So now the market for the Reliance Jio sim card seems really saturated as many people have already filled the forms.
What Mr.Mukesh Ambani had promised in the AGM seems not so true as I took the first hand experience of their new aadhar card E- registration process and found it to be a failure due to the over whelming response from the consumers. I tried it in the reliance digital store at Phoenix market city ,Kurla.

Jio Highlights :
1. Reliance Jio's base rates are one-tenth of the existing rates.
2. Data is as cheap as 5 paisa per MB. That's Rs. 50 per GB.
3. "More data you use, lower the rates," said Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani.
4. "No more blackout days. When you need to send a message on Diwali (or other holidays) operators charge double the rate." Not on Jio.
5. The user will be billed in real time. No need to wait until the end of the month.
6. Jio has only 10 main plans. Reliance believes the plans need to be simple enough for every Indian to understand.
7. Plans start as low as Rs 19 a day and go up to Rs 4,999 per month for 75 GB data.
8. All the plans offer unlimited 4G LTE data at night.
9. "All voice calls for Jio customers will be absolutely free" - Ambani
10. If you're a student, a valid student ID card will get you 25% more data on Jio tariffs.
11. Jio will also be providing WiFi to the majority of the country's schools and colleges.
12. Ambani said it's the only 4G-only network in India and "not mostly 2G, sometimes 3G, and rarely 4G".
13. Jio will roll out fibre optics to the home wired internet users in select cities. Speed promised will be up to 1 Gbps.

Don't complaint too much about ""JIO"" It can take 1-2 weeks for activation but try to understand its for every state and every city... but can't complaint too much coz ""ITS FREE"" Who the hell is giving you free internet today except ""JIO"" So guys get some patience and wait you will get your 4G ...

e-KYC not in place as claimed in the conference, that's concerning.
Be practical man. Kisne kaha tha k aaj hi chale jao store me. Kehne ko koi kuch bhi kahega but hume apna common sense to use karna chahiye.

i got it just based on adhaar card and with no problem. Jio is hot in demand so you might need to wait a while but activation and data speed was comparable to any european countries

i got my jio sim with my LYF phone , and thanks to the shopkeeper it got started within 3 hrs .
Took B&W copy of Aadhar card, One Photo. The form was filled by the Person behind the desk. 3 people were standing in front of me. It took me 5-10 mins. I bought it on 23rd Aug and activated on 26th. Store: Reliance Digital, Elante Mall Chandigarh.
I already got Jio sim card and it's day 9 and still sim haven't got activated 😐
Oh that's phoinex mall Kurla... Even I got my Jio sin from there.. Thankfully those days they were giving to privileged samsung customers... Now it's so crowded

All tarrif plan like 199 for 300mb,499 for 4GB can avail after 31st Dec
But What about 50 rupees for 1GB when it starts

Guess what guys !!! My jio sim which was offered free with the purchase of Jiofi 2 Device, got activated in less than an hour. And I carried my original Adhaar card only. No photos or photocopies of Adhaar were asked. I got it from Reliance Digital Xpress. Kamanahalli, Bangalore

Jio welcome offer is not applicable for Lenovo Smartphones even though it supports 4g :-(

I went to a normal mobile - recharge store , The guy told me to download an App named " my jio " from playstore And told me to click on " get sim " option, but i did not get that option , so that guy told , maybe it wont work in your cell phone😐😐
im already using 4g lte in Pakistan and its damn fast . and have zong 4g device and i have a subscribed to a package of 50gb per month and i only pay 2000 Pakistani rupees .
Thank God. I got Jio sim on 26th July coz I had a latest Samsung device. If I had to stand in a queue like this, I would rather not buy this.

You can try to visit a far off store which is not crowded. You will surely get the Sim. I got my Sim on time.

not that difficult , I made my way out of the Reliance digital store in 1.30hrs time. In 3 days I started getting messages and 4th day sim got activated. I'm getting max speed upto 35mbps, compare this to 2mbps bsnl broadband I was using. I have downloaded 150gb of data so far. My JioFi is always on. I am 100%satisfied with it.

Mostly ye dekha hai ki, log line me proper khade hote hai naa ki bheed jama karte hai table k pass.. I think Reliance ko kaise bhi ye manage karna padega, kyuki ab bheed badhne wali hai from 5th.. Ab ye token system same day k liye hona chahiye, naa ki aaj token mila aur sim lene wapis 2-3 din baad aana pade, thoda system improve karna hoga.. I hope k aapko sim mil jaaye 5th ko.. 👍 Love IndianConsumer family 💞
We are already aware that there are a lot of pending applications due to the manual process used.
But, as soon as the system rolls out to the store, it would be fast..
I think you should have recorded this after Sept 5 to verify and describe consumers whether they would be getting the JIO SIM in 15 minutes or not..

i gt a sim on Aug 19(fri) from a mini outlet in mahim & it's still not activated.
The outlet guy is saying " if you get ur hands on a Jio sim, don't expect it to start before 5 Sep.

visited reliance digital store on 20 sep 2016 and they told me server issue is there from then till today they have same answers.
I think you were wrong as much i know its like you need to fill e kyc form and go with adhar card verify and done in 15 mins its yet to roll out in stores. First it will come in delhi and Mumbai then other metro cities

and they even dont give the sim if i take my mothers aadhar card with a letter signed by her... they just declined it and told to bring her here..for such services vodafone rules!

I got it on Aug 31 in an hour and a half. No pre-registration bullshit from where I got. I'd suggest, don't go to stores which are located in shopping malls (those are overly crowded)...

this is what happen when you rush into making video.the automated machines are available in select stores of mumbai and delhi.
Sir,when ever we go to Reliance stores..half of the time they are closed and when open they say that they don't have Jio sim available but Jio sims are selling on other recharge shops in black for like 500 rupees and more. We can't get free sims on the store though eKYC or any other process.

Whatever i tried three times with all the documents and bar code from my jio app and all they say is they need only aadhar of the particular state only(say if you are not from Karnataka and you have tried to get sim from Bangalore), why the heck do we aadhar if we are not considered as Indians.. point to be noted.

1. Dil se feel hota hai ki ek aam insaan k lie Jio useful hai
2. U describe each n everything in a nutshell (which i cant in other videos for Jio).
3. U never promote Jio rather left it to time and response from public.

Yesterday in the evening Mr. Ambani took conference and right away you went to store wow how smart you are. And second thing try to understand the things. Mr. Ambani said New sim will ACTIVATE within 15 minutes if you have EKYC. Otherwise it will take as usual time which it takes which is very simple common sense unless until you want Mr.Ambani to speak out this sentence also. And we should have to understand before talking anything wrong coz whole INDIA knows that on 5th also won't be so easy to get sim. You are exactly acting as our Media.
