you'r videos are awsome
Thanks Dean! Appreciate the feedback and support TN neighbour!! A. Jack
I've hunted Zim three times, twice around Lake Kariba. Some of the best days of my life. Always a beautiful adventure!!!!
Thanks for sharing Jerry! We hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane!! A. Jack
Thanks Jerry for coming to Zim, it is indeed a magical place. Hope you come visit again sometime! Its a great pity that there is so much negative press on Zimbabwe, it's certainly a lot safer than most of the capital cities in the west!
Thanks for the comment! Info always welcome!! A. Jack
What a small world .. watching this in NZ .. Gibbo was my neighbour in zim!
Rest easy mate!!
Thanks for the the awesome comment Pieter! Already sent it on to Gareth Brown! Thanks for watching!! A. Jack
Ian Gibson was my PH on my first trip to Zimbabwe. When I was there he had a 458 Winchester that I would dearly love to have. Gareth is incredibly lucky to be the caretaker of that rifle. Ian was one of a kind.
Thank you for the heartfelt comment Ben! We really enjoy hunting history and appreciate yours!! A. Jack
Wow wow 458 Winchester.. beast... ❤
Man, what a gorgeous part of Africa. The Africa that is in your mind.
It is indeed Tozo! Currently filming Tiger fishing on the Zambezi River, Zambia! Thank you for your feedback and support!! A. Jack

It was indeed Klaatu! Thanks for the comment!! A. Jack
I was at high school with Ian Gibson the whole way through. He was good bugger. RIP Gibbo.

Thank you Ashwin! Appreciate the comment! More to come!! A. Jack
I’m really enjoying this channel and content. I live in extreme north east Florida in the United States and of course to me, this is an exotic landscape with exotic animals.i know to you these are not exotic. I am a hunter since 6 years old and now 65 years old. Thank you for sharing this with me.
Thank you for your kind words! Comments like yours is what inspires us to keep doing what we do, capturing and producing African adventures the way we do (as accurately as we can) with clients that love Africa just as much as we do!! A. Jack
Chad & Michelle back at it again! 🤓 Andy also dropped a video on TIAFive. Awesome! Team Buchanan 🦅
He did indeed! Thanks again for the comment Ebs!! More to come!! A. Jack

Thanks G! Congrats on your 2000 subs!! A. Jack
@@AfricanJackTV need 3 more haha. But thank you very much! Your so close to 1000 I wish I could help get you there sooner!
Fantastic buf! I wonder why videos like this never show the shot placements. In the old show American Sportsman the always showed the shot. It helped you learn and also appreciate the animals' responses and durability.
Thanks again for the comment Sam! We will definitely be producing more informative shot placement oriented episodes on a new show we're releasing on the channel later this year! Standby... A. Jack
@@AfricanJackTV As we say around here, "cool beans" which means "great". If with each animal the shot location was pointed out (enterance/exit) we viewers could then appreciate why the animal responded the way it did in that particular situation, ie. dropped immediately, ran a few steps and dropped, headed for the hills, adrenaline rushed etc, And then the desired spot could be shown, also considering the animal's position- broadside, 1/4 away, face on, uphill, shooting downward, etc. Thanks. As hunters that is crucial information. Says a lot about the animal, too.
The title of this video should be "why a scoped rifle is a better choice for buffalo".
What month was this hunt ?
That big guy doesn’t need a rifle to kill he just runs em over like a freight train lol 😂
Exactly Eric! We call him G66!! 💪🏼🤣
Beautiful bull - manje why lo mlungu ushaya imbogodo
What are them hunting for?
Hi Myla. Trophy and meat hunting. Did you mean species? A. Jack
@@AfricanJackTV No I mean why are you killing the animals? If it's for food it should be for the Africans that's there animals.
Is Africa your home or are you from Europe?
It's an important balance Myla. The hunter will hunt an old ram/bull (trophy) and the meat will then be distributed between the locals (camp kitchen will also get a portion). By doing this it slows (not stops) poaching of animals (poachers will shoot anything irrespective of age/gender).Wildlife populations suffer and decrease as a result.
South African. Born and raised.
