In the scene with Martell and his therapist, he said in so many words about wanting to stop his relationship with Slaw but not being able to, without actually mentioning her by name. The therapist basically told him he needs to focus on himself in order to be successful.
The therapist is Mel's therapist. She said she and her children had been seeing her. Then, i believe the judge ordered that Martel to attend therapy with her and he was supposed to attend therapy with his son.
Unfortunately, for Martel this interview revealed more about his character than Marsau's. The entire scenario confirmed why he lost respect for Martel, as have many others . Arionne has no class and she showed up inappropriately dressed pretending to appear intelligent and above the young lady, but in fact, they are both the same. Martel has a Mother and young female children, future clients, media exposure and this is how he chose to present himself ? Martel and Arionne are perfectly matched, both vulgar and disgusting.

Trisha can take classes at small businesses bureau. Maybe she can turn her garage into a training area. I turned my condo into a spa. I did massages, personal trainer and as a nutritionist. I saw people from 7am to 8pm 6days a week.

I gave this episode a 9. I like the one-on-one conversations. Kimmi got so much info. out of Trish. To find out Trish hasn’t filed the divorce papers was surprising. Kimmi’s responses to Trish and in the confessional were great. The Maurice and Martell convo was long overdue. I wasn’t surprised that Martell didn’t know the meaning of the word “infallible.” And, I wasn’t surprised that Maurice pivoted to bashing Mel. I liked the therapist. It’s hard counseling people like Martell who never want to be held accountable for their toxic behaviors.
I, too, saw a bit of defeat in Martell in that session. Maybe defeat is not the correct word, more like apprehensive realization that he’s done so much to Mel that he knows she’ll never forgive him for the lengths he’s gone to make her see *HIM* again. He’s made it to where he can’t even be graced with her presence unless the court is involved, and nobody did that but him. It looked like everything was sinking in on that scene. Tsk tsk 🤷🏾♀️
And the therapist reaction when he said he only had one issue to work on. Shouldn't she have been writing instead of reacting? So she's already biased?
In my opinion I believe Trish loves Marques , he is the children’s father and when you are in love from HS, get married and have children you have so kind of feeling… she may not want to be tied down now that she has some kind of celebrity of being on a reality TV show..she may want to see what else you s out there

When she has a conversation with anyone, she hardly ever looks anyone in the eye's. You can't trust someone like that.
