People need to stop using age as an excuse. It doesn't matter that he was supposedly scammed. He came out of his house chasing an unarmed woman, who was walking away from him, with a gun. He didn't intend to scare her, he intended to unalive her. So, he should go to prison right along with the scammer.

I agree with you, she was obviously backing away from him, his life was not in any danger. I feel for Ms. Hall and her family. She was 61 driving Uber that means she was just trying to making a living or supplementing her income with a side job. God this is truly sad.

@patriciareyes7561 That poor woman, unfortunately, fell for what was obviously an indirect hit on her life. When the actual police officer asked him if he knew the woman he had sent to the house, his response was "Yes I do". But, it's even scarier if he didn't & just wanted to put someone's life in danger.

@@TalesForTheCulture I know, to say he knew her and clearly it seems he did not. I understand that the police traced the scammer/(s) to Canada and Uber deleted the account. I hope they can find them because they are as responsible for Ms. Hall's death as Mr. Brock is. You can see how scared she is when she backing away from him, just look at her face to be on this earth for 61 years and this is how you leave it, its rough. God I hope her family is okay, I am not overly religious but I have been praying for her and them ever since I saw this story.

If that guy had called the cops when the lady arrived, explained the situation and stayed inside until the cops came to assess the situation, he'd have all the sympathy he could want for being the victim of a scammer, but he didn't do that. He chose to pull a gun on a woman who had said nothing but "I'm here to pick up a package", and shoot her.....for words! The scammer is a piece of crap human who I think definitely wanted to cause trouble, maybe even hoped for violence, and I truly hope karma is currently hunting him down with some amazing discipline, but he didn't force that man to take lethal action, and if his fear level is so high he shoots the first person he sees when he's nervous, he shouldn't have had a gun in the first place!
The only actual genuine victim here who suffered is that poor lady being killed by an old man for doing her job, dying alone with nobody but a man who treated her like shit, and shot her when she tried to leave, with no idea why she was being murdered.....and she WAS murdered. She was not threatening, not armed, not yelling, and was backing away, and nobody is so afraid that they see THAT as a reason to shoot someone!

All this sympathy for William ,really? He came out of his house with a gun drawn to do harm, the decision was already made because William could've stayed in his house and not answered his door or went outside and called the cops before he shot Loletha several times by choice and told her he was going to shoot her and he did over and over again.
