Seems like a terrible decision to even entertain recruiting the Ferraris knowing this. Putting aside the fact that chittum is almost certainly going to be a 4x AA you're just bringing a lot of negativity to your program with the Ferraris. not to mention dating back to early high school they have probably been at 7 different schools so you're getting rid of a good kid who's good for your brand and the program for some sketchy individuals who bring in a ton of bad publicity and may potentially leave at the drop of the hat or after the result of their next court case.

❤ Upon hearing your description of Cody, I can infer that he is an individual who values authenticity and genuineness over the pretentiousness that often accompanies those who come from privileged backgrounds. It's understandable that he would be wary of dealing with the "BS" that comes with being associated with a family that may exude a sense of entitlement and superiority.
It's common for people to feel suffocated and frustrated when dealing with individuals who are self-absorbed and fail to recognize the value of humility and empathy. It seems like Cody has made a conscious decision to distance himself from these types of individuals, and I commend him for that.
Regarding the Iowa/Iowa State rivalry, it's interesting to note that it appears to be a phenomenon that is mainly confined to those who reside in Iowa. While sports rivalries can be entertaining and even exciting, it's important to keep in mind that there are more significant things in life to focus on.
Perhaps, for those who are less invested in the Iowa/Iowa State rivalry, it might be more interesting to gauge how well these teams stack up against more nationally recognized powerhouses, like Penn State. By taking a more macro-level approach, we can gain a better understanding of the broader trends and patterns in collegiate sports and how different regions and teams compare to one another.

did Cody speak of this issue with Ferrari prior to their recruiting attempts of Ferrari I wonder? Not that an individual, especially a high schooler be able to dictate who a college does and doesn’t recruit, however the world we live in now who knows. I wonder if Iowa would rather have Cody instead of Ferrari? This is why I ask. Did they possibly know of his unwillingness to be the team with Ferrari and just decide to try and call his bluff? Recruiting character is how psu is dominating. They have had their share of guys messing up but character overcomes. They grow, they learn or they move on. I believe the brands and iowa would do anything to be on top and maybe this gamble will pay off. The ferarris are uber talented but require constant attention. The Iowa coaching staff did a great job with desanto, so they have the experience. I myself would have rather had chittum. Maybe, chittum decided he wanted to be great and realized iowa is where great goes to become good. Just my opinion
