System Logistics for Ipertosano

The automated warehouse designed by System Logistics for Tosano Group is located within the existing distribution centre in Cerea (VR) and comprises a pallet storage warehouse equipped with 10 double-depth stacker cranes, completed by a pallet handling system with hung monorail trolleys.
The system is also equipped with an automated package depalletization area and an internal package storage warehouse comprising 10 miniloads.
In addition, the plant includes a package and tray palletization area with picking pallet preparation stations: three of these stations are fully automatic and 1 is manually operated. The system is completed by automated wrapping stations and shipping stations.
Thanks to the MOPS automated picking system, developed by System Logistics, Tosano will be capable of automatically preparing picking pallets, subdivided by department and observing the sequence required by the lane set-up.
hanks to the Systore® software and the Bestfit® application, which represent the heart of the MOPS system, it will also be possible to prepare pallets by optimizing a variety of features, there including volumetric saturation, unloading order, stability, and uniformity of weight.
