I’d love to see you guys travel around Europe in the same way you’re travelling around the Southern USA. There are so many unknown and amazing foodie places on this continent.
I think much of the world views American food as mostly garbage and fast food because that's all the gets exported globally. It's nice to have some representation of what actual American food is that is rarely represented properly.
As a Kentuckian born and raised, thank y’all for coming to Kentucky. I feel like so many people from other countries visit places like New York and California and think they know what America is like, but we do things so different around here. Hope you enjoyed all the little joys of the Bluegrass State.
Yeah...... But.... Kentucky's not really a Southern state. It's more of a Midwestern state. You ask anyone who actually lives down here In the South. They will deny you .....sorry
Let’s give it up for Ed and all behind the scenes crew planning/filming/editing. The footage of your entire trip is excellent, and your delight at the slugger museum was palpable. We had so much fun journeying with you and look forward to future travel adventures.💚
I've said it on other videos, and I'll say it again. Thank you so much for showcasing a part of America that doesn't get near enough exposure. Yes we have crazy people, yes we have problems, yes we can be fanatical. But, as is clear in your videos, there are so many of us who are devoted to our crafts, value quality and intentionally, and care about the environment and our communities.
As someone who is on the border of the North vs South of the US, all anyone ever hears about are the crazies. The outwardly racist, those who worship confederate ideologies, etc. But I strongly believe that if people did more travelling to areas they think are cesspools, the more I they would see them for what I've seen them as. Just normal communities of hardworking folks who like to come together in a community. We've got a big problem of too much judging and not enough coming together and learning about each other.
@@jjkurtz03 It's just too bad that the politicians elected by the people of the state are trying to make life so horrible for any and every minority group in the state.

Far too many of America's crazies in the east/west coast of America paint the country in a bad light. The so called "fly over states" is the actual heart of what is America.
As someone who lives in Louisville, it is absolutely incredible that you guys came here. Kentucky has a really good food scene but most people don't know about it. Thank you for shining a light on this great state!
As a Kentucky native living in Lexington, it feels so surreal that our favorites from across the pond ended up at our favorite restaurant down the street (OBC). Glad you all enjoyed your time in this beautiful place!
I adore this series because often the world looks at America like America looks at Florida, which isn't fair for anyone involved. But you get to see the heart and soul. You're travelling so far, but you're in the same country, but also everything is so different. Keep up the good work boys!
You know what I also love in these videos? I love just seeing real friendships building memories together and just truly enjoying each others company. ❤
As a Kentucky native who considers Lexington my second hometown, it’s so great to see sorted at Triangle park, having west 6th beers, and trying bourbon. Also the heirloom tomatoes on toast looked to be one of the best things from the trip! If you ever wanna come to the Lexington Comic & Toy Convention let me know!
My father as well as most of my family is from Kentucky!!! Caving in the woods, riding 4 wheelers, and eating southern home cooked food are some of my best memories there. 😋 I may live in Indiana but Kentucky is home to me ❤️ 💙 . So glad to see u guys there!!!
Really love that you guys are showing off some lesser known regions of the US! There's so much culinary diversity in the US outside of major cities and it's such a shame that it gets lumped together or misrepresented. Would love to see a foodie tour of Michigan if you ever get a chance!
I'm wondering what it would take to get them to the American west! I'd love to see their take on Celestial Seasonings Tea Factory, or a cowboy-style open fire meal.
I really like your curiosity and excitement over local food cultures. You are showing South US in a way a lot of people, even in the US never get to experience.
All 4 should choose 1 country each to all go and explore with each other, come back and have a cook off with your chosen areas and vote on a winner. love this series!
We know Louisville has great food but my wife and I are so excited y'all went all around Kentucky. Also my is so excited when she saw her beloved Cumberland falls at the end of the video one of her favorite places.
As a Kentuckian, I seriously hope they try a hot brown! It is a staple of the state! I also love that you highlighted the diversity of food in Kentucky. We have a large immigrant and refugee population, and it has helped to enhance our community both culturally and culinarily!
I drove all the way from Detroit to get a Hot Brown. Thank you Food Network and Thank You Kentucky for taking a day off my life for the Cholesterol build up.

I live just outside Louisville and absolutely love it. The Louisville Slugger Museum is a classic. Also Mike killed it in the batting ring. Glad to see you all enjoying where I call home.
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to our beautiful state! Those Bourbon Country cherries and Evan Williams sauces are products of my in-laws' family business! The Kentucky Derby is coming up soon - perfect time of year for celebrating our culinary traditions. I always get that "My Old Kentucky Home" state pride this time of year.
Love seeing you boys touring the Southern US. Its great seeing you guys appreciate everything there is to offer. There truly are some of the best cuisines you could find, and I'm glad you guys are enjoying it.
I see a lot of foreign people - typically UK - talking shit about American food over Reddit-way. Hello Sorted! I love that you are able to make these travel videos again. I’ve been able to discover parts of the US that I may never visit through you all and that makes me very happy. I have to represent the southwest, and let you know that the first image you have of the wild boar is correct, however, the second image is of a Javelina, which is not a wild boar. They are significantly smaller and love to eat pumpkins around Halloween. 😅
Can’t believe you left Louisville without a Kentucky Hot Brown, or Lexington without Burgoo! But SO nice to see you hit Versailles, and that you loved the pimento cheese and country ham!! I’m from Tennessee but spent 17 yrs in KY, and many of our dishes overlap, with many based on Scots-Irish, British, German and Cherokee heritage. Absolutely loving this series and that you got a chance to experience the American South. ❤
Thank you so much for respecting the South. We get disrespected a lot by a lot of other regions of America, but there's so much the South has to offer. You're doing a great job showing off the best of us.
Can I just say how impressed I am with Ben's driving? I'm not sure I'd trust myself with the steering wheel on the right and driving on the left side of the road. I think I'd crash into a double decker bus.
I think our lanes in the US are a bit wider, and the roads tend to be straighter (more planned/grid-like). I think it'd be easier to try driving here than try driving there. (Still wouldn't want to try switching sides)
It's not extremely hard, especially because the wheel is also on the "wrong" side and reminds you of that every time you step in the car. You need to make the mental switch once, and then just stay in that mindset, in some ways it's actually harder on an empty road with no one to remind you.
my favourite parts of videos like these is when someone tries something they love so they automatically share it with someone else. Like Mike putting a peach on Jamie's plate immediately. 😂😂😂
Soup beans! I grew up with them, because my dad grew up with them, and his parents grew up with them! I still make them occasionally -- great for the cold winter days. Pimento cheese is the USA's version of a cheese-and-onion sandwich. And I can't wait to see what you get into in Maysville -- my grandpa would go there with the farmer who employed him, the two would get roaring drunk, and then the horse that drew the wagon would take them home. It's where we sold our tobacco when I was a kid, and where we bought our steers to raise.

It looks like the boys have had quite the delicious US journey this summer. Its great to see them experiance some of the local dishes for the first time and share it with everyone so they can see them too. Also, lets people know where to go if they want to try it as well and helps those communities and small businesses.
I've been waiting for this episode 😁 So happy to see you guys in Lexington. Sad I couldn't come out and play while you were here. Glad you visited Agave & Rye. They make the most insane tacos ever. Great video. You've been eating in my backyard. The Buffalo and Elk meatballs are so good. There are so many good independent restaurants around Louisville.
I know y'all are in the south but you definitely should check out Omaha Nebraska, they have such an amazing food scene here that's a blend of so many different cultures due to us being in the middle of the country and the epicenter of the union Pacific railroad
Having seen some of my UK friends take on batting cages before, I was NOT prepared for Mike’s performance! Nice job! Heck, even Jamie did better than one of said friends, as he did not flee the cage after the second pitch. 😂
What did you guys think about the hush puppies?! i saw them on the plate - but was hoping for a reaction...Pimento cheese is one of those things that takes me back to being 6 years old, that and fried bologna sandwiches with mayo. I haven't been back to the states since moving to the UK in 2015, and this is like watching a trip back home.
It's the time of year to look for wild game dinners in your area if you're interested in exotic meat. They usually have common game like venison and rabbit, but I've also had turtle, pheasant, alligator, ostrich, muskrat, squirrel, reindeer and a few others. They normally support local organizations like VFW posts or volunteer fire departments.

I'm only 3 hours from Louisville, KY! I recently found your channel and I love it! I have watched so many of your videos in the past 2 weeks!
Having seen some of my UK friends take on batting cages before, I was NOT prepared for Mike’s performance! Nice job! Heck, even Jamie did better than one of said friends, as he did not flee the cage after the second pitch. 😂
I also love that you are doing this series, inspiring me to travel my country more now to places I have not always considered
So, cool to see places I have actually been on here! Love that you visited Louisville!
Ahh the catfish from Barren Lake. My favorite thing might be biased since I live a minute from the lake but still. Sooooo good
I mean its Catfish how can it be bad lol unless they got feed some yellow bellies
I was hoping y'all would come to Kentucky! And you guys definitely went to some of the best places here so far. Can't wait to see more.
I can’t wait to see the next episode! I grew up right next to Cumberland Falls. My first job as a teenager was there!
Loving the shorts yall!
Michigan around later summer or fall is good for apples cherry and other fruits if you ever feel up to it.
I live in Lexington and it is so cool seeing you visit some of my favorite places!
I so glad you tried the soup beans and cornbread. Love it
Eating your way through the Southern USA; what a great adventure!
My parents live in sadieville and there’s giraffes at a farm out there😂🥰🥰 grew up in Georgetown and I love going back to visit!!:)
I went to college in Lexington and seeing this made me miss it even more than I already did! Glad y'all had such a good time there, it's a great city.
Love to see you guys trying to experience actual America and not just hitting the cliche'd tourist traps. Y'all come back.
I never thought I’d see the smallish town of Lexington on a video. Much less from you guys in the UK. Glad to see Kentucky treated you right
Loved this USA episode!
