I grew up on jazz/fusion music and for decades it was regarded as the precursor to "smooth jazz"...meanwhile those that were in the know sampled and were inspired heavily by all of that music. It's nice to see an entire generation who weren't even alive back then resurrect it.

Hmmm...it does sound bit clunky in places...something I'm not used to with these two. I would say the EQ is off, which definitely affects it as well. Overkill on the low freqs, but maybe it's just the mikes used to record...

A drummer as part of the duo? Domi and JD aren't funk in the slightest, and they don't try to be. Just exposing yourself for having 0 ear for what you're even hearing.
