Hi Alastin! Yes pls make the Sunscreen in more shades pls! As Taylor said, it would blow up because its that good of a product for those who can find a shade. :)
A concealer setting tip I recently learned from a Nars makeup artist was to mix a TINY bit of a pigmented eyeshadow primer with it and it legit will stay and not budge, crease, or need to be set with powder!! Worked super well mixed with both nars products but I’ve tried with others too.
Saw a makeup artist clip that said mixing color corrector with foundation and placing under the eye then put eye primer on top and there will be no need for powder. Worked well
my game changer is not doing bottom eyeliner anymore. it allllways smudges on me because my lashes touch my skin and i used to think it looked silly putting mascara on top but not bottom. then i saw jessica braun stop doing it and no i rarely wear it. another game changer is to use a diffusing brush to apply foundation courtesy of robert welsh.
Paula’s Choice extra light daily wrinkle defense SPF 30 tinted mineral sunscreen is my game changer. I call it my “4 in one,” because it’s my day time moisturizer, sunscreen, primer and “foundation” all in one. It keeps my oily skin looking satin matte all day, even in humid Florida summertime
"Eyebrows are sisters, not twins." A mantra my sister drilled into me when I first started doing things with my brows. I repeat in my head every time I do anything to them.
I haven’t been on your channel in a hot hot minute, but your face!!!! Wow!!!! You are glowing and the transformation you’ve had from your acne from back in the day- wow. So beautiful.
My game changer technique was doing my concealer AFTER bronze and blush. I found that I always went overboard with the blush and was bringing it up way too high, so by doing my concealer after I was able to bring the blush back down and tone it down if I applied too much ( which I always do because I love blush 😅 )
My game changer has been applying my primer, foundation, and concealer like normal but before I blend out my concealer, I spray my face with setting spray, wait like 5 seconds and then blend in all my concealer (under eyes and on the face). Then I go in with my cream products. I feel like this has really helped me achieve a skin like finish, which can be hard on my combo skin. Love your videos! And I'd love to see a video on international makeup!
I'm guessing that you blend out with a beauty blender type sponge? I'd love to try to make this work with a makeup brush because I really am not a sponge fan, even though it can give a nice finish
@@anatolia0222 I haven't tried it with a brush but depending on your base products, it would probably still work. I use the wet n wild beauty sponge because it's super similar to the beauty blender.
@@jordanshaw5500 Recently it's been the Milani Make It Last (the regular one) or the NYX Matte setting spray, but I did it this morning with the Too Faced Hangover spray and it worked great with that one too!

When you said that accurate was a few YEARSSS ago… my jaw dropped. I’ve been following and hanging out it’s you for so long, but I didn’t realize its been so long since I’ve been following your life. Thank you so much for everything you do for us viewers! We have completely different skin tones and dryness yet I’ve consistently have been watching you because I love your content. Especially stuff like this and your travel blog!planning to go to Jordan for our next big vacation
In my younger years 16yrs old (1984) max factor had the best black pencil eyeliner. The difference is we would line our eyes , smudge it out, then put a beautiful blue max factor eye shadow (not all over) just slightly over the black to make your eyes pop. Smoke it out. You need to still see the black eyeliner. I have brown eyes and i always got complimented. I could only imagine how beautiful your eyes would look. I sometimes play around with this technique, but now that I’m in my 54’s i take it easy lol. For my skin, It cosmetics, works great. Thank you so much, for all your recommendations. You’re awesome Taylor ❤️
I totally agree on the Alastin SPF. I do not wear foundation so I always wear a tinted SPF. It just looks so beautiful on the skin, there is just something about it. It’s not like other SPFs.
Hi, I love that your travels has given opportunity to use what you have. To me it gives a different “message” to your viewers that it’s okay to use up what you have. Versus over buying and consuming so much that we’ll never use in a lifetime. It’s no hate.As I’m getting older I realize less is more!
I mix the Wet N Wild Mega Glow liquid highlighter in with my Purito Cica BB cream and apply with an old school flat foundation brush, smooth with a dry sponge and it is stunning! Looks so natural and glowy. I get so many compliments when I do this!!
I always use a black eyeliner (kohl or liquid) to do a super thin line that I then smoke-out using a brown powder. I find it looks more natural, but enhances lashes (both natural and faux).
I’ve noticed your brows too, I love the way you are doing them. Over the last year or so I’ve noticed major changes and I’m not super sure what it is but your base always looks flawless ❤️
I have been using the Colorscience Flex tinted SPF, rarely use foundation anymore. It comes out of the tube white but somehow turns to your skin tone. Great coverage and long wear, I am a nurse and it lasts all day in the hospital.
I agree with you, your brows really add to your pretty eyes and lend a more natural look then strict thin line. Your makeup game has really improved from my one perspective.
Isotretinoine is one of the top 5 game changer things in life. It changed mine a century ago and I can' t express how deeply happy and released I feel (again) when I see someone clearing up like you did, Taylor. Enjoy your light coverage, your creamy complexion and your nomade adventure! 🧛🏻♀️🖤
That would be a fun video. Where you do our suggestions!!! Only thing I’ve done different lately is just doing waterproof lip liner with gloss instead of lipstick.
Can you do a video of your current skincare prep for makeup? I have a hard time of mixing moisturizer and sunscreen without pilling or not looking good under makeup 😩
Hi Taylor! For smudgey liner, the elf no budge liners are actually really good! They give you about 30s to start smudging before they set, but they’re the only liners that I’ve found are creamy enough, convenient and long wearing. The black is my fav, but they also make an espresso shade but it’s not too deep. They’re also retractable :) Sending ❤️ from 🇨🇦!
I love the Alastin SPF. I’m on my second tube. The Colorscience Total Protection Face Shield is phenomenal as well. It has a little more coverage than the Alastin, but that same glowy finish.
I felt like the ALASTIN dried my skin out. 😭 I loved the coverage but my skin felt tight even with a lot of moisturizer on. Is the ColorScience more hydrating?
My game changer has been the Paula's choice 2% BHA exfoliant!!! Apparently, I am late to the game on it. I had no idea my skin looked so bad until I saw the difference a few days after beginning, WOW! Now I need a suggestion for day and night cream. I love the Dr. Jart ceramide cream also!
100% agree on Allastin tinted SS. I test a TONNE of sunscreens and this is my favorite tinted. Also too dark for me, but I mix with their white mineral ss to tone it down!
I love using setting spray, but it would ALWAYS make my mascara smear, even if I sprayed prior to doing my eye makeup, so I now spray my sponge and pounce it on, and it really helps meld everything together.
If anyone wants a good tinted sunscreen that will last through the hot sweaty days and nights and costs cheaper than Alastin... y'all should try the mineral tinted sunscreen from Australian Gold. It's waterproof and beautiful. Times are really tough for a lot of us right now....60 bucks is half a tank of gas. ❤️
The Elta md tinted uv elments is also a great, beautiful tinted SPF, and has a lower price tag and a little bit more sheer. So, it works on more skin tones. It is also waterproof like the Alastin. I have heard glowing reviews about the Alastin, too. And, the maybeline smokey eyeliner is suppose to be terrific. Thank you for your tips.
Totally relate to your brow position. I have sparse, barely there brows and feel they can be different each day depending on the product I’m using 😅😂 always remind myself “they’re sisters, not twins” Speaking of transformation - your recommendation for Paula’s Choice BHA has changed my textured skin and I thank you for sharing that favorite. Thank you, Taylor! 🖤🫶🏼🌟💁🏻♀️
Alright that’s it, I’m getting that alastin SPF! I’ve been going back to your videos to hear your review on it going back and forth but you’ve convinced me today lol
This year I've found my holy grail every day make up. Thin layer of Glossier Futuredew, Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter mixed with a skin tint/tinted moisturiser (currently using the Rare Beauty one but I want to try more) and then blend with damp beauty blender. I'll mix my absolute lighted concealer with a dab of colour corrector for concealer, blend with the beauty blender and then I'm done. Literally takes less than ten minutes. Add a brow gel, mascara and maybe some cream blush, MAYBE the tiniest bit of Futuredew for highlight and that's my daily WFH camera look. Doesn't look like I've got make up on but it makes me look youthful, glowy and natural. It's magic.
Praying for matching brows is SO real!!! Monica and Rachel stole my brows, and they won't give them back!! I need to get better at bringing them in further!! It's incredibly difficult. I must begin to incorporate more cream products!! I'm a 70s baby, and we 80s teens LOVED our powder!!! Taylor, you've helped my makeup life a thousand fold!! Always love your content!! I do hope your health is doing well!! Blessings to you!! ✌️💚🙏
I’m in the UK but I LOVE Wycon. Every time I go to Italy I buy loads! Their brushes are amazing, and in the summer they do some amazing body sprays that smell so good!
I feel like I’m never ready for your videos to be over! I really enjoy watching your videos and I feel like I relate to you so much! I hope you’re having a great (migraine free) day! ♥️
My latest favorite hack (I think I saw it on Risa or Stephanie Marie's channel?): Instead of dotting concealer under my eyes, I put it on the back of my hand then apply it under my eyes using a wet beauty sponge. It looks so nice and natural!
When you are watching a video and see a Taylor video pop up and immediately change videos😺 I have so been loving your vlogs. You look stunning, the traveling definitely agrees with you! Thank you for all you give to your viewers❤️❤️
I never hear about this but I really love the Riversol tinted face sunscreen! (A Canadian brand, but they do ship.) It's a mineral sunscreen and SPF 30. I'm pretty pale and have their original shade, now named 100, and it works for me. Makes my skin just look better. I even put it on as makeup when I don't need sunscreen. They have also since released an untinted shade and a deeper one. (I just hope the formula hasn't changed when I go to repurchase!) It does leave the face shiny and a bit tacky, but my skin is so dry that I like that. For me the biggest selling point of all is how it doesn't sting my eyes. Almost all sunscreens burn my eyes to hell no matter how careful I am, but once I even got a glob of this directly IN my eye, and I winced and cringed in advance waiting for the burning... that never came. Magical! No, I don't work for them haha, I just love the stuff. Sorry so long haha, love your videos!
As an oily skinned gal, I love to use cream blush (don’t really wear bronzer) after my foundation and concealer, and then set my entire face with powder. If the powder I’m using adds a bit of coverage, I’ll add extra cream blush. Then I get the nice blended effect of blush, but it stays all day and I remove the extra powder blush step. Works great and makes my routine a bit faster. Lol.
Love your eye look in this video Taylor! A "best cream products video" would be cool! I'd love to try more but never sure about which products are worth it. 🤔 I'd trust your recs!!
I JUST watched a whole bunch of your old videos the other day. I've followed you for yeeears - and it was so funny to see how you have changed. Some of it felt like it was yesterday, some like it was 10 years ago. Always loving your content! ❤️
I love the CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen sheer tint. It's sheer coverage but it does have some. It's beautiful on the skin. I wear it with a little concealer and thats it for my base.
Same. I mix it with my moisturizer to get a dewy smooth finish. I’ll add a little blush or bronzer on my cheeks afterwards for a touch of definition. I like how it wears over the day. Foundation wears patchy on me but the sheer tint sunscreen doesn’t.
I no longer use foundation. I just use a bit of concealer just where I want it, mostly in the center of my face. I use a medium coverage on the places where I don't need a heaps of coverage and higher cover just for under my eyes. It's been a game changer and so much more flattering on my 41yo skin.
The Alastin spf is some kind of witchcraft that I don’t understand or question - I am 48 and this is the only thing I wear on my skin now and I’ve never had more compliments. Thank you so much for this recommendation!
Cream products is a big one for me too! I used to never use cream products and now they’re pretty much all I use with the elf camo powder to lock it all in bc ya girl gets greasy, especially working out in this heat!
I love the origins ginzing tinted spf! Gives me a lovely glow, just a little coverage (really not much but I like exactly that) and lasts all day on my combo skin. Can highly recommend!
Ahh I know you’re anti mlm or I feel like you are but omg SEINT beauty 😭 youd love it. The contoured chemist on UA-cam made me literally fall in love. It’s the only makeup now I can use because it’s just so glowy and natural looking and all creams. Sooooo good!
No joke, these are the exact changes I’ve made to my makeup routine as well over the past year or so! If you would’ve told me a few years ago that I wouldn’t powder my undereyes I probably would’ve fainted 😂😅 but it’s helped so much with making my concealer look natural. Your makeup is flawless as usual!
Watching this video knowing you were in Florence when you filmed it makes my Italian heart happy 💚🤍♥ It's so funny to hear you say eyebrows are your least favorite step because your eyebrows rock! They're my fave part of putting on makeup, even though I've never had that many brow hairs. I've gone through the overplucker phase back in hs, so now I have to fill in sparse areas and re-shape them when I put on makeup. I feel confident not wearing makeup, even if my skin is not even remotely perfect, but when I have a few minutes to spare, brows are the focus for me, I feel like they balance my face and make me look more put together.
I'm a no foundation kinda girl. I only use it if I want to look really nice out and about. I've been wearing that Cerave Tinted SPF or Maybelline's BB Cream. They both have a spf of 30.
Yess Alastin for the win! Makes your skin look so beautiful and also quit setting my eyes a couple months ago and realized that has made such a difference. No more cakey, dry undereyes.
I’m using a lip and cheek tint instead of blush. And I switched out a MissA BB cream for the closest dupe I could get to AOA foundation (almost identical formulation).
your my fav youtuber ever!! I've been watching your videos for a good 7 years now and your content is always top notch, plus your personality really resonates with me! thanks for all you do taylor! I've been doing that pencil/eyeshadow smudged liner since forever, its my go to look and my recommendation is the MAC eye kohl liners! I have them in a couple different shades but my favorite is the costa riche one bc I have brown eyes. Also the la girl mechanic liner is BOMB for that technique and super affordable! Good travels and I can't wait to see the rest of your vlogs!
Purlisse ageless glow bb cream is spf 40 and is amazing!! I completely stopped wearing foundation and this is all I wear. It gives the skin the most beautiful glow but still giving coverage as well. I feel like I’ve tried every foundation, tinted moisturizer etc out there and haven’t found anything like this product. HIGHLY recommend!!
Game changer for me was discovering catrice’s under eye corrector (the ochre shade) to put under a yellow/red toned concealer to cover dark circles. I’ll top with one dot of skin toned concealer to even put any yellow/red if I don’t have self tanner on! Tired who?

I have noticed your evolution from full coverage to tinted moisturizers. You are beautiful either way
As an oily skinned gal, I love to use cream blush (don’t really wear bronzer) after my foundation and concealer, and then set my entire face with powder.
Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter was a base game changer for me!
The Alastin tinted sunscreen is my hands down favorite! I use it as foundation almost everyday and it’s beautiful!!
I no longer use foundation. I just use a bit of concealer just where I want it, mostly in the center of my face. I use a medium coverage on the places where I don't need a heaps of coverage and higher cover just for under my eyes. It's been a game changer and so much more flattering on my 41yo skin.
The half caked bronzer in coolness is a really nice contour. It’s cool tones but not gray. Highly recommend.
The Alastin spf is some kind of witchcraft that I don’t understand or question - I am 48 and this is the only thing I wear on my skin now and I’ve never had more compliments. Thank you so much for this recommendation!
"Some kind of witchcraft" 😆😂
Alastin PLEASE MAKE MORE SHADE! No other SPF compares to yours we need more shades 🙏🏼
You’re looking amazing! Your skin is glowing and you just look beautiful and healthy! Hope you’re well xx
Tarte tinted moisturizer!!! Works well with cream products
Cream products is a big one for me too! I used to never use cream products and now they’re pretty much all I use with the elf camo powder to lock it all in bc ya girl gets greasy, especially working out in this heat!
Thank you! Will look into that sunscreen. thanks. I love the colorscience glow. so good!
👀 I'm loving ur brows taking notes
I love the origins ginzing tinted spf! Gives me a lovely glow, just a little coverage (really not much but I like exactly that) and lasts all day on my combo skin. Can highly recommend!
Use the smash box always sharp liner in shade Sumatra! You will LOVE it
Hi,
I too went from sheering out my foundation to just wearing concealer. I’m also loving my cream bronzer and cream blush.
Your brows look SO good!! Love your videos, thank u for the ideas!! hope you’re happy and healthy 😊
Cerave tinted face spf! Wow I was blown away (and I have oily skin). Might be worth a try for you :)
Watching this video knowing you were in Florence when you filmed it makes my Italian heart happy 💚🤍♥
It's so funny to hear you say eyebrows are your least favorite step because your eyebrows rock!
Ur makeup has definitely never looked better. Thanks for always sharing the best tips! 😍😍
Tarte's Sugar Rush - Easy On The Eyes Clay Liner is great for smudgy eyeliner
Tower 28 tinted sunscreen is beautiful!
The Tower 28 tinted sunscreen is amazing! 20/10 recommend trying it!!
Hi Taylor its good to know the changes to your makeup routine now, also lots of good tips comming up in the comments Xx🥰
Definitely going to try these tips and tricks👍🏼❤️❣️Thanks so much, Taylor!!! Praying for great health on this last leg of you Nomad journey 🙏🏼🥰
your my fav youtuber ever!!
My 2 biggest gamechangers have been using the Sigma Max Kabuki 3DHD brush to apply foundation, and your Sigma Concealer Coverage brush!!
Literally THE best. 🔥🔥🔥
Just had to add that Alastin’s customer service is awesome! Silly me made a mistake in my order and they were super responsive and fast in fixing it.
After blending out my makeup I go back in with a blender dampened with pixie glow mist my skin look dewy and helps keep my makeup in place❤️
Yes I would try this in a lighter shade for sure
Game changer for me was discovering catrice’s under eye corrector (the ochre shade) to put under a yellow/red toned concealer to cover dark circles. I’ll top with one dot of skin toned concealer to even put any yellow/red if I don’t have self tanner on! Tired who?
