my flesh is weak! I love you Abba God! Jesus my savior. I never ever want to be turned over to reprobate! Abba get this message to everyone! The fear of the Lord is present and powerful. Thank you two for being vessels.

Jesus denounced his woman his mother that he supposedly never called her mom. Or Ama in yossish like all Jews ?
I'm confused that God felt he had to become human in order to become a change in this world but yet it seems that Jesus was doing just fine had he been able to keep on with his ministries. Because the world is worse off now and then if not it's just as equally bad same thing going on back then as it is now so instead we have to be destroyed us being America and others.
So he came down here to be our salvation and he died on the cross of horrible horrific the worst death anybody could ever even dream about and I mean I don't so much pain to get the pain I think he forgot to pay but the emotions that went through this man's heart sickest thing that of anybody goes through that hurt emotionally.

This has always been such an encouraging verse to me regarding prayer - Romans 8: 26-27 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God."
We won't always know the right answers, or the right things to pray for, but for those of us who are filled with the spirit, we can trust that where we fail, He will not.

People will also still want him to say it even after this podcast especially at the end of this podcast. every word Dr. Peterson have said is in the direction of CHRIST. Take it or leave it but i know who i have followed for about almost 10 years now. Following him and watching his podcast all the time made me a better Christian and a better thinker after falling out of the church several times. Take the message and the message will lead you where he wants you to go and that will be where he also wants to be or is already at.
Lastly, Jordan has done his homework, and as an intellectual and some one who wants to bridge the gap i think it is better for him to do it silently about his believe in Christ. He is trying to bring everyone else along the narrow path as simple as that. God be with him.

Dr. Peterson. I understand, you are flying under the radar. Your deep belief saturates every word you utter. You are spreading the Word to the masses in a very different way than a Preacher does. HOLD your cards to your chest. You can reach people through intellect instead of through the altar or pew. Most has turned to the bible to be able to follow along your lectures, my sons included, in this age of 'intellectualism' the way you bring people to Gods Word is exactly how God wants it.

He is the voice that brought me back out of the darkness in his writings. I thank God he did. I'll respect his keeping his own faith private as he peaches the message in his next 3 books. Dr. Peterson you are speaking to a born again Christian during this interview.
I’ve listened to your podcasts and videos since my deployment in 2022, and I’ve always loved hearing your psychological breakdown of biblical stories and also how you think. I’m a born again Christian and listening to you has given me stronger faith than on my own, but I’ve had many times where I hear you driving a good point home and then stop before God’s best message is conveyed. Listening to John Rich at the end here was like hearing my thoughts about you of 2 years, being spoke into existence.
I honestly love your heart and your conscious, and how you conduct yourself and you have made many people better versions of themselves.
I really hope you listen to what John told you at the end with the belief that God is “All Knowing, All Powerful, and All Loving”. I trust God more than anyone including myself.

Dr. Peterson, I am SO happy that you had John “That’s Why I Pray” Rich on the show. Like Loretta Lynn, “I was country when country wasn’t cool,” and like John Rich, I grieve and mourn the destruction of country music to the Woke. Although classical music is my first love and is woven into the warp and weft of my soul, country music is almost as deeply woven.
And I’ve never, in my thirty-five years of being a Christian, felt spiritual warfare like I do now. I’m so glad that you talked it all over with John Rich.
Dearest Dr. Peterson, I am so sorry to hear about the failure of your appeal in Canada. I know it isn’t a surprise and that you’re well prepared for it but I hate what you are going through. I can’t help but feel worried for you and the emotional distress this is causing you. Sometimes I don’t know what possible difference one simple message of love and support can make to someone who gets so many of them, but here’s mine: I stand for and with you, and I’m not going anywhere. I have you in my heart, Dr. Peterson, always. Anxious to hear your update with Mikhaila to know how you are doing and feeling and what your next steps might be.
Here is the most enormous hug, and longing for the day when I can once again give you that in person,
    And Ruth Anne’s love ❤

Is it true about the appeal ? That's bad news, but no surprise. I'll be buying "We Who Wrestle With God" in November, and I hope it sells millions of copies to help recoup some of Dr Peterson's legal fees. It is lovely to see him looking so well in a smart pale green shirt. I had no idea that he played the piano, that's my main instrument too and I composed a piece myself today, to remember an excellent cycle mechanic I used to take my racing bike to a few years back. Yesterday I learned quite by chance that this friendly and skilled man had taken his own life in the fairly recent past. So a haunting melody just came to me this morning, even if it doesn't quite fit with the title "The Cyclist" in some ways. RIP to a great cycle mechanic who never ripped off his customers.

One thing that Mr Rich said that got me wanting to tell the world and yell it out is about the churches/congregations/parishes out there trying to gat the crowds or keep the crowds and forgetting about The Mission Statement.
Why this got me all revved up is the teaching/warning about resembling the Pharisees.
We, now have become identical in nature to the Pharisees back 2,000 years ago. Everything Jesus said to them (to their faces) He could say to so many of the priests/preachers/pastors on Earth in 2024.
Needless to say, this is yet another sign of the times we are in.
No denying it any more, the men in the temples and synagogues have missed the boat again!
    To quote the song:
The King of Kings is coming and it won't be long.
ALL thanks and praise be to God.

It's very difficult to explain discernment, the will of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, Father God and Our Lord Jesus Christ when you don't have belief and faith. Things happen around you that you cannot explain except that you know because you have created that relationship with our God to know that He is the one telling you and guiding you ❤
