- Hello folks! This is my old performance of this well known song from Alice Cooper - Poison. I hope you will enjoy it!

not bad! Keep practicing :) I would play along with the actual song cause the midis I hear aren't very god. lol
I think the price is very simillar to fender strat, but the strat is better i think. Why? Although yamaha has better pickups, good tremolo, awesome vibratio, ect., is fender strat made better ( not better wood, but the procedure of making guitar itself). I have some problems with my yamaha - the G - string doesn't sound like it should, i had problems with the octaves... If yamaha's guys fix this problem, this guitar surely will be the best guitar for it's price :)
Hey Minekom2007! I'm quite happy with this guitar, i only have problem with G-string, which has some weird sound from 16 fret to 20 fret. I changed the strings but it's the same. I also took this guitar back to the shop on the repair, but they didn't think that this problem counts. My guitar is about 3 months old, i hope it will get better with time.
I use Zoom G2.1 multieffect and an old Ibanez GX30 amp, so the sound isn't very good. The clean is good with only amp used.
Btw guys stop sending me stupid messages just cause i thought this was rubbish 5 months ago i know i was stupid and was pwned cause dis is amazing shit but i am pretty good but maybe not as good as this...

Hey Misss135! I think i've learned it in couple of hours, and then i recorded it. I know you can master this song. It's not that hard, but it sounds very, very cool, when you play it :) Now, i'm learning Crazy train made by Ozzy, and it's pretty hard to play the solo. But i hope i will do it :)

Haha, emotional is the right word for my playing, yeah :) My version is the same i think than others, it's maybe different, but i tried to play other versions too, and they are the same difficult like this one i think :) Maybe it looks easier, because i'm playing it lol. And i don't make things difficult :)

This is awesome, a lot of covers and tabs out there are off, but this is almost perfect (noones ever gonna get it as it was originally done.) Definitely the best cover I've seen.

Tnx for your nice words, but my amp isn't "responsible" for this sound, if i say it trully :)It's only an old Ibanez GX30 amp. The guitar and Zoom G2.1u pedal did the job. You can't imagine how much time did i use, to get such sound from this Multiefect ;)

I know man! I learned this cover mostly by ear, so it's normal that it isn't the same like the original. Well, probably it would be really better if i used palm mute, but whats done is done :) Thanks for your words ;)
Tnx man for your nice words. I don't sing, because i wanted to make this video instrumental... It was recorded in such way, and i didn't want to change it, because it's quite good in that way, even without singing :)
I'm glad you liked the video. I don't know the settings anymore, because that was played through solid state amp, but now i'm using Zoom with bass amp, so i totally changed all patches. Sorry
Hey, tnx man. I used Yamaha pacifica 812V, multiefect Zoom G2.1u and some old Ibanez amp. I think sound would be even better if i had better amp and pedal. Like Boos GT-8 and some good marshall amp :)

Dude, i think that my lead part is played very quiet in original version of this song, so it's hard to hear it, but it's in the chorus, when Alice sing " Your poison".

Tnx for your comment, but i think it's fast enough. I used an old Ibanez 30W amp and Zoom G2.1u multiefect. Of course i've made my own patch, it's not a preset.

Try turning down the distortion, not letting the notes ring out when you're moving on to the next note in the main little riff, etc.
Maybe you meant 1 note in the end of solo, that i added :) But dude, the solo isn't fucked up for one note, which i believe, it sounds good in the solo.

what are the tabs for the bit in between 48 and 58 secs i cant stretch my hand enough but you seem to play it different

I learned most by ear, for some specific tones i used guitar pro tab. I don't know which one it was, but they are more the same anyway :)
Try to find tab on Ultimate, there are some great tabs. I used mostly my ear for this song, so i cannot give you my tab :) Sorry.

The noise reduction is just awesome. You don't hear a damn thing, when znr is turned on full. Even on single coil pickups!

Not bad. Just turn down the distortion...it's classic rock. Static-like distortion turns the tone to shit.

This is Yamaha Pacifica 812v but in my newer Poisen video i play Ibanez RG-2550E prestige.
I would say 4, because of solo. Otherwise, it's pretty easy to play, but it sounds great!
